According to the information on the contract from the previous renter, our truck (Unit JH 3201 E) was at TNT Storage for four days before we picked it up.
1) The front of the truck was covered with bugs and needed a wash.
2) The windshield wipers needed to be replaced.
3) There was an appliance cart in the back of the truck, rolling around loose. We turned it in at the Rochester, MN location.
4) The truck rode TERRIBLY! I have been a truck mechanic for over 40 years, so I understand that trucks do not ride smoothly, especially when empty. This one rode terribly even when loaded! In addition to excessive wheel hop from the left rear duals, there was a lunging effect at normal highway speeds. The Rochester location stated the problem is the cargo box, specifically the "Mom's Attic". If this is a chronic issue for your customers, then remove the over-the-cab storage area, which is only rated for 500 pounds max weight. We have rented 26 foot Penske trucks before and did not have terrible ride quality. My back is still sore today from pounding over 500 miles in Unit JH 3201E.

Noticed a very bald inside tire after had the truck filled and ready to go. Made it to my destination but it delaminated when I dropped it off. Just be sure to check all the tires as they don’t service them here.

tell all owner to be nice like this man we found named - Claude was the owner of the U-Haul truck and car equipment in Waynesville, MO. and that man is the nicest man i have ever met. he helped me and my elderly husband to be able to get the truck and car transport an extra day and said ma'am do not worry - all of us have to load and unload our trucks by ourselves and moving is hard from another state or even down the road. we could not find anyone to help us pack the truck or unload with us as we are elderly. Please tell Claude in Waynesville Missouri that he was the nicest person we ever had the pleasure to do business with. We had to call several places to get help from and they were all to busy to help us or they just did not want to and that is frustrating. thank you UHAUL for Claude

Dropped off to location during off hours but before scheduled drop off. Difficulty getting a hold of the personnel. Had to leave several messages without a return call. They are not true to their hours posted online or to the hours posted on the door. They are open and close whenever is a good time for the personnel.

Took too long to get the key through the app and was freezing that morning (not their fault, U-Haul app leaves some things to be desired). Windshield wiper fluid was not full. Caused some windshield visibility issues while driving through snow in New Mexico when I ran out after only like 5 uses. Double check all your wiper fluids are topped off before renting please.

I was charged FOUR months of rent upon moving in. When I called to ask for an explanation, no one answered. I left a voicemail and my call wasn’t returned. Luckily my credit card company took care of it and I was only charged one month. Additionally, when I moved in I was told my unit was “accidentally” rented out and online reservations are no longer valid. I was “lucky” and got the “only” unit left which was not by the office and didn’t seem secure in the least! There’s not gated access and anyone can come and go as they please. I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

We had a unit for almost 2 years. Our auto pay debit card on file expired and the owner called asking if everything was ok. I apologized and updated the information. He could have just closed our account, sold our stuff, but he was so nice about it and was concerned if we were ok! I would recommend T-N-T every time!!
