Francisco JI rented a van, and when I arrived, they didn’t have a van. During the pickup process, I was waiting and on hold with U-Haul for 45 mins because the app wouldn’t work. Then, I was flagged for late pickup when I was more than on time. The process was just terrible. After getting that resolved, I’m told at the counter they don’t have any vans… Like how you let me reserve something you don’t have. Then, all they had were big trucks. I’m a lady and was nervous driving that big ole truck. Then, I was charged $20 more for the upgrade, which I didn’t reserve or need, and they failed to proceed with my reservation price bc I had to upgrade and I didn’t have the option of waiting another day because it was my last day to move out of my apartment. I didn’t even fill a 1/4 of the truck with my stuff because I didn’t need that big truck and was told I had to refill for usage, and the wheel in the truck seemed to be dysfunctional, just shaking and turning at its own power. Poor equipment and service from U-Haul. I don’t blame the third-party location at all.
