Shady!!! Charging me for returning the equipment as I received it. Then trying to charge me for more time than I had the truck. Super sketchy.
Scott TShady. Trying to charge me 4-5 days for a 1 day rental. Charges fuel and clean up fee every time whether it's needed or not. This will certainly be the last time I use u haul. Even the corporate guy is rude and confrontational. A poor example of customer service.

Michael KThe original drop off location I think was out of business. They would not answer their telephone at all. I was then directed by U-Haul to go to a alternate location. It was absolutely terrible. Plus there was no one there to check me in even during business hours
RUDOLPH FThe facility is not bad, just picked the wrong day to rent u-hual. They were closed when they should have been open and we didn't get a dolly and the truck was muddy with no gas. I would like u-hual to refund for the dolly since even though I put no that there wasn't a dolly they still charged me.
Krystal RUpon arrival to this facility, the owner was unable to complete the rental process per policy. He took it upon himself to give me the U-Haul anyway. Telling me he would contact corporate, complete the rental process and then email me a copy. None of this happened. Unbeknownst to me, I drove from San Antonio to Tennessee without an actual contract! No one knew I had this ubaul until I turned it in. I had seemingly dropped off the grid! Until payment was due, then U-Haul attempted to get trumped up payments! Yeah right!! What a disaster and a bone!
KRISTIE DThe guy was not friendly, non responsive. Would not answer his phone calls, did not respond to the door bell he has posted even though he was on the grounds. We walked around call out and after 45 minutes, he came outside
Felicita OWe reserved online for an in person pickup at 10 am on 12/13. Arrived at the location and posted hours on the door were by appointment only on Wednesdays. Called and were told to download the app and complete the online check in. The app process itself was frustrating asking for contact information for multiple parties to verify my identity in order to complete the check in process. Poor cell service in the area and ultimately finished the online check in and obtained the lockbox code. So over an hour wasted to complete the pick up. We requested an appliance dolly which was not in the truck. We did receive credit for the missing dolly. There was actually somebody there on-site when I turned in the truck so the drop off was easy and the gentleman completed the turn in process because again, poor cell service and the app was glitching so I was unable to complete the online checkin on-site. Overall a frustrating experience and when I need a truck again I will likely use a different location or a different company and confirm staffing and availability before renting.
Erik IThey helped me out when another location said they couldn't. They know what they are doing. I only wish they had more space in the parking area.

Cassandra KAt the drop off, the location had a sign on the door that said the owner was in the back shop and to call him. We called the number listed, he said just unhook the trailer and leave it.... he did email us the return confirmation. But the whole issue made me nervous
Douglas PHad to wait 15 min for someone to show up after calling the number on the door. Truck Windshield was dirty.

Emily BMy original reservation was horrible. When I got to the location there was nobody there. They did not answer phone so I had to make another reservation for one that was 20 minutes in the opposite direction from I needed to go. That place should not be a U Haul rental if you care about your business.

Julie Wthe initial location I was scheduled to pick up at Dr. Bobs Automotive was not open when I arrived. Other UHaul customers were waiting as well - Triwest accommodated all of us. We had to travel out of our way and wasted about an hour of our time but I am thankful for Triwest and the service they gave.

Marla Yi'm a over the road driver for a major household van line, i rent hauls quite frequenly because of access issues with a large truck, this place was by far the worst experience i've had as they changed my pickup to the 24/7 and never notified me, after being on hold with corporate for over 30 minutes got it squared away, was not happy
JOSEPH AI wanted to pick up my rental at 8am. I was not able to do so because the owner was not there until 10:20. This caused many complications in my schedule. By the time that I was able to load the vehicle at 11am, I was three hours behind schedule and not able to make that time up. I am very disappointed.
Daniel PTrailer ramps dropped a lot of rust off the bottom of the trailer we had to clean up. License plate was mangled beyond recognition.

BELARMINO DThe gps to locate me for the final step to get the key did not work. It said cannot find your location, TRY AGAIN. Which I did 15 times. It did not work. That was quite frustrating. If I had not needed that location. I would have left.

Hanna PI requested an appliance dolly and it wasn’t added to the truck. I called/texted owner asking about the dolly and received no response. When I turned in the vehicle via online I explained the dolly was not included and asked that the fee not be charged to me. I was charged the fee anyway and responded back to the email from Uhaul about the charges asking to be credited the appliance dolly fee. I have not received a credit yet. Very disappointed. I have rented from this location before without issues so this is partially why I’m disappointed along with no response from uhaul about my concerns.
Cathy CHe quoted me 268 to take a car hauler to Florida. When I got there he set up the reservation and it changed to 750. He called and got it changed to 268 to honor the price. Nice guy as well. Will definitely go back if needed.
jacob HHave someone be there to accept rental vehicle and call back to confirm. We like U-Haul. Vehiclr is well mainted. Kaled reassured us if we had any vehicle problems to call.

John VNo restroom for customers despite the location being in an extremely remote location. The owner did not give me a contract and did not return my drivers license and credit card. I was so focused on needing to use the RR, I forgot to ask for it. He did not give me a contract. I was charged a fee that was not agreed upon when I made the reservation.
Sandra GI was not given a contract. (Found our later I should have) The truck I reserved was not available. I had to drive out of SA to pick it up. I was quoted 40some dollars for a tow dolly only to find out, at delivery time, that the price was for in-city usage only. The customer representative did not ask if I wanted rental insurance and took upon herself to charge me for it. The whole experience was very unfavorable. I’m hoping the regional manager contacts be and the misinformation gets corrected. I feel that I was taken advantage of.

Freddy RDue to poor reception at this location, the online\mobile pick up process was incredibly slow and dropped on a few occasions before I was able to acquire the code to get the keys and finish the process. Even when I had decent reception, the mobile pick up process timed out on a few occasions.
