I had to chat online, call, and then drive BACK to the location the day after I turned it in the have the contract closed out. The guys running it did not update anything or even check the vehicle til the next day. I believe I was charged more, additionally, because I returned the truck within 24 hours locally when the reservation was for 48 hours. They also didn't have the dolly I needed and the truck was filthy when I picked it up. When the fellow came in from checking the U-Haul after I drove back the next day, he sat down on his phone and didn't say a word to me for a few minutes. TLDR? Don't trust them. If they say you're good to go, make sure you get a receipt. Did not need this stress on top of moving.

Kody K.Truck was wrecked on the front end, passenger side mirror was busted, driver side turn signal did not work, check engine light on the dash, ran out of gas as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot, even though the fuel gauge read 1/2 full. When I brought this up to the person running the counter, I was handed a phone number and told to figure it out myself. Will not return to this location, and I am considering not doing any further business with U-Haul.

I feel I would have been better off with self service and not wasting my time dealing with an incompetent attendant.
SAM R.The cab of the U-haul was dirty. I was charged for miles.79 per mile .I was ask how many miles I was going I said maybe 70. I went 48 miles I was refined 18.00. On miles.I pick the truck up at 4:15pm was back around 9:30pm. I feel if you take out the insurance and truck is returned not damage you should get a refund on the insurance which was $14.00. I was also charged $100 deposit because I was paying in cash which was returned at the end. I returned it with same amount of gas. Do it cost me $120.00. For a local short trip and use of a truck. $100.00 for rental and insurance and mile. After my refund . $20.00 in gas I put in the truck. The clerk was not friendly when I rented but another clerk was there at return and was very polite friendly and nice. A friend of mine moved less than a year ago and she paid just the rental fee of $39.95.I feel I was charged too much for a short local trip. Upon rental no one asked if I had any questions about any usage of the truck I was giving keys and showed which truck to go to. Was very unhappy with my experience
delta B.This is the second time I rented from this location. Over a year ago an the same ppl were running the show. Hotel/U-Haul. The 1st time was a huge mess I don't even want to talk Abt. And This time.. same thing. I called the place to see if maybe the U-Haul was available earlier than my pick up time, the lady said it was there, assured me it was my trailer to come get it. Cool I'm on my way! Get there an the dude said no it wasn't there she thought I needed a different one. I specifically told her an open utility trailer to haul my motorcycle. Plus it tells her which one I ordered on my account. So anyway, had to turn around an go back home bc it wasn't there. Go to get it, and was almost charged 3 times the amount I was quoted over the phone an on line. Anyway I don't want to go back but I'm sure I will have to eventually bc their the only U-Haul around so we're stuck with these ding bats. I'm sure their nice ppl and overworked like the rest of us, but damn it, what happened to common courtesy and good work ethic???? We need to do better as humans. It's like nobody cares Abt their jobs anymore man. An that sucks.

Nicholas A.Unfriendly and there was no "drop box" and the guy behind the counter made us move the Uhaul into a super tight location. The owners were hanging out the windows watching us, garbage all over the place by "their" outback picnic area. This place gave me a super uneasy feeling. I would rather drive an extra 30 minutes for a pick-up or drop-off than to deal with this place again.

John R.I rented for 5 days because it was required and wanted to return before the 5 days were up but was told that I would not receive any refund. I ended up keeping the trailer just because I rented it for the 5 days. This is wrong and needs to change.

Richard S.Service was poor. There was a delay in getting the rental picked up due to no one being at the front desk. I waited 15+ minutes and the person working the service desk had a small child that was crying and it took attention away from my rental experience. I've rented (3) different times at this location and this experience was subpar. I would like to see improvements and communication improved as I rented furniture covers (which I never used) and they didn't inform me I had to return those. I had to make arrangements to return the 24 covers I rented due to the lack of communication several hours earlier. They did not check the van mileage, so I have no idea what I actually paid for. Overall it was the poorest experience I've had with renting.

Linda C.The experience at this store was absolutely horrible. An Indian gentleman was there but in the back. It took me hollering 2 times to get him out there to assist me. He didn't say one word to me but instead picked up his phone and called someone. He kept putting his hand up quite rudely. I told the lady on the phone I was returning a trailer and that I needed help to unhook it since I couldn't lift it with the downhill angle. The lady asked for the teailer number and sp i motioned the man to follow me. He went back to the backroom. I had to holler again because he left me and another gentle waiting on him. I asked again when the man came out and he said something in a forgin language. I felt as if I was bothering him. I told him I had the trailer nunber but he shue Shue me out the door without taking it or calling the woman ba800-037. On my way out I asked one of the other customers to help me. We got it off and safe from rolling... Next few days we get a call asking about the uhaul we returned. No one checked it in. Very unprofessional and.i will never choose this location

Mike D.Snow storm had came threw closing the interstate and manager said roads where safe enough to drive on from Kentucky to West Virginia with our six month old to return truck on time wouldn't allow us to have the truck for a day without paying even with bad road conditions.

William Travis K.Would only recommend this location to who needed U Haul in the region, only because they appear to be the only U Haul with pick up truck or small van. The cab of the vehicle I got (the small van) was absolutely filthy, seats appear to never be cleaned. The cleanliness of the cab was the worst I've ever seen. The van's gas gauge was below EMPTY and the page showing the amount of gas in it was marker quarter of tank. I had to return to the office an get that corrected. The dash indicator was stuck on statement, "RR Tire pressure is low. Air up RR Tire". I checked this when I got gas and found that all tires were reading the same pressure./ No need to air up the right rear! Its obvious that there was no effort to check the vehicle when it was returned by the last user or maintain it in a condition that meets average U-Haul standards that I am used to. I have rented a multitude of U-Hauls, Budget and Enterprise vehicles over the past 50 years. There is serious room for improvement at this location.
