The lady on duty did nothing to help us. She seemed very disinterested in her job. She also stated that she would email a copy of the receipt when she checked the truck in and I never received an email from her. An additional charge appeared on my credit card, when I called, during business hours, to ask about the charge, no one ever answered the phone. I called the 800 number and received an explanation of the charge immediately.LISA R.
My return was for 10/31 at 9:00a.m. which is when they opened and I arrived about ten minutes to opening ready to wait and a lady came out and said we're not open we will email you the receipt and I said I don't mind waiting until you open since it was a few minutes. She just reiterated we will email you the receipt. I thought that was fine since I wasn't over the miles and gas was ok. To see I was charged an extra $77 was a pretty shady transaction. My drop off was for 9 a.m. I was there waiting for them to open. I didn't ask her to come outside. To charge me and extra day and put my check in time randomly at 11:30a.m. It is shady, dishonest and crooked. I was there at 8:50 a.m at least be factual if you're gonna be shady.Christina M.

The technology that was asked of me to use for check out and check in was not working. Lots of bugs. This location was not my original reserved location, it was 3635 S Fort Apache Rd Ste 200 Las Vegas, NV 89147. Unfortunately, the truck was not available at 0830 and it was not available at 0945. The attendant at this location offered for me to go to a different location (6995 W Dewey Dr) and that it was only a few minutes away. So I paid for an UBER to take me there, unfortunately, the ride was not a few minutes away it was 20 minutes away. This became a big problem, as I had my overall mileage calculated a certain amount based on the original location. The new location added 20 miles to my overall trip. The attendant at 3635 S Fort Apache said we would get a $50.00 credit, unfortunately, I believe they should pay for the mileage as well.Mildred R.

When I get there the door was closed ando one one in there, I need wait over 14 minutes , then 2 lady's open the doors and they started tally each other like I wasn't there, they say the internet was off and i need to wait another 20 minutes , when finally I get the key the car was was empty gas, I need put $25 gas from my money same I never get back! The truck is very ran down and sounds like the transmission is winding up. I was feeling a little worried as if it was going to never sift gears. The brakes all felt like they grabbed a time or two. The brakes were squeaking as few times. I have rented several trucks from U-Haul and this has to be the worst of them all. I also ordered a furniture dolly which I didn't received. So made the move a little bit more difficult. Not to mention I was charged for something I didn't get. Also I have 4 charges on my account from Town Storage Dewey Rainbow / U-Haul. One for $19.24 on June 2nd, another charge for $87.43, then one for $65.28 and finally one for $27.89. My total should be $181-.30 but it looks like the total charge is $200.54. There isn't a charge on the receipt for $19.24. I am confused?Leah C.

I made a reservation through an authorized dealer. Showed up to pick the uhaul. The safe move coverage was added without being asked if I wanted it or not. Is this standard to add it without asking the customer? I thought I was just getting the 19.99 Uhaul + the $.99 per mile. U-haul gave me the opportunity to sign up on line. I specifically checked no insurance . But of course they sneakily check it for ya and collect that extra $14 on the customer 19.99 per day for a ten foot truck. I drive a total 30 miles and final Bill of 61$. Such a scam of a deal. Will look elsewhere next time disappointed with the unfairness of the sneak attacks to get ur moneySCOTT TROY M.

The experience overall was pleasant however I was not properly informed of the equipment. I explained to the rep we were moving appliances and rented the dolly BUT the rep did not tell us that 10 foot trucks do not have ramps! We drove the truck 1 mile and returned it with 2 miles and still had to pay AND we still have to rent another truck to complete the job?!? That didn't make me happy. Location is sketchy with people hanging out in storage units after hours. Apparently our trailer wasn't maintained well because the tire lost at least 1/5 of the tread during our trip and we had to have a replacement put on.
