CLARENCE JOur experience was decent however I was charged a fuel fee and fuel charge when the truck was given to us on empty. Employee did not do an inspection, the previous renter left the truck on empty and I was forced to cover the additional cost of $78. Frustrating I called U-Haul customer service and because I didn’t take a picture for proof they couldnt do anything.

GEORGE DThe dolly and half the moving pads were not in the truck. The gentleman at the facility, when I called, continued to tell me that I was calling the wrong location. He told me he had no record of the truck being rented, and had no record of my name and number. He told me I could come pick up the don't but I needed to show my contract. When I arrived he said he found the reservation and gave me some excuse of working at multiple locating and not having access to that location. And $63 for 1/8 of a tank of gas is a little excessive.

Clemente FIt was the easiest and best experience we’ve ever had renting a U-Haul truck. Fran made the process SUPER easy!! She is definitely an asset to your company. She changed my thoughts completely about U-Haul. I had a really bad experience in the past and I decided to give it one more try since it was closer to my house and I’m glad I did!! I will continue to only rent them from Fran @the Dewey location anytime I need one and will DEFINITELY recommend that location to family and friends. Thanx a lot U-Haul and especially Fran. Napoleon MWhen I rented the uhaul, the person who helped me had me initial all of the walk around checks in the office, I didn’t know this until the next day when I tried to report that the truck had a quarter of a tank of gas when I picked it up, not half. I have a picture with a time stamp of mileage and gas but still was told since I signed off that there’s really nothing I can do. I feel that it’s messed up to not have the customer walk around before they leave. It shows the trucks aren’t checked between customers.
Frankie MThe truck was missing the ramp so it made it extremely unsafe and difficult to load and unload especially with the heavy equipment that needed moving !! Very disappointed with that!!! Manager Jason is the coolest guy I have ever met. He did everything he could to make my dreaded eviction move a bit brighter and made me smile several times. Keep him he is very knowledgeable and very caring for customer satisfaction!!!! Had some problem with the gate access , was supposed to be 24 hour but got trapped inside for 4-1/2 hours before metro police came to open the gate. After hours numbers from emergency line did not work either!!! Very frustrating to loose crucial time with moving team waiting for us to return and couldn’t!!!

Amy HI specifically choose this location because it had all the equipment I needed when booking. Upon arrival, there was no equipment - no appliance dolly, no dolly, no furniture dolly and no 2 x dozen sheets which resulted in making my move that much harder.
