It took 30 minutes to check in my equipment when i arrived even though I did all the things before and my phone. The lady there seemed she doesn’t know what she’s doing. Dropping off the vehicle was a nightmare.

SHEU SI don't agree with this transaction. The amount charge is outrageous and was calculated without my agreement. The first van I took was returned back immediately because my cargo did not fit into the van. The lady told me to take a bigger van without ending the transaction for the first van. To my surprise, I got a 50 kilometers and $95.89 debit for the first van which was returned immediately, more so, the gas I bought was never used in the first van because I came back to change the van. Usually, a U HAUL staff will follow the customer to look at the necessary indications before ending the transaction, in the case nobody followed me to check the beginning mileage and ending mileage. She just entered whatever mileage she wanted to defraud me of my money. The second van I took to eventually move my cargo was also over estimated, When I returned the van, she was on her way to pick her daughter from school. She refused to come and check the beginning and closing mileage with me so we can agree on it based on the pictures I took at the beginning of the trip. I got a second debit of $189.19 for 114 kilometers trip. I demand a refund for the first trip with I never did because the van was too small for my cargo.

CHANDRARATHNA MLocation 2400 Finch Ave. West. North York, Tostam Event Rental. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon receiving the truck, I noticed that there were no documents provided regarding the insurance or vehicle ownership. This left me unsure about what to do in case I was stopped by the police or involved in an accident. It would be extremely helpful if U-Haul could provide clear written instructions for drivers in these situations. Additionally, I found several issues with the truck itself: 1.- The windshield wiper was damaged and worn out, making it difficult to drive in rainy conditions and when vehicles in front splashed dirt and melting snow. 2.- The outside mirrors were not working, and I was unable to adjust them. When I asked the employee about this, he had no idea how to adjust them. 3.- When I arrived to pick up the truck, I was initially offered a vehicle that was completely blocked by a large pile of snow and ice (approximately 50 cm high). Due to this, I was unable to take the original truck, and I was given a different one, which unfortunately was in worse mechanical condition. 4.- When returning the truck after hours, I faced even more frustration. There was no available parking space for the vehicle, and private cars were parked behind others, blocking any potential access. The parking area was in poor condition and needed significant improvement. I strongly believe that this location needs to be INSPECTED by U-Haul, and the employee should be better trained in basic vehicle operations. The lack of a designated parking area for returning trucks after hours is also a major concern and should be addressed immediately. As much as I needed the truck, I will not return to this location in the future. I hope U-Haul takes these issues seriously and works to improve the quality of service at this location. JOSE GI reserved a cargo van, they gave it to someone else, but still under my phone number and email. I had to find a new rental, and got sent to pharmacy and finch. I will never recommend this location to anyone.

HARGOBIND sCustomer service is horrible. Truck had filthy cup holders and floors were really muddy. Upon arrival my reservation took over 1.5 hours waiting for the owner to arrive at the store to give me the truck. Why was I charged so much??

cecil eThe lady wouldn't give me the truck because she wanted it returned same day, even thought the truck has been registered one way. So basically it took me hour from my appointment time to get the truck. After I spoke with corporate and corporates manager had to call her to release the vehicle.
Duvaraka ROwner was rude and had no idea what paperwork I needed, truck had multiple check engine lights on and felt very unsafe on even smaller roads. The unit has an address but the specific store front is unlabeled and was almost impossible to find. The truck also had a giant metal plate missing in the bed that was open to the road,I had to put plywood over it so rain water wouldn't splash up and soak all my stuff, or worse, things inside falling right down on the road. Terrible experience from a particularly terrible rental company.
Marcello DI booked for shifting my stuff from Toronto to London way in advance with a drop off option in London. They threw me under the bus last moment, changing my order to have the truck returned to Toronto instead. was a double journey for me. very disappointed with the experience.

She came 40 mins late then she changed my bookings according to her, as i was already 40 mins late i rushed to do my work with the uhaul and then after finishing my job i returned ur uhaul back and she gave me long bill, showing things that i never even opted for or informed about. I need my refund back plus compensation for 40 mins waiting.

MICHAEL JThis location needs to actually properly provide custmer service as well as clean the vehicle. The vehicle I use was extremely dirty and the vehicle actually felt like it needs to be checked by a mechanic. This was the worst experience I had ever had at uhaul

Dennis Awe had to wait for 40 minutes to pick up the van. I ordered for 3 days rental she made the agreement for 2 days. When we went to return we had to wait 1 hour. The shop is always closed. Store hours are open till 7 p.m .we went at 11.30 .m.closed, 12 pm closed. No phone call or messages are answered. very poor service.
Tushar JThere is a lack of communication between UHAUL and Tostam rental location. Tostam claims they are closed on Sunday but UHAUL setup the pickup point at said location on Sunday. It took 1 hour to figure out Tostam rental did not have documentation for the reservation even though a reservation code and valid pickup information was presented to them. The truck itself showed an engine light within 5 minutes of first startup at a standstill.

RAVIKUMAR RI was waiting for 2 hours to after completing my whole process in mobile phone. Shop owner was not there to give me the keys and i was calling so many times in uhaul customer services. Afterthat, they told me that they will give me reimbursement but they gave me nothing and moreover they charge extra charges then normal. I never had this much bad experience with any other company. This is the first time i book uhaul and this is the worst one in my life though.

Had to wait 40 min for the manager to do my booking, and the manager didnt at all ask for my confirmation of all the different coverages before adding it, even though clearly mentioning that I require none. Even after the booking was done, location manager wasnt at all ready to correct their mistake and remove the coverage. On top of it the customer service representative manager from the U haul call center with whom I talked on 4th January 2022 was rude and not at all ready to hear my situation and plainly told me that the previous call center representative who directed my call to him clearly gave me misinformation, as if the call center manager wants the customer to figure out all the information by himself and have ZERO expectations of correct information from both the location manager and handlers and even have ZERO expectations of right information from call center representative. The torture of bad experience didn't end here. On the day of returning vehicle, even though I returned the key and vehicle right at 545pm on 5th Jan and had to wait for almost an hour till the store manager arrived until then a 14 year old kid with no information was handeling the desk. Althoug the vehicle was returned right well before time the location manager registered the time of return wrongly and wasnt at all willing to correct the issue resulting in me being charged twice the amount even though I returned the vehicle on time. Thanks to the customer rep with whom I talked on 5th Jan, who finally help me solve the problem In short I will never ever return back to Uhual, it was the worst experience, out of my wildest imagination. But I hope my feedback helps other clients and they dont habe to go through the same.
