Erik SheelerI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my most recent Uhaul experience. I originally booked a 10 foot box truck for the dates 7/31/23 - 8/2/23. I was notified on 7/30/23 that the truck I requested would not be available but that I could get a 15 foot truck from a different location instead. The address that was given to me by the Uhaul representative when they changed my reservation was incorrect and I spent time driving in circles trying to spot this Uhaul location that wasn’t there. After realizing the mistake, I found the correct address and made it to the location late. I get the truck back to my house and load it up with no issue. About an hour into my drive the check engine light starts flashing and I loose the ability to accelerate while traveling down the interstate. I pull over on the shoulder and get my dog and I out of the car for safety reasons. Unfortunately the forecast was for rain and scattered thunderstorms, so my dog and I had to sit on the side of the highway in the rain while I waited for a callback from Uhaul. I am notified that the service provider is going to take 1 hour to get to me. After standing for over an hour in the rain the service provider finally shows up to tow away the Uhaul because it is not repairable roadside. They drop me off in town and we set a drop off location for the Uhaul the next morning. When the Uhaul gets to us and we start to open the door our belongings start to pour out of the back. Putting the fully loaded Uhaul up on an angle for towing had undone all the hard work we did to pack things neatly and securely. There was broken glass items and cosmetic products had been damaged and leaked onto boxes. We also had perishables in the back of the truck that went bad because we were initially only anticipating a 2.5 hour drive. The unloading process was made much more difficult and tedious by the mess that was made when towing the truck. This experience with Uhaul was stressful and inconvenient. I paid good money and received a faulty product and some less than ideal service. I am wondering if there is any form of recourse to take here?
Troy ParmeterAll services were extremely well. Equipment is in good working condition and maintained well. Customer service was very nice and friendly. Couldn’t have had a better experience renting a U-haul car trailer from my local dealer.

Susan RayElectronic pickup process is terrible! 1. Requirement for two contacts, passport or other proof is ridiculous and rude. Takes too long. The person/people that called my wife and daughter were brisk and rude, hanging up as soon as they got needed info. 2. Interfacing with camera was challenging, mine was linked to chrome not safari.
