I was overcharged by two days and when I called U-Haul directly they issued me a partial refund. I guess I will dispute the charges with my credit card company and rent elsewhere next time.

I will always use triple Js in anahuac tx. And the online uhaul helped me so much my sister passed and I was put in hospital and the wasn't rude to me at all they was all very respectful. Love my uhaul family...

When I arrived to pick up my U-Haul per my reservation for 9 AM January 31, 2026 The location wasn’t open. Upon calling the provided numbers it was a voicemail type system that you could say what you were calling for and they forwarded it to the person and the person could decide if they wanted to answer the call. I tried that twice, my son called once, and my wife who was an hour away called and the calls were declined. My wife called U-Haul and they connected her with someone out of Houston who was calling their numbers on file for that rental location and getting the same thing, and also reached out to the district manager for that area and didn’t get an answer from them. During that time, my wife was looking and she found a phone number for the business where the U-Haul rental location was and she sent it to me in text and I called and I got the owner of the business. Apparently he had an employee that was supposed to open that morning, and she knew there was a U-Haul rental to be done and she decided not to open at all. So we were three hours later than anticipated getting home with the U-Haul. When the gentleman had shown up to rent the U-Haul to my husband, where it was parked was a shady area and you could not tell that the inside was covered in oil. So my husband gets home with the U-Haul and they get ready to start loading stuff in and the whole floor and the Annie’s attic area were covered in some type of oil. So my son ran to a parts store and got stuff to sprinkle to soak up oil. So that had to sit for hours, time that we could’ve been used moving stuff into the U-Haul. After it was swept out, there was still an oily surface so we ruined perfectly good moving blankets to lay in the floor of the U-Haul so our belongings didn’t get oil damage. We also weren’t able to utilize the Annie’s attic portion. It was all in all an absolutely horrible experience!

Pick up location was changed day prior, dolly's and pads were no longer available at time of pick up and drop off location was changed hours prior to drop off. Scheduling is clearly not a uhaul strong suit and then have the audacity to charge extra when you have to readjust your plans for drop off. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

I'm not sure if local sites read these, but the location itself was sketchy... it we a last resort for me. However, the However we easy since I was already in the system from using UHual before. UHual is never the issue, it's always the weird locations where you pick up and drop off. I will say that this particular truck that I received has a TON of sugar?* ants in the drivers door that come out when you close the door. The guy was nice but would have preferred an option closer to Winnie.

There was no one there to receive the truck and when I tried to call them it would go straight to voicemail. The lockbox to put the key in was unsecure and broke.

The brakes on the trailer when empty caused it to jump or bang when slowing, very annoying. Also, both left and right side ramps were hard to stow once extended. Store rented from was friendly and helpful.

Well trailer could of been six inch’s longer . Wasn’t able to haul what needed to .so return trailer I gave 69 bucks for nothing . Need to have money back policy if wasn’t able to use . Are are meet customer half money .

Prices are outrageous. To charge mileage when the vehicle was completely empty is ridiculous. I did not order or use the pads. The owner did not have accurate inventory. The place was a dump that smelled. The people were unknowledgeable and were unkept. For a 19.95 truck for 8 hours ( only available) to go 60 mile round trip cost me 230.00. i could have paid local movers at that rate. Live and learn. Next move, i won't consider Uhaul

I drove approximately 50 miles, No traffic, no excessive speed, and I put 5 gallons of fuel based on 10 mpg. I was charged $19.00 for fuel.

Did not include furniture dolly, truck was filthy and full of spiders and spider webs. Man running this location was over 35 minutes late (when we called to see when he would be there, he sounded like we woke him up). We had no choice but to go to this location as we needed a 26’ truck and they were the only place that had several. Would have to be desperate for a truck to go here again.
