The hitch had one section clip would stay in place on the screw down to ball of hitch...had to stop at another uhaul when could not get it to clip in...girl there helped me at 7 cote ave hanmer ontario. Also there was a broken bumper cushion on one corner on outside of trailer...not sure if important ...and not sure if licence plate should have current province on it and current sticker...but licence plate was from Pennsylvania and sticker read 5/17...so outdated for sure!!

Tried to change drop off to site closer to us but trying to get thru on telephone was impossible. First rep was great but all she could do was answer the phone and direct the call. Again don't know how you became so big when customer service is not very good.

Everything related to this location was good. My only problem was that my original reservation at U Haul was cancelled the night before pick-up. This was very stressful! Fortunately, the lady on the phone located and booked me this alternate vehicle/ location

Hello, I rented a Cargo Van on Thursday 24th september. Because our project was cancelled we did not use it at all. The Uhal centre was in front of our house. We just used it for 300 meter. You can check my home address and compare it. Now I see he charged us for fuel. The kilometer also does not show the right number since we used it for 300 meter. He charged us a lot since we did not use it at all. The behaviour of the person who worked for Uhaul was not friendly. We have rented many times but usually they show you the car and show you the kilometer number and fuel tank number but he did not do that. I am really upset about the bill price since the price is not actual. He marked the wrong kilometer number and he also marked the wrong fuel number. This happened for the first time for us. Overall experience was good. Except I couldn't find the dolly or blankets I paid for inside. Also there was a busted up tail gate from a pick up truck laying inside for some reason.

Tommys Car Wash was excellent to deal with. Trailer smelled like an old ash tray...horrible cigarette smoke smell. Took away from an otherwise excellent rental experience.

Vehicle very clean and mechanically sound. Wonderful news for UHaul. Improvements: U-haul uniform for employees. Had a ok experience, the worker pleasant. But, he was dressed in street cloths, so you could not tell him from another person on the lot. Worker should be a focal point and be easily identifiable I would think- maybe try UHaul Hats? The conversion from SI to imperial to finalize costs. Vehicle had speedometer with both SI and Imperial, but when finalizing costs, there is a surprise as the .69/km is calculated in miles. This should be much more clearly stated- larger lettering or a disclaimer saying so. Canada uses SI!!! 3. Local trips - does UHaul really Need to charge A flat fee of $125.00 I rented a truck for 30 min and went 14 miles, I think for these small trips, there does not have to be a flat fee of $125.00 that's excessive and as a consumer, that really bothered me. Then, 30 minutes later, I had to reconcile the costs - and of course the issue of vehicles using imperial measure comes up. This needs to be addressed. 4. Vehicle spotless and mechanically sound, that was terrific, the store front was less than desired. Looks and feels like a mechanics shop. Overall- given the choice - I would not recommend UHaul!! There has to be a focus on the customer - After this rental, I really felt UHaul is not focused on the customer. Very Unfortunate.? Re-assess your corporate vision again- The experience that I had must have come from UHaul corporate values. I would not recommend UHaul

I have returned the equipment two days ahead of schedule but the self check-out would not work. Got charged for two days of extra use although the equipment was already returned. The dealer indicated he sent me the details via email but failed to do so. Spent hours trying to speak to someone at the 1-800 number with no success. When the dealer finally opened, he simply told me he "had no time for this" and hung up the phone on me. In summary: rude, not helpful in the slightest, and unprofessional when compared to other U-Haul dealers I have interacted in the past.

The man at the counter was not wearing a mask, in a tiny interior location where 2m distance was not feasible to maintain. Later, when we returned half an hour before the listed closing time to pick up the tow dolly, they had closed, and we had to install the tow dolly without assistance or guidance.

Interior not the cleanest, something on the front seat cushion, empty cigarette package under the passenger seat. Vehicle wasn't ready when I initially went to pick it up, had to go back the next day. Overall experience wasn't terrible but it wasn't perfect. Thanks!

The only comment I have is that we brought it back a day early and was supposed to be refunded, and still hasn't be refunded to my credit card.

This time there was no additional charge on my bill therefore, I am satisfied with the service. Last time, I have bad experience with this location and I was charged for gas even though the gas level was more than it should be. I believe service level is increased as compare to the last time and there is no doubt about that.

The parking lot is huge, but it was completely full. I had to use a spotter to squeeze a 26 footer into a place. Also still unsure as to why I had to deliver the rental to a town 20 minutes away from my house when I rented the vehicle from the uhaul dealer right next to my house. And the vehicle was parked beside my house for almost a week previous so it's not like it was borrowed from another dealer. Confused to say 5hw least. But the truck ran well and I had not issues there

There is a risk of Back Injury when putting on the trailer on the latch and removing it, since the only way is to manually lifting the front end up.

I returned my truck with the SAME amount of gas that was in it when I rented in Bradford - only to get charge MORE for gas! Not impressed. I - myself, viewed the gas level when I got into the truck right after I started it. I was not given a sheet of paper with the amount on it, I had to make sure I knew what it was before I moved the truck for this reason & how I know it was the same. I was charged $37.00 for gas on top of this! I call bs on this amount & that it even required the gas. I did not get the truck FULL tank & I returned the truck with the SAME amount! I was ripped off at the end. I was also charged extra for returning the truck on the date required. NOT MY FAULT this location was not open at the time. I am NOT happy with all the extra charges totaling about $170.00 extra. NOT IMPRESSED. Customer rip off when you have the credit card & can add at whim these extra charges. I won't be renting again from Uhaul in light of this & I have spent a lot of money with Uhaul recently. Shame to treat a good customer like this.

The last person who rented it left the window open and the inside of the door and seat were soaking wet inside as it was raining. The person who rented it to me had no smile, seemed bored, hard to understand, not exceptional customer service. Website for return after hours did not work, said I did not have any reservations. When I afterwards read what I signed, I realized I hadn't gotten all the paperwork I was supposed to get.

Drop off agent is not a people person and has what appears to be a chip on his shoulder. Not especially friendly, maybe he was having a bad day. Maybe I expected a general politeness that isn't possible these days.

The vehicle was a relatively new model and in good shape but had not been cleaned inside the cab. Not a big issue, however during the COVID19 pandemic it would have been nice to know it was at least cleaned after the last rental.
