This trailer was not returned in Ontario, it was taken by roadside assistance in Wyoming due to tire catching fire because of the lack of brakes on the trailer.

He was more concerned that the paid for blankets were not folded on return (which no one ever said they needed to be or we would have folded them), then he wanted to know why we were not returning the trailer which U-Haul roadside service kept in Wyoming and ONLY after i called U-Haul roadside customer service did we find out that they never showed the trailer in the computer as kept by roadside in Wyoming. What a mess the rental was from the very beginning.

Sort of an antique/family atmosphere business. I recall no changes since my last order of business. A requested handtruck was unavailable, so an appliance dollie was quickly placed in its stead.

Location was supposed to be open on Saturday, was not. I made a reservation on line for Monday was pleasantly surprised I could pick truck up earlier than scheduled. Windshield was so dirty had to go to the nearest filling station to clean the bugs off before leaving town. Wish I could have rented truck for one day rather than the three day minimum.

The car hauler I rented should be taken out of service. I did not know the left ramp stay was broken or frozen, and it actually kicked out onto the ground as I was loading. The overall condition of the trailer was in poor shape as well. I’m not sure that hydraulic brake system was working either and I’ve hauled a few car trailers in my life with cars on them. This one seemed excessively Squirrley.

I bought the insurance, but when I later received the contact via email, Section 13 incorrectly stated "I HAVE ELECTED NOT TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL PROTECTION FOR THIS RENTAL. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT DURING THIS RENTAL.". Also, we clearly stated that my husband was to be the Authorized Driver & provided his driver's license info, but we later found the documents incorrectly named me as the Authorized Driver, even though no driver's license info was provided.

The only complaint I can have is for U-Haul themselves. They need to have an aerodynamic style trailer. Gas mileage was a little high hauling this square style.

Customer service was awful. I called to inform them that the truck was almost empty on gas and the man claimed that he put a quarter of a tank in the night before. It was not at a quarter and I have never rented a uhaul that wasn’t full before. You pick it up full and return it full, right? So we filled it up half way and I asked if I could be reimbursed for the extra gas that we had left in it? I also had a receipt proof, time stamps, etc. the man said, nope that’s your fault for putting too much in. Just super weird and sketchy experience.

After explaining to the guy working this location that my drop off point in Boise was closed because my storage unit was getting asphalt re-sealed. I was told I could drop off on Wednesday with no penalties. Wednesday came around, I dropped off in Ontario, got hit with Kate fees and mileage fees, and had to pay cash. Extremely questionable. I could have dropped the truck off in Boise and maybe only have to pay the late fees. This is also after the pickup being a day late, a smaller truck size, and wrong pickup location.

The first truck he gave me had no gas in it. The second truck he gave me didn't fit the key. I had to go from truck to truck to figure out what key worked. I reserved this truck on line and rejected the insurance but set it up so I could fill out everything at pickup instead of online. When i arrived he sent me a link to my phone and informed me that was the only way he knew how to do contracts. He readded the insurance to the contract that I had rejected. I will never go to uhaul again. Horrible experience!

I declined all the extra BS they try to add to your order online but when I got there they charged me $8 for "Safe Tow" that I didn't want but didn't notice on my 2" phone screen. What a pain! So I spoke with Customer Service for 20 minutes and they made notes but they charged me anyway. I would think customers are worth more than $8.

My rental truck gas level was down 1/4. I was not told to bring it back at the same level. I filled the tank before returning the truck, so I incurred some extra cost. Everything else went fine and the overall cost was good.

I returned equipment after hours and did not go inside. While not a reflection on this location, I originally had requested to return the truck in Payette. I received a phone call from U-Haul asking if I would return the truck here, 3.2 miles away from my original request. I was then charged $2 for going over my mileage allotment by 2 miles. On principal alone, it was frustrating. $2 is not a big deal to complain but just odd to be asked to change my drop off then get charged the extra mileage.

I really appreciate this uhaul location. There were there when we really needed a uhaul and the rates are very affordable. We were late getting the uhaul returned but we got it worked out. I would recommend this location to everyone! Thank you!

My initial reservation was terrible. I arrived at the location and they were closed. I had to call customer service and the sent me across town to another location to get a truck. I was on a tight schedule already so this didn’t help.

The location it self was fine. When it was time to get the combo to the lock to get the key for the U-Haul truck, the combo was already set and unlocked on the locked that I needed and the one above it. Truck(s) couldn’t been stolen. The ride share or whatever was garbage. The app didn’t work for poopy doodoo. I had to log in through the website to receive the truck and drop it off.

Owner went above and beyond to help us. Didnt have the right connection on my pickup for uhaul trailer, he had an adapter piece he allowed us to use no extra charge you don't get that kind of customer service in the big cities

We had a 9am appointment to pickup the trailer. Fortunately the owner was there. He told us he didn't open until 10am. He took care of us anyway. Very friendly. Probably need to update the opening times of businesses providing U-Haul rentals. It would have been very disappointing if we had been held up for an hour. I would recommend Treasure Valley Windshield. The owner is very nice and helpful.
