This was the worst UHAUL experience. 1st I was confirmed to pick my vehicle up at Jensen Beach then 5 minutes before my time to pick up I was sent almost 15 miles away then the lot was horrifying, not a safe place, there was no staff, I was not help by Uhual customer service on chat. The truck has no a// . I love in FL we're it's always high 80's no air in truck. When I picked it up the gas tank was empty. Then I was charged twice$60 some dollars at pick up and$70@ time of drop off. I was suppose to pay$29 for the truck and my Mike's should of been more than half because I only moved 2 Mike's up the street to a bigger condo. I MOVE AGAIN THIS YEAR AND WILL NEVER USE UHUAL
Tanya WLocation not open and self check-out instructions not provided, hours listed in business were false. Place was scary in a bad neighborhood. Vehicles parked in unmaintained areas with high grasses. Another truck was left running the hour I was there to pick up, and no one around. Could barely get vehicle out with the one running blocking the exit. Many abandoned and damaged cars in lot.
Crista PI rented a dolly it wasn’t there. No one was there to get it from them. So I paid for something I didn’t receive and then had to no dolly to use for my move which made it even more difficult
Jennifer OTotally un profesional office was closed when I went to pick up the vehicle at 12:00pm, I had to call to finish my transaction over the phone. So no one contacted me to inform me of that. And lock box were the vehicle key was in did not open properly and there was a decrepency in the mileage, so I never had any face to face interaction with this company. Wil not be using this location again
CLADIA CJust not a big fan of the self serve, doors are locked at the business, forced to use the app, worked with U-Haul tech support to get through the whole process, way too many pictures involved, prefer in store pick up but was forced to self serve at the last minute, amazing vehicle and successful mission, thank you.
Patrick WI will start by saying the truck we eventually received was clean and in great condition. However, the process of getting it was a trial. We did an in-app rental so the keys were going to be left in a lockbox for us to get. When we got there only one truck was in the lot so it was obvious that it was ours. The truck matched the id info in the app, but the only key left in any of the 9 lockboxes did not go with it. The store hours say 9-7 on Saturday, but no one was there from 12:15-1 while we were trying to solve this. We knocked on the door (no one was inside) and called the phone number (no one answered and there was no option to leave a voicemail). So we had to do a live chat with U-Haul customer service. During the chat we located the truck that matched the keys, it was a larger size parked across the street. So the chat agent updated the contract to the larger size and we were just out the dollys that I had reserved. (She said I would have to get the location to credit that back to me so hopefully that goes well). The whole thing took 45 minutes, but it felt like forever since we had people waiting for us so that we could get started loading. The return process was interesting since they want all the pictures but the lot is on the small size and the lighting is awful. Was interesting to see that the other truck was gone so I guess someone came to work and found the key. I really hope that they can either update their hours or at least answer their phones for future customers.

SANDRA JThe location was fine. Easy to get to, helpful folks inside the store, truck was clean and easy to locate. UHaul customer service, however, was horrid. Customer service cancelled my pick-up twice as I was on site on the app trying to get through the frozen app, the repeated cycles and the questions and information-gathering that should have been given to me when I made the reservation 10 days prior. Expert tip from experience- whatever you do, DON'T use the app for early pick-up. Wait the extra time to get to work with a live person in the store. And heaven help you if you have an out of state license. You will have more hoops, they will be annoying and time consuming, and if you voice any frustration, the customer service rep will give you just enough support to move to the next step but will leave something out so you can't actually pick up your truck. This was quite a memorable experience and I have learned many valuable lessons from it. From now on, Penske Truck Rental is the only option for me.
Jodi DMake sure the equipment is fully functional and ready to operate. The first truck I was given had a dead battery. Had to get a whole new truck and re-do all the paperwork and pictures.

CHRISTOPHER TThe cab of truck was sticky with juice and then later in the day a mob of roaches came out and few of my personal items in the cab area had roaches crawling over it so i literally shook out all my boxes and bags. Which extended my move time. Associate was helpful, but equipment had checkn engine light and the roaches was the most disgusting experience. Wont rent frim location again.

Jason EDrove 22.2 miles, charged for a 1/4 tank of gas. Have been doing this every Christmas season and have never been charged. The math doesn’t math. In that case that means your trucks go 100 miles on a tank of gas. I never use this facility and my reservation was moved to this place. Very disappointed
RICHARD DThere’s really no parking because all the spaces are filled with cars. They charged me for an extra day when I was told I had a different return time and then rather than help me the lady said call customer service. I would never rent from here again seems like whatever way to make extra money they will take it. I had the trucked dropped off the day it was supposed to be returned. Ridiculous!!!

Michael YI made a reservation for 26 foot truck. The 26 foot truck was not available. I was given a 15 foot truck with a large increase in price which is completely a bogus move and I was told there was nothing I could do because it changed my reservation when I excepted the smaller truck. I feel like I got completely ripped off. This is an unacceptable business practice.

aldo cI scheduled a no-person pick-up. It was not explained to me, beforehand, all of the extra steps that were required to get the keys. The entire process took a half hour longer but at least U Haul extended my reservation time with no extra charge. The van was filthy in the back. I would not use this location again.

They literally told me to leave it where it was easy for me and they will take care of it. And that’s exactly what happened. Very nice.

I was told that I could pay cash when I came back to drop the truck off I couldn't was overcharged, a 100 miles is just over all that experience. Nobody would help not real happy.

Tristan SI would like you guys to improve that if you make a reservation 3 days or more prior to your request date. Your vehicle should be there for you. I made my reservation for 8am with a dolly and my vehicle was not available. My moving schedule had to be adjusted because you guys didn’t have my vehicle ready like I requested. So I had to pay more money for the moving guys to wait. Finally, when I did get my truck, there was no dolly inside which I also requested. I will not be renting anymore vehicles from U-Haul. This is a very poor and disrespectful service.
KENDRIS LAfter making my reservations on the phone from another location (because nobody answered their listed number) i drove to the location to retrieve the truck. The truck was dirty, there was nobody there to assist or provide information. Nobody answers their phone and the person on-site had no clue. I had to call the customer service line to obtain guidance and assistance
Dalton SHaul is very reliable and enable its customers to go forward in executing their plans with ease. It is worth recommending everyone to make that experience. A+
Abner FSite was down (august 25th, 1:00 pm) lost money from a job I needed the rental for. Truck smelled like dog and the interior windshield was hardly transparent from it being coated in filth. Chevy Silverado is one of the worst pick up trucks I have ever operated. Check engine light on at 19k miles??? Not a happy camper...

katherin tUhaul failed to provide the reserved rental van at the designated location. The night before, I received a text to drive to another town over 20 miles away to obtain the needed van. I had people waiting for me. Uhaul then charged me the extra round trip miles for their failure to meet the confirmed reservation. This is not acceptable behavior, but Uhaul made more money - their apparent plan.
