I returned the vehicle , called in to the toll free number to notify them I had returned the vehicle. I confirmed my information and still received a call the following day asking if I had returned the vehicle. The whole experience of not doing this transaction in an office vs completely over the phone was strange as your not clear who you are speaking to and the follow up phone call to conform if I was returning the vehicle was from a random person who was unprofessional. In the future if I need a Uhaul , I will go to Home Depot or Penske to at least have more professional experience.
Rodney BThe customer service rep that handled my extended rental, prior & after ( i had her three times on different calls ) hung up on me various times, she was very short & ignorant. I was confused & she didn't have patience, very,very, very ignorant. 1 & 1/2 hrs to actually finish a pick-up over the phone. Thats the only reason i said i wouldn't recommend that location or any other that has to do with having to deal with that one customer service rep. The rest of the ladies were great bit she was a nightmare.
Miguel RZero stars. We were unable to rent the truck b/c there was no one there, no one answered the phone and no one called us to provide the code to the lockbox with the code. Thank goodness we had flexibility with this move and it wasn't critical to get the truck but I'd be raging mad if I had an urgent move going on.
Lauren SThere was no sign at all with a business name. No one was in the Suite and it looked abandoned. We received the truck with just 3/4 of a tank of gas and left it totally on full. We ordered 12 blankets which this location did not have. We had to go to another location in the morning to get blankets.
Ruth AThis is not necessarily a location specific review, but rather a review of my entire experience. My pickup and drop off location were changed the day of or the day before pickup/drop off due to the truck I ordered not being available/location not having capacity. I reserved a dolly, hand truck, and moving blankets when I made my initial reservation and the truck I picked up did not have any of the equipment in it. When I called, I was directed to another Uhaul location to pick up the equipment that I ordered (Madison NJ) and I was told by a rather confrontational team member there that they could not give me all the equipment that I ordered. However, after a conversation with his manager, he was able to provide me with some equipment to use. The truck also did not come with a lock for the back gate so I was unable to load anything before the morning of my move due to the inability to secure it. Overall, a pretty awful experience. The customer service team was very helpful.
Matthew MLock box was empty. Ended up having to contact customer service to find another key, to a smaller vehicle than the one I reserved, causing me to have to make more than one trip.
Michael KNeed to have someone on site to walk through the steps to rent via phone. It was like a puzzle. The return was problematic. I was unable to get a picture of the mileage and fuel level together due to the readout for mileage changing too quickly. And I think the return never completed because I got follow up calls and emails the next day saying my return was overdue.
Kevin PPersonally did not like the “contactless” procedure. Everything done through the phone and pictures etc… the representative was really helpful and friendly but this was our first time using this kind of system and prefer the traditional counter interaction. Also the van was really dirty, definitely not even wiped down or inspected after the last rental. Very disgusting.

Lionel AI wish I could give a zero star review. There is no clear sign for U-Haul. It is really hard to find this location. Get on phone with the lady, she is very impolite, lack of patience, and really slow. Asked about the parking spot, she said I cannot advise you there, which uhaul location cannot park the car? I have to ask the dental store for the parking info. I don’t recommend this location, if you want to rent the U-Haul go to the other location. This lady is not suitable for this job, probably not for any job.
Weiqi WTruck was dirty and smelled. Trash was in the back. The tire had a low tire. While driving I had to pull over 2x and fill the tire. When I got to my destination I had to call and have the tire changed as it went flat. You rented me a dirty, smelly truck that had a flat tire. I asked not to be fully charged the amount due. You then charged me the full amount. I will never use U-Haul again. Embarrassing.

Frank MIt was very difficult to find the key box. Calling the phone number of the location was not helpful. She insisted there’s only one building while I saw many buildings around this big parking lot. Searched through them one by one and finally got my key after burning in the sun for half an hour and wasted my time. Not fun

Eli FThe issues are the address is a 5 story building but from the Millburn Ave address the vans are not at all visible as they were parked at the very far end of a 2 block long lot Second I was told to find the key in a lab corp box but in fact the box was not labeled lab corp They person I spoken to was very very helpful and got me on my way but important to note the above two points
STEPHEN JIt was a very unlikely U-Haul facility. There was no signage on the outside of this building, which was mainly medical and legal offices. There was only the truck we were renting in the parking lot and clearly the representative was only there for us. He gave us the keys, pointed to where the truck was, then got into his own car and left. There was supposed to be 12 moving blankets in the truck and there were none. So we did get charged an extra $60 at the drop off location for missing blankets. However, I called the drop off location and they refunded us with no problems.
Deborah SThere is no U-Haul signage at the location so it’s impossible to tell if you’re in the right place. No one was on site either for pickup or return. There was no marked key drop box as indicated on the app, and a 15-minute hold time on the phone, so I had to leave the key in a mail slot and just hope it was correct. Just terrible service.

PERRY KThe staff were very helpful. They answered all questions and concerns clearly. The van was ready, even though we arrived prior to the reservation time. The entire process, from the pick up to return, was a pleasant experience.
Ki KThe representative is constantly late up to an hour! The car is in a bad shape. The muffler is making a horrible noise etc.... And it is not the first time we went there. No more! I would rather take my business somewhere else.
