when we got to the truck, the truck was covered in snow and the employee gave us a rubber broom to clean the windows, the gas tank was empty and as we drove through the storm we noticed the window wipers were broken. With moving and packing we didn’t have time to exchange the truck due to scheduling. We had to drive it from Dartmouth (feb 1st) to downtown Halifax, during another snowfall. I don’t feel like we were set up for success with the move, it was very dangerous and added a lot of stress to the move. all these liabilities, still asked to pay full price.

Shamsujaman MActually, I booked uhaul at 8.30 am on September 1st. But store not opened and key also not in drop box. Later I went after store opened at 12.00pm. I asked them they simply said sorry yesterday I didn't see the booking.. I planned lots of work on that day afternoon, all went wrong because of this late pickup. I need a refund. Give me call back or else Tuesday I will give call to your customer service.

Santokh DThe van I got smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and had trash in the front. It also had an “oil change needed” notification showing the entire time so I had some trouble navigating to the odometer reading at first before I left. When I returned the vehicle, the employee was not communicative whatsoever about the process, didn’t show me any sort of waiver or agreement, or receipt, etc., and when I asked about the cost she just told me my card had already been charged and to check my email. Luckily I did this while still in the store and noticed I’d been charged for more than double the amount of km I had actually driven (was charged for 48; had driven 20. Her and I looked back at the odometer readings and agreed that the amount should have been 20 km. I also noticed that “my” initials appeared at the bottom of these documents although I hadn’t been asked to sign anything (there are witnesses to this). This element of the experience was especially shocking since signature forgery is, of course, a serious crime! The employee then told me that I could just call U-Haul later to adjust the km driven. When I tried to call the number on my receipt and asked if this was U-Haul, I just got a “no,” and was hung up on. I realize now that this was the number for the store I picked it up from, and the same employee I was speaking with earlier. Eventually I received a new receipt via email noting that I’d driven 27 km (still wrong, but certainly better and not a big issue to me) and, again, my forged initials at the bottom. All in all it was not a great experience, but was mostly convenient and eventually a pretty inexpensive way to move larger items.

If this is just an estimate that will be adjusted later it should clearly state that somewhere. The drop off app would not let me upload pictures. My only issues were with the app, everything else was great.

Vibhor BCheck engine light was on. Vehicle was not full of gas making it difficult to know how much fuel to replace. Despite using the app and filling in all the required fields I still had to enter the same information at time of pickup. Finally, the advertised $19.99 rental is a complete advertising gimmick. I used the vehicle for less than 3 hours and when all fees were added up and I include the gas I paid close to $135.00. Never again

Dani JThe vehicle I reserved online was not available at this location when I went to collect it, so I was offered a slighter larger one. Same cost to rent but with a higher cost per km. I was billed at the higher cost per km which seems unfair given it was not me who changed the booking but uhaul due to not having me requested vehicle.
Alicia MThis location was great but your other locations are not so great (5280 Green St). What’s even worse than that is your customer support. And wait just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, your app is garbage (literally). We had to wait 2.5 hours on the phone with support and at the end could not even get a vehicle from that location and was dismissed by support after wasting our time.
Jonathan YThey didn’t follow the U-Haul 24/7 app information. We thought we had to wait until 11 to be hand given a key because they did not use the system. They need to update the U-Haul hours for the location or follow the instructions for the 24/7 service.

Jesse BIt was not good experience as i was renting it first time ever. I got some issues in payment and didn’t get proper help from support team. Other thing it was not cleaned, there was some garbage on seat and empty coffee cup and back was also dusty.
Ravi PHi Team, I took an U-Haul today but it was so Misty and Foggy where I couldn't take the vehicle on my booking time and also returned late due to extreme climate conditions but during my vehicle delivery alos the person didn't say there is another booking at 8.30PM. He simply left it as is to us and now charged with all the extra payments.. Very poor

Arthur JWell I ordered the truck for 12pm and when I arrived to pick up the truck the guy wasn’t even there. The store was closed. Also the guy had issues with getting my booking straightened away. So it was almost 1pm before I even got out of the store. So needless to say I would never book a truck from this location again.
