The absolute worst service experience ever. I've used Uhaul several times, this was so unorganized and they charged me for things I did not ask for. U Haul's customer service also did not call me back and ended up charging my card anyways. There was no customer service existent in this whole transaction. I've used Uhaul several times just fine and this was just awful all around.

When I picked up the vehicle, the person that helped me explained how the rental worked, the vehicle had to be cleaned and gas levels where they were when I picked the vehicle up, I did all the things required before returning the vehicle. The truck had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up, I took a picture of the dashboard before I left the lot, had to gas up before my trip back to Austin. Gased up again before returning the truck , with the gas being a little over 1/4 however after moving all day I failed to take a picture of the dashboard again before returning it and was charged 63 bucks for gas. I don’t have proof because I forgot to snap a picture. The guy that assisted with the return never went out to check the vehicle with me after he finally found me in the system he checked the truck in, not giving me a receipt and tried to keep the one from pickup. I checked my account the next morning and found that I had been charged for insufficient gas, and I’m pretty upset about it because he lied. Not sure if I can get my money back due to lack of evidence. I will never refer the establishment to anyone they are not honest.

We were overcharged by $35 and it took 30 minutes for us to get the key because they weren’t sure how the check out process worked.
