Anmolpreet SinghOn Feb 10 I rented a truck for 48 hrs. I was told return time was 8pm. I dropped truck off at 5:45 Feb 11. On Feb 12 I received my receipt and was checked in at 7 am Feb 12 and charged a $20 Late fee. I sent a screenshot with timestamp of the mileage that I had sent when I returned truck. Clearly showing 5:45. I received no reply. I left it as I knew I was renting again Feb 24. Upon arrival I enquired about overcharge. I was told they would credit me $20 on the days rental. I dropped the truck off early again and a few hours later received notice that the charges for U-Haul totalling $204.73 was approved. I had been charged a wrong drop off fee. I contacted them immediately and they said oh we didn’t do that. We will get it corrected. It was corrected but I still have not received the $20 credit for the first rental. These are the only 2 times I have ever rented from U-Haul and they will be the last. There is zero reason during a move that I should have several hundred dollars tied up in errors on my credit card. Also the drop off location below is not where I rented the truck from nor where I was told to drop it off it was dropped off and picked up from same location both rentals.
Laurie Diottetruck smelt bad the side window was broken to begin with.. and poor customer service manager had to come from his house to talk to us at the office..? my debit card was charged a 125.00 flat charge, as if it was a credit card payment on HOLD, they said it was only pending but it was taken out. otherwise they sent me on my way with a customer service number even though there was a charge made at their office just prior!?..

Stephane LabieWe rented a trailer. When we opened it at the U-Haul location, it was obvious no one had looked inside it beforehand. There was a large flat panel tv sitting in it. In any case, the staff were excellent!!! We could not get our break lights and turn signals working on the trailer. One of your staff members fixed the issue and we were on our way. Great job U-Haul!

Dale MahilThe steering wheel super sticky, inside of cab was muddy/visibly just unclean. It smelled funny too. The specific dolly I reserved was not provided- they didby have it. The address is INVALID. The business moved, had to ask people in order to locate new location. Unprofessional environment , and everyone was bewildered why I was there. I had to call U-Haul to get my own reserved truck dispatched. It was smaller than I expected ,Could only complete half of my move. The truck also felt like it was running funny. It would rev incredibly high and would take several seconds to get any speed whatsoever. SCARY.

Dale MahilMy location for pickup was moved to a location that was out of the way for my move. I called and the woman was helpful in getting me somewhere closer. The customer service phone calls were less helpful throughout the day - I I would be on hold and when the person would answer he would be in Edmonton and unable to help.
Allison DymondI was charged a $108 deposit at the time of my rental. He assured me I could come in after the weekend and he would refund my money back to the card. I went in and the man running the location said uhaul had refunded to the card already. It has not been refunded. The bank has no record of any such refund. I cannot get the man running that location on the phone. It picks up and hangs up. My husband then spoke to him and he said he never charged a deposit, which he definitely did. I have all receipts to prove it. I am not impressed. I would appreciate a call asap from someone to get me my deposit back, this is my first negative experience with uhaul, help to resolve the issue would definitely keep me coming back to your service.

Boby MathewWindow was manual and handle kept breaking everytime I wanted to open and close the window. Furthermore, the mirrors were too rusty to adjust.

I forgot the name but it was all good and thanks to him. Kudos to you. (Staff with speech challenges who serve us June 26 between 9am-6pm).

Inderjeet sandhuPEI portion of trip was fine. Unfortunately, upon my arrival in British Columbia, my equipment return experience was an utter disaster due to U-Haul communication failures and ultimately I was horrendously affected and left without any redress I am still on an E-BLOCK and wish to be removed from this immediately! U-Haul took my moving van with all its contents, accused me of 'abandoning' vehicle, being late with my drop-off (even though I reported/registered my late arrival with reservations AND received a confirmation text from U-Haul advising me that equipment wasn't due until Saturday, June 10, 2023. I wasn't able to access my U-Haul 15" moving van due to the "E-BLOCK" and was told I had to speak with U-Haul HQ. I called several times, was told they had to do an investigation and still have not heard a damn thing back. I wish to talk to someone in authority, as I would like to file a complaint and am again asking for my name to be REMOVED from the E-BLOCK notification attached to my file! ALEXANDER STUITI rented the car on May.21 at 9:00am, you given me full 4 days service, I have returned your Car on May23.2023 at 4:30 pm, 2 days early than your return day(May.25.2023), I do not know why you charge me extra day fee? I fuel more over ½ tank, why you charge me extra? U-Haul is a big company, why the drop location use this unprofessional, fraudulence way? I am really not agreeing this over service charge.
catherine liuThe chair for the driver is a little crooked. It's ripped so it leans to the left. This location was great and the people I dealt with there were helpful and knowledgeable. For Uhaul Corporate - the App is not great. It is always a struggle to find the log in to your account page and every time I try to pre-check-in, It kicks me out as soon as I take a picture of my DL. I use Uhaul for work and so I rent a few times per year, every time I have this complaint. Thank you - D

DENNIS HANSENOrdered a truck over a month in advance. Flew in fro Grande Prairie Alberta to Chilliwack BC to move my senior father to Grande Prairie to be with us. Booked a crew to load. House sold so needs to be moved out. Decided to stop by first pick up location I was given the day before to confirm. Told they do. Or do uhaul anymore. Called uhaul. Told you do not have a truck at all for me. Told you only check for an available truck the day before for one way hauls. After some discussion they found a smaller truck (15 foot) in Abbotsford. Had to accept it. Drove 45 minutes to location. No truck. Uhaul rep called me to tell me 15 footer not available. After some discussion found me a 20 footer in Langley. Another 40 minutes of driving and got the truck. The Langley pick up location was fine by the way. The overall experience with uhaul was pathetic and the first person had very little empathy for the fact I had no. Hooves but to move that weekend. Plus all my time and gas to finally get one. Very disappointed.
Daniel BrownellIt seems ridiculous to me, that I booked a pick up and drop off location that suited me, a week in advance. And yet, the day before my trip both locations were changed. There seems to be no point in reserving anything, if uhaul had any competition these business practices would be sorted out in no time. Truly shocking, it became a nightmare of logistics to cover for your (uhauls) last minute changes. I'm never using uhaul again.

Eric duguayMy only issue with this location was the lack of signage as it was somewhat difficult to find. My main complaint is with making the whole process on the phone. I've used uhual for years and this was terrible. Customer service is important and you took that out of the equation. Just not an enjoyable experience.at least have the option to do it the old way cause it was awesome.
Mike ShortI only use this location because they are the closest to me. Otherwise I don't recommend it. Representatives aren't easy to get ahold of. Had to cancel a reservation because nobody was there to process the truck.
Eric duguayNext time the person working there should be there on time and communication should be way better than what it was which was no communication whatsoever where my Uncle waited for about 45 minutes for the employee to show up to even get the uhaul. There was no confirmation the day or 2 before and it required me calling to get it arranged even though it was supposed to be arranged prior to that without me having to chase people down. I also had to pay extra in gas money and my time as my husband to drive our 1 year old and myself to Langley as nobody was there right away to help my Uncle who was picking up the uhaul and driving it for us. I also got charged extra for the kms. I might never use uhaul ever again as this first experience for us with uhaul was not great at all. I hope the service improves! I work in customer service as a supervisor and this is not acceptable service and was very rude service! Thank you

I had asked for a discount but really did not go any where with offering a discount, I needed the trailer that day and could not come back for another

Dean RawlinsI don't think there's anything you can do that would make this a better place for customers in the future. Initially when I walked into the location it was an active automotive repair shop. So it was a major worksafe violation walking into an active shop with no ppe. Also the agent claimed his card reader wasn't working so I had to give him my credit card manually and it felt very scam like and now I have to watch my credit card to make sure it's not being used fraudulently. Then to actually pick up the trailer I had to back my truck up to a hole cut through a chain link fence into a back alley and pick the trailer up next to a bunch of burned out pallets. It was a pretty sketchy situation and a half expected to find homeless people in the back of the trailer. Also the trailer they gave me had faulty wiring. It shorted out and melted during the trip. Overall it was a terrible customer experience.
Timothy VanderhoekTruck wasn't at the right amount of gas for us so we spent extra to refill it only to get charged almost 400$ ontop of the rental fee for it. And was told they would be there for return and they were not.
Kelsey Harlaari was not informed of the 64 cents/km charge!!! Which I know is higher than anyone else. And what the hell is the 'Rental charge'?'??!!!?? added to the the 'rental rate'!!! What i thought would be a $60.00 a day cost ended up being $82.00a day!!! The location also looks like a second rate business!!!

Paolo DAttilioThe trailer I reserved was not there as the person who had it was stuck on the island with it. I would have appreciated a courtesy call. They did give me size larger which I didn’t need more space but a discount would have been nice. The worker there was a very hard working gentleman who probably doesn’t get recognition much so I wanted to say thank you for your hard work! I’d rent again here because of him:)
Rebecca PlamondonThis location appears to be primarily a repair shop for u-haul trucks. My scheduled pickup time was 9am, but there was only a mechanic on site at the time. 15 or 20 minutes later an employee arrived who was able to take payment and get me on my way. Staff were friendly and professional.
Doug FraserThey didn’t know where the truck was located so we had to wander around looking for it. When we found attempted to drive away the truck was stuck in the snow. They should have paid more attention to making sure the truck was easily accessible and feee from ice and snow.

Two days prior they told us no truck was avaliable then found out was out in delta we could pick up the day ahead (free of charge) then they called to tell us that this truck was no longer avaliable nor was any 26 foot truck despite making our reso long before. Eventually they doing us a truck in Langley. We still got charged the extra day even tho they said we would not

After several bad experiences at other locations I 100% think this is the best location I have dealt with. The staff are very kind, understanding and knowledgeable. They're efficient and I'm speaking about 3 different employees as well not just 1. You truly did a great job authorizing them as a partner for Uhaul

Julie MurphyThe manager treated me very well I was nervous to return the trailer at night, but he arranged a safe place to leave the unit.
Bonnie EarlTrailer was damaged (Roof had been hit by previous renter) and required repairs. However, the mechanics at the location were very quick to re-align the roof supports and replace the busted rivets. Only set me back about 20 minutes. They were very apologetic and sincere. However, the wooden rails inside the trailer were damaged near the roll-up door and made securing my load difficult so that was a pain.
