I think customers should be told up front that they will be spending MORE than what is advertised on the truck sign. I thought my move would be under $50, but when it was over, it was almost twice that amount. Also, it would have been nice to have some moving supplies, i.e. blankets in the truck. Last, I did not like talking to a guy over the phone and giving out all my credit card information in a store with other people nearby. Next time, I will go with a different company.

The system was slow and I had to wait for longer than usual while my uhaul van pickup. Also the fuel indicator is wrongly calculated and I had to pay extra $6 for 1.5 gallon fuel which I don't agree. The inspection didn't happened immediately after returning the van in front of me.

This was not the location I had selected on my original reservation but was told there was nothing else available so I accepted the change. I had made a reservation for a 20 ft trailer, 6 furniture pads, a furniture dolly and a utility dolly. When I arrived to this location I was informed that the furniture dolly and pads were not available at this location- I was given the option of having these items removed from my bill or driving several miles out of my way to go pick them up at a different location owned by the same owner. If I had wanted these items removed I would not have reserved them in the first place so I ended up driving to pick them up which was a waste of my time and because of this the moving help I had arranged had to sit around and wait for me to arrive 30 min late.

The uhaul dealer is a super guy! Very friendly and helpful. This location needs to offer uhaul supplies, like moving blankets, boxes, etc.

The store the branch is located in is fine. It's clean and well run, by all appearances. The truck itself was clean and in perfect working order. However, instead of paperwork to fill out at the location, I was handed a phone and had to give my personal information to the person at the other end. I did not like having to speak my credit card information, as well as my name and birth date, out loud in a store full of people. I have rented many trucks from U-Haul and other companies, but I have never had to do this. I won't be returning to that location in the future.

Truck was ok--not super clean (mats were dirty, some small trash here and there--nothing major, though). Certainly usable. Interesting location--out of a tobacco store (it was a Sunday afternoon, so I went online to find open locations). Overall, it was fine, with no complications.

I rent 2 times per month. I'm scheduled again Sunday but I'm trying to find other options. The truck was beat up. Very loud. Gas guzzler. And the worst part I had yo put air fresheners in the back because it smelled like wet dog.

The clerk was very friendly and helpful, our only complaint was that we were charged for gas even though we filled it past the 5/8 mark right before returning it, so there's no way it needed a gallon and a half that we were charged. The cargo van was brand new though, which made us happy as we were using it to move new furniture.

The engine light was on in the vehicle and the brakes were practically to the floor. The clerk over charged me and was beyond rude. I returned the equipment because it was in poor condition and now I have to wait DAYS for my refund!! U-Haul you just lost a customer ????

There was no truck at our reserved pickup time. We had to wait around till someone returned one almost an hour later. We had multiple people waiting at our home to help us move all waiting around because there was no truck. The reservation was made well in advance, no notification of a delay or problem was communicated to us until we showed up on time to get the truck. Horrible customer service. The truck itself was clean and reliable.

I picked up the van with 1 tick over the 1/4 tank and went less than 30 miles could not figure out where the tank was even though I stopped at a gas station so I brought the van back and was charged over $ 40.00 for gas. I know it wasn't their fault at the store however this was crazy to pay over $ 1.00 a mile just for gas. I understand charging me however the gas tank wasn't filled where I told it would be. I even spoke with the person before I gave it back he should have made me aware of the charge - he could have told me not just want is written.

Not put holds on credit cards & than be told nothing will go thru until you return vehicle. To than look on your credit card n see the hold is there & taken out, & as well as the real price that you were charged. And than be told the hold will come off after 2-3 business days? Whats up with that? If thats the case just charge me from the door what it might be & deduct it from that or add if its less or more. Dont have 2 fees come off my card. Thats just crazy to me. Uhaul has no problem taking my money when im told it wont come off, till afterreturn truck. Not!! But yet i have to wait 2-3 days for it come off? Wth... Smh. Only disappointment with this...
