The Truck was given to me dirty The Uhaul associate didn't have a printer to print my invoice
William CToo small of a parking lot to get equipment returned. Store owner had to move 3 Uhaul trucks so I could park a 5×8 trailer.There were other facilities much closer to my destination.

I was stressing about taking it back to park in that tight spot with a 26’ truck.. there’s a uhaul store 5 mins a way that is absolutely better. This store didn’t have my requested dollys so I had to go to the other store as well. I loved Anna at this location I just could stress with getting another uhaul from this store again.

YVETTE MThe people at the location did not correctly connect my trailer to the hitch and it detached on the Coronado bridge. It was a really dangerous situation. I shared this with other people that I talked to at U-Haul on the phone that day and they could care less. I assume this response will garner the same reaction, making it a total waste of time.

He declined to provide a receipt at the time of check in and returned checked in the trucks that I rented late and charge my an additional day along with fees that I did not agree to our authorize.

The lady was so rude and had absolutely no customer service, not even a hello, thank you, you’re welcome, have a good day, nothing. If I didn’t absolutely need a truck, I would have not rented it. 100/100 DO NOT RECOMMEND. I will never ever be back. The drop off process was very pleasant though. We just had to drop off the key in the box, it was great!

David JIt was fine only I was charged for fuel when I returned the equipment with the fuel to the line indicated prior to rental. I will not be using this service again.

herry hI been using U-Haul for a couple times it’s always been great but this time, it wasn’t they trying to charge me $1,300 for 4 hours rental that’s a lot of money! It doesn’t make any sense? Are you guys trying to ripping me off that’s very ridiculous
Jorge APlease check if the rental equipment is inside the truck, and check on your vehicle because the gas cap was coming off when I was trying to refuel the truck

Jeff RAt first the lady was nice. When it came time to go check out the trailer, my brother noticed it was missing a pin. (He’s a farmer and deals with trailers all the time). She was rude with him saying he was wrong and there was never any pin. He asked about safety and all she could say was “we do this everyday”.

Susan Hthe passenger side mirror is broken and that is a safety hazard. I almost got hit because it kept moving no matter how many times i tried to set it. The engine light was on the entire time. The woman behind the county was pleasant. She was very busy because it was the first of the month. I brought back the vehicle with 1/4 tank but didn't get credit for it as I picked it up empty. This was after I received a text morning of pick up that the location had been changed, and I would receive a call from a specific telephone number that never happened.
KGTV PUhaul was damaged and it took hours to check out despite using the app.

SABRINA JPlease be more careful about accurately recording the fuel levels as vehicles are picked up and dropped off. My contract clearly stated that my vehicle came with 1/4 of a tank of fuel when in reality it was almost on empty with only 21 miles to drive until empty per the vehicle computer. This was surprising to me when I returned because I filled it up to a higher level than what I actually picked it up with ( fuel )

BILLIE JThis area does not feel safe. Plus, there was barely room for this size truck, and it's far from the city. We followed your video instructions to return the truck and then the owner came out and scolded us for dropping the keys in the slot. Then tonight we randomly drove by a much closer location and couldn't understand why we hadn't been told to leave the truck there.

Haeli WThey made my first experience very easy and everything was understandable to use. Made a 2 person job a lot simpler than it would have been if I didn't use a uhaul and their equipment. More than other rentals offered that are of the same caliber.

susantha WWould've liked to have had more options in the San Diego area. We considered having a hitch installed on 2nd SUV and renting another u-haul as well but the options were too limited.
Cheryl HI reserved a pickup truck. When I arrived, they said they didn't have one on site. They had to rent me a much more expensive 15 foot truck. When I got into the truck, it was EXTREMELY dirty. There was literally mud all over the bottom of the cab, it had not been cleaned ever. It smelled and it was uncomfortable sitting in a cab that dirty. The check engine light was also on the entire time and it kept stalling upon acceleration. Really ridiculous.
Andrea NThe UHaul person suggested two locations behind the market to drop the trailer, both of which were difficult to back into. A third party individual visiting the market actually helped me back into the better of the two locations for the drop-off. Afterwards, I was told by the UHaul person, that was all I needed to do. There was no receipt for drop-off given. Later, I called a central UHaul phone number to follow-up on the drop-off and make sure I got a emailed receipt.

tony gMy overall U-Haul experience was negative. I received a call the night before I was moving that my truck wasn’t available, so I had to call during my work hours to resolve that issue. Then when I got to the pick up location, the female employee was telling me the dolly wasn’t included in my order; this ordeal made me late to start my move thus causing me to pay my movers more and delaying my move. Upon returning of the rentals, the male employee yelled at me for putting the keys in the drop box even though the app instructed me to do so. He then told me to move the truck and make it straighter. I reminded him that I had just returned the keys. He then started yelling in a different language, threw his hands up and walked away. It was a stressful, frustrating and discouraging experience altogether.

EVEN AFTER I SHOWED THE RESERVATION CONFIRMATION SHE SAIS OH WELL WE WILL DON'T HAVE THE TRUCK AND YOUR RESERVATION ISN'T UNTIL 10AM. SO O THEN ASKED HER DOES THAT MEAN THE TRUCK WILL BE THERE AT 10? AND SHE ANSWERED I DON'T KNOW, AS LONG S THEY TURN IT ON IT WILL BE. SHE WAS VERY RUDE, BLUNT AND NOT COMPASSIONATE OR HELPFUL AT ALL. I CALLED THE U HAUL CUSTOMER SERVICE WHILE STANDING AT THE COUNTER WITH HER TO BE PUT ON HOLD FOR 61 MINUTES.. WHILE ON HOLD THE TRUCK WAS BRIGHT BACK BY THE PREVIOUS CUSTOMER SHE SAID AFTER SHE LIVED IT I COULD CHECK IT OUT. SO I WATCHED HER CLIMB IN THE TRUCK TAKE PICTURES WITH HER PHONE, GET OUT AND WALK BACK IN TO HER STORE. WHICH MADE ME EVEN MORE LIVID BECAUSE DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID PANDEMIC THERE WAS ZERO SAFETY PRECAUTIONS TAKEN THE TRUCK HAD WEEKS OF DUST ON THE DASHBOARD,STEERING WHEEL,STEREO,ETC , NOTHING WAS WIPED DOWN, SPRAYED,ETC. AND THROUGHOUT THIS WHOLE TIME I WAS STILL ON HOLD WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVENTUALLY OVER AN HOUR LATER THEY FINALLY ANSWERED AND I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER WHO SAID ANOTHER MANAGER WOULD BE CALLING ME THIS WEEK.!!!! LASTWEEK I RENTED 4 TRUCKS AND MY HUSBAND RENTED TWO SO 6 TRUCKS ALTOGETHER AND EVERY SINGLE ONE HAS BEEN THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE THAN THE ONE BEFORE IT. PRUOR TO THIS MOVE I HAVEN'T HAD A U HAUL IN YEARS AND AFTER IT I HOW I NEVER NEED ONE AGAIN. SIGNED, A VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

Not to mention I drove maybe 20 ft and the battery was dead and I continued having the same issue, until I had contacted a manager if another location and he had a serviceman come and replace the battery entirely

JOEL LI was charged a cleaning fee but it was not dirty. I was also charged for a 10gallon refill that was to 3/4 full tank but when I received the truck it only had 1/4 tank and I took a picture of this on the initial inspection and submitted it. So not sure why I was charged for more gas than I even used!
