Truck also had large “snow cap†on top and was told that “it will blow off when it gets drivenâ€. This is very dangerous and could have caused an accident. Not impressed

Diane A.both of these locations were good and saved my experience. I had an issue with the online reservation and phone call before I picked up the trailer. I reserved my trailer over a week in advance in Owatonna MN (6x12) and thought I had my trailer at that point. I received a phone call from U-Haul telling me there was not one single trailer available in Owatonna MN. The man on the phone was telling me there was some verbiage on the reservation screen that told me there was a possibility there was no trailer. All I ask is that message be made more clear or do not let me reserve a specific trailer in my city if there are none to use in the first place. Both these locations ended up working with me and saved my move. Dawn up in Faribult MN is a stud and you should give her a raise.

Trailer had flat tire, spent hours waiting for Uhaul to respond with repair options, finally fixed it ourselves and started our travels several hours later than anticipated. Not a good start to a stressful cross country move.
James D.There are many things that can be done to improve. While the experience of renting from my local agent went very smoothly, the roadside assistance program is a TOTAL failure. I had a simple failure of the turn-signal and I wasted an entire day getting it fixed. Each phone call to the U-haul support team took 20+ minutes on hold, and then ended in frustration due to no answers, unmet expectations and the like. The Interstate Truck group that you contract with is equally inept. Calls to them also went unanswered, or had painful hold times and zero effort to help me get things fixed. Wasting an entire day of vacation over what might be a $20 item is unacceptable. My reference # is 2410111 and my email address is Edward.westad@icloud.com. Sara V.At first I could not find my truck. I had to call customer service. Customer service had to call the location manager. The manager said to look in the back of the building. I had no idea there was a back of the building. The building, by the way, is an old shopping mall, which is about twice the size of a grocery store. So, not a small building. After walking to the back of the building, I then had to find the lock box where the key was. Good thing I was STILL on the phone with customer service because they told me the lock box was at the front of the building. So I had to walk BACK to the front of the building to get the key. Then walk back AGAIN to the back of the building to the truck. Also, detailed instructions on how to use the lock for the lock box would be helpful. The lock was 2 sided and it was not immediately apparent as to which side to enter the code.

That is why I called to rent a truck to move my items out of storage in a different town to my new apartment. I was very please with the ability to rent moving blankets & a dolly & to have the truck cleaned out when I picked it up. The entire process was very easy & I would use your company again if needed. Thank you for being available for people to have a way to move their treasures. The staff was so very helpful & friendly, too. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
