They were very accommodating to changes of needing it for an extra day. Just know that your car insurance doesn't cover any of the damage to the truck so you probably want to get the extra insurance!connie S.

Maybe just the simple task of having the windshields clean from bug smears and cup holders wiped down. THIS IS A CONSTANT ISSUE THAT I NOTICE EVERY TIME WHEN RENTING A UHAUL. The windshields and cup holders are NEVER wiped down for the customer getting in. So I typically return it as I find it. But how hard is it to clean both areas for the customer. This would take just 10 minutes and some windex and make a world of difference. At least for me.Julie S.

The only issue I had was using the online pickup. I did it exactly the way it instructed but wouldn't work. Finally had to go inside and check in. Frustrating when you have a time limit. Otherwise very clean van, excellent customer service from the attendant who helped me inside.Jyl C.

I had a fantastic experience working with the people at Tripp Oil LLC for my UHaul rental. I had issues with the UHaul app and when I called to see if they could help resolve the issues, they did their best and then called me back a little while later to check and make sure the app had started working properly again. I had an absolutely horrendous experience working with the UHaul app, which wouldn't let me use most of the required features. My check-in took over an hour because the app refused to allow me to take or upload the required photos and kept re-loading screens as I selected the buttons to advance. I know the technical issues were not my device's issue as the other person renting a UHaul at the same time as me had the exact same issues on a different (also very new) device and others I've talked to have had the same issues in the past. Overall, Tripp Oil gets a 10/10 for the cleanliness and accessibility of the vehicle; the UHaul app gets a -100/10. I would recommend getting to Tripp Oil (or any UHaul rental) during their business hours to pick up -- save yourself the hassle of the app.Kayla M.

I've rented UHaul several times and the experience at Tripp was an example that all UHaul dealers should follow. They were kind, patient and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. They had the truck warmed up and ready to go! After we returned the truck, they called us to let us know some plastic feet for a chair were left behind. They said, â€œwe can just hang on to them if you need them and can hang onto them until you can pick them upâ€. Hands down the best moving day!Benjamin R.

My comments are in reference to my experience with attempting to contact the roadside assistance number after I had hit a deer during my trip to Faribault, MN pm 9/30/20. Thankfully the truck was still driveable because I was on hold for 5 minutes and did not reach anyone so I hung up and called back and then was on hold for 4 minutes and once again no one answered my call. At least the truck wasn't disabled and I wasn't stranded on the roadside at that time. But if I had been stranded on the roadside, I would have been very disappointed in the lack of response from UHaul. I also think the information for contacting UHaul roadside assistance should be easier to find on the website and the contract that was emailed to me. The recording that was playing while I was on hold gave instructions to contact UHaul.com/help which is where I found the roadside assistance phone number. I did reach someone right away the next morning. I am providing this information for UHaul in the form of constructive feedback about my experience. Thank youNanette S.

No units were available in our area, so we had to travel to this location for pick up. Not a huge deal, but an inconvenience. It was about 45 miles one way to pick up the truck. The entire pick up transaction was completely on-line. That was fine.Christopher B.
My only comment would be for locations to make sure that if they have restricted hours due to COVID, that the information provided to U-Haul be updated as well. In this case the website info stated hours until 4:00 only to find at drop off they closed early. My concern was there was as no way to secure the appliance dolly.Michael D.
