I was never told the before and after mileage, I had $100 took off my debit card. I literally went up the street( for 2 miles) to pick up one load of stuff. Unloaded at my storage ( which is next door to this location). I rented the $19.99 truck and $10 appliance dolly. I paid $40 which I feel I was ripped off by $5. I didn't get a contract or receipt explaining my charges. The owner who I dealt with originally, left. One of the employees called him and he told him to charge me $40. So, the employee gave me $60 out of his pocket because he didn't have access to the cash register.Erica M.

I was charged for 80 miles, when I probably didnt even do 20. U Haul customer service was able to help me get a refund, but now im out of money while I wait for that to be put back in my account. I dont know how this happens other than the place reporting the miles falsely or inaccurately. And Im the one that has to take the hit, even if only temporarily.Brian R.

Fuel light was on read low fuel was not noted on my contract. I put gas in on return and fuel light was off. I rented 1 DAY! At 19.99 why is bill 72.00?????? You over charged me. I rented 19.99 truck before and went farther and bill was 45.00 something is cheating on this Contract.jennetta M.
We rented the truck on july 21st at 9:13am and returned it at 2:50 the same day. We drove less than 5 miles and was charged for over 255 and had it for an extra day. When we attempted to address the issue at the location today, they lady was of no help and seemed to not have the knowledge to handle the situation. I had to personally escalate the issue with corporate to get the issue resolved. Hopefully we can get this resolved quickly. .Russell J.

Worst service. Started when the changed the location of the pickup of the truck. Then, went to pick up the truck... had to wait for somebody to come in the office... then when we returned the truck waited again for somebody.... and she didn't really know what she was doing it apply the $50. The employees at tires 2 U promptly greeted us and asked what they could help us with. The Uhaul we rented was ready to go, and it was well maintained cosmetically as well as mechanically. I definitely recommend these guys for Uhaul rentals as well as tire services. Very trustworthy.Karah K.

This site closes at 4pm. I was supposed to be able to pick up my rental at 9:15 but it was more like 10:00 simply because the owner -- the only one who could rent a truck -- didn't arrive until 10. That 45 minutes would have made a huge difference, or better still, they close at 5 or 6 or something more sane. Apart from that it was friendly and professional.William Z.

Stop using third party facilities that customers keep complaining about. The person checking us out wasn't even at the store and we had to wait 20 minutes for them to show up. Then, the truck wasn't even ready even though it had been sitting there and we had to wait for them to clean it up and move it somewhere we could access it. Then, they never reviewed the truck with us or checked the mileage in our presence. They overcharged us 6 miles on the paperwork versus what showed in the truck.Paul H.
This drop off location was terrible. They are closed Friday-Sunday and can't get their hours straight on the other business days. I attempted to drop off the truck on Sunday and the place was closed, it claims to be a 24 hour drop off location, but there is no access to the facility and the drop "box" for the keys is a hole in the wall. So I attempted to drop off the truck the next day. I googled their shop and it said that they are open starting at 7:30. I was there around 8:55 and called uhaul to see if I could drop off the truck somewhere else because the shop was closed, again with no access to where the trucks are stored. I was told that they open at 9 and they would not change my drop off location and to just give them some time as it was barely 9:00 when I was speaking with the agent. I had called both numbers posted outside of their business to see what they had to say and at about 9:05 one of the numbers called me back. They said that they opened at 8 that day but would be in in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later another person (Mike was his name) from the shop called and said that they in fact did not open until noon that day...which would make my uhaul late. He told us to just park it in the dirt lot across the street and to drop the key in the "box". I called uhaul again so that they knew that I was no longer responsible for the truck and that I put the key in the hole in the wall and parked the truck in the dirt lot. This location is not in the best neighborhood and I did not want to be responsible for anything. This shop also looks sketchy and might not be just for tires and repairs. I will never use this location again, and will go out of my way to do so. I will also suggest that everyone else does the same.Dianne L.

This location should let customers know that there is a service charge of $30, on top of a gas charge if the customer did not have time to get gas. My husband and I ran into a problem with the move to our new home with the Internet service and he had to remain at the house. I had to drive the truck by myself and was not comfortable pulling into a gas station. The manager Mike was unfriendly and I explained it would be helpful for the customer to be informed of this policy.Dawn H.

It was just a bad location. No where to park after hours. Key drop off is a hole in the wall ...literally . I left the tank On FULL but they entered it in on half a tank. I took a picture of mileage and the gas level upon parking the vehicle.KATYA C.
TERRIBLE!!!! (Charles Barkley voice) I waited in the office 40 minutes to be assisted, the representative "in charge" was taking so long he even kept sending other customers waiting for tire service to tell me, "hey they said just a little while longer". This wait made me late to my lease signing appointment and cable installation, they lowered the rate for the inconvenience but closed down early and left me to leave the truck at a liquor store!! Two days later they call saying they don't know where the truck is, once they find it they apologize and say everything is good and done. Then ten days later the guy calls saying I never paid!!! I had to call U-Haul customer service to verify my account was in fact paid in full. Look into this place seriously!!!!!! I will never go there again and I will certainly Yelp about this location and include pictures of the empty service room left totally unattended.ADAM W.

I rarely rent a truck, so it was a surprise when the total came to almost $100.00!!! I feel the breakdown should be explained or put on paper just how much the trucks will cost a person. I think I would have asked to borrow my neighbors truck instead. Your employee was very knowledgeable and curtieous..(?)PATRICIA S.
I reserved the truck over the phone on a Friday for 8am Monday when THEY and their site said they open b/c I needed to be in Rancho Cucamonga by 8:30. I specifically asked if they have a 17' truck there and was assured it was. When I got there at 8am it was still closed. I called the Uhaul call center and they apologized and had the that location manager call me. He called and told me he was stuck in traffic and will be there in 10mins. He gets there at 8:20 and he tells me that the truck is not here yet, it's on the way. A few minutes later a customer drives in the truck and as she's getting checked out the manager tells her he has to charge her for gas at $5 gallon b/c she brought it back empty and she said she would take it and put gas in it making me even more late. The manager seeing my frustration discounts me $10 on the rental and .10Â¢ a gallon which helped the situation. But when I finally got the truck it was after 9am and it only had 1/4 tank of gas. Now on top of running late I had to fill it as I needed it to pick up a load of store merchandise in LA. I had no problems with the truck, it was clean and drove good. I brought it back the next day at 8:15 (b/c I figured they'd be late again) and sure enough it was still closed. Here's the part that unnerved me the most. While I'm waiting for someone to come and open the store I called Uhaul and was transferred to customer service, The rep tells me that the system shows they don't open until 9am. HUH? I ask, how is it I can reserve a truck for 8am if they don't open until 9am? He says, they would come in early just to rent me a truck. LIE! I told him the hours posted on their door reads open at 8am and their website says they open at 8am. He said they could send a rep to view the posted hours and ask why it conflicts with the system if I want to make a complaint. I told him don't bother, I refuse to use Uhaul for future use. I took a picture of the posted hours and a screenshot of the site that both read they open at 8am. Then to make matters worse, the guy who showed up to open the store, doesn't even handle the Uhaul side of the business, he handles the Tires2U side. He kept having to call the manager to direct him over the phone how to check in the truck and complete the transaction, the manager never even came in! If you're on a tight schedule DON'T go there, they're unprofessional and don't show up on time and apparently the call center has their back regarding when they open. I will be posting this on Yelp with the pic of their hours and screenshot of the website reflecting their hours. Too many bad experiences with Uhaul.john S.

The inside was not sweep, cup holders were sticky due to not cleaning, overall the truck ran great. My appt.was at 8am and the owners son did not arrive until a little before nine, as I sat in my car patiently waiting in 80 degree weather. Throwing me behind schedule an hour. And no greeting, I gave him my confirmation on a piece of paper and he just pushed it back with out any eye contact the whole time and said I don't need that. I feel this establishment is poor for U-Hauls business. But that is my opinion. Thank you for the reimbursement, I will look forward to returning to the D st.store this weekend for the major move.Yvonne W.

The truck was filthy. The cab looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. It was sticky and dirty. The back of the truck was not swept out and there was a dolly inside that I had not rented and that was not tied down. The light in the back of the truck was broken as well. I tried to call Tires 2 U to let them know about the condition of the truck when I reached my first destination and had time to investigate, but no one answered their phone. I tried several times over the weekend to contact them via phone and the line just rang and rang. No answering machine and no one ever answered. I finally contacted U-haul to let them know. Upon returning the truck I reported this information to the gentleman who checked me back in at Tires 2 U and he was rude and incensed that I would call U-haul to report the condition of the truck. To make matters worse I was overcharged for the rental, by nearly $75.00. The customer service here was terrible. I would not recommend this location to anyone.KATHLEEN W.
