The equipment that was selected online wasn't all there but to be honest that turned out to be a benefit as I didn't need one piece so I saved money. At first the employee seemed annoyed that I was asking questions but ultimately they got me what I needed and the record was correct (only being charged for what I used). I made a reservation for 8am. I go there and I'm told the lady who handles rentals isn't coming til 9am. I waited around til 9 and the cashier said he called her and she's still at home. They ended up taking care of it without her. The tank was less than 3/4 full in the truck. I barely drive it but put $20 in the tank and returned it. I now see that I've been charged $93 somehow. The whole experience was a total joke and I'd like to be forwarded a receipt so I can see how I'm being charged $93. They couldn't give me one at the location for some reason. If it's for fuel I'm going to go in there and demand it be taken off my bill. How in the hell does someone make a reservation for 8 and can't be given a key til 9:15?Kevin M.

This experience was terrible overall. The uhaul itself was fine, but the check out and check in process was miserable!!! First, when i resereved the truck i reserved it for the Dunkirk location. Then I got a call that they couldn't do it there and they asked us to switch it to the owings location. THEN i got an email that sent me a confirmation for a third location in hungtingtown! So after switching the location 3 times, I get another notification on my phone saying that the car was now available for pickup at the dunkirk location. Talk about giving the run around! It got worse from there. I reserved a furniture dolly and another dolly. When we went to pick it up, they did not have any of the dollys I paid for. My husband had to argue with them to get the dollys and finally did. When we get home, we notice they gave us the WRONG dollys. We needed the furniture one, not the appliance one! So we had to make due lugging furniture with a dolly that wasn't equipped for the task which made things so difficult. But still it gets worse...when we go to turn in our truck after hours through the app, the app requires us to padlock the dollys in the back of the truck...except we were never provided a padlock! It was after hours so no one was there to help. We couldn't just leave it in the truck unlocked because if it was stolen we would be held liable for hundreds of dollars! It took us an hour of holding on the phone line to get a hold of customer service who finally told us to just stick it in the front seat and lock it there. There were no instructions on where to drop off the keys, took forever to find the dropbox. Overall the customer service and experience was terrible from start to finish! I HATED it and wish I could get my money back for the dolly they never provided that I paid for.Matthew M.

We were supposed to given a 10% military discount. When we returned the truck the computer system was down. The rep siad he will email us the recipt. When we got the reciept he forgot to honor the military discount. When we called asking them to update the invoice to reflect the discount he said he could not but to call coorperate to get them to fix it. We called corporate twice on 25 July and waited for over 30 on hold until the U-haul line abruptly disconnected us after telling us to call back at slower time. Not happy at all with the customer service. The $98.00 truck ended up costing us over $250 after mileage was added in. Will not rent from u-haul again to pick up furniture locally. but the check out person was having computer problemsBrian G.

No ac in the truck which really sucked. It had some garbage under the set, had a cup between the cab and box little things they missed. Lady cashier was rude. There a was a longer hair guy there both days and he rang me in and out which was great. If it wasnt for him the experience would have been even more horrible.James S.

There was no electrical connection available to reach my tow vehicle. In order to connect to the electrical connection on the rented u-haul trailer the borrower would have to have a jump cord of about 4 feet long to reach from the electrical connection on the rented item to reach the back of their tow vehicle. Poor planning if you planned on towing the u-haul trailer after dark. ;o(Wayne L.
Notify the next customer of any changes in reservations in a better time frame. Trailer was not cleaned out, the staff at the gas station made it seem like I was an inconvenience for renting a trailer. Another issue is that not all staff is not trained on how to handle Uhaul rentals therefor I had to wait for a clerk that was qualified to handle the rental process. When I returned the trailer to the same location another employee proceeded to say F*** a Uhaul rental when I was trying to return the trailer. I will no longer use this facility for any future Uhaul rental or will Uhaul be first on my list to rent from again.Tommy S.

When UHaul revises pickup location include a note that the location HAS been revised. We were notified of a pickup location that was other than the one I had requested but the notification made no mention that this was a revision, so I was concerned that it was a mistake. Then all of the contact phone numbers I received from UHaul were either unanswered or unavailable. Very confusing.Victor S.

I rented a 6' x 12' enclosed trailer, which was extremely heavy, and had no tongue jack/stand. This made hitching the trailer up extremely difficult, straining my back prior to needing to move dozens of boxes and household goods. Not an ideal situation for most of Uhaul's clientele.Robert S.
