I was late turning in the equipment because the guy on duty didn't turn the office light on or turn the open sign around. Then they charged my account 75.oo, and when that didn't go through, they charged me another 153.00. When I called about it, I was given the runaround. I finally got to someone higher up, but the damage was done. I have used your services every time I have moved, and I will never use them again. I will not recommend you, and I will tell them why.

Peggy WI returned my truck on a Sunday not knowing that the destination location was closed. This was disconcerting and confusing. I finally figured it out, but I had no idea. Not cool, in fact shabby. Next time please warn customers that destinations can be closed on Sundays. This earns you a below average rating for confusing the customer. Not very smart on your end. That and when we went to the other U-Haul to buy supplies through the self-service QR code, that was messed up too. Your IT is terrible, it waste's people valuable time
Ross DHave already referred this location to the company I work for. Fast, knowledgeable and professional is the words I used to describe both people at that location. I have told so many people that I rented a storage unit and then used the uhaul part a week later to relocate to Salem. Move was effortless to move here for work and after selling my house using the storage lifted so much off me. Good crew. I will return and I will keep spreading the good word.

Mark tLess regarding this specific location than the experience overall. When I originally booked the Uhaul online, The pick up and drop off locations were different. We were contacted the night before our pickup date and told our pickup location had been changed. We arrived to this location for pick up and subsequently had to wait over an hour to get things figured out due to a myriad of struggles. The staff member did all they could to help us, including issuing a discount, however this was only the beginning of our issues. We did not have the appliance dolly we booked online. The truck was in ROUGH shape - broken driver side mirror, no tread on back wheels, etc. The truck got stuck in our drive way, requiring our neighbors to use their pickup to pull it out. Then the morning of our return, we got a phone call that the drop off location had changed and it was further away requiring us to call and get more miles added onto our allotment. Overall - EXTREMELY frustrating experience. Would not recommend Uhaul to anyone at this point.

James HMy only concern is that I was charged for fuel and I left it exactly the way I found it. I also expressed specific concern to the management about the headlights and they thanked me. I have no reason it. My experience with them that they will not check into it. I would happily refer anyone to them that asked me period

Zachary HThe person who rented out the van helped me immediately, as I was the only customer in the store. Unfortunately, she took 40 minutes to complete the process of renting the truck out to me, and left me with only 90 out of 120 minutes I had rented the truck for, and told me to call to add more time if necessary. I’m on a tight budget so I rushed instead to return the van on time. She also told me that I would be charged $107 but that all but the original $31 would be returned to me as long as i returned the truck. After returning the van, i was charged $71.85 for everything, without explanation for the fees and without them listed in the papers I was given when renting the truck. I was charged about $180 when I was told online I would be charged $31 ($20 for renting the van, $1 for an environment fee, and $11 for insurance). I wish I had known all of these charges were going to be made to my card- I would never have rented a vehicle if I knew it would cost this much. Please let me know if and when I’ll be getting the money besides the $31 back.

Kim ADespite Uhaul not informing the location we would be coming, the person who helped us check back in the truck was polite and friendly.
Crystal FI know nobody will read this because you don’t care. But my experience was absolutely terrible. I was told the price I paid at pickup included mileage. I was good with that. I had to request to change the pick up to a different day but still only needed it for a day. We had bad weather that included snow and ice so it made moving a pain. I asked for five hours to be added to the drop off time. The lady at front desk said ok and said it was all taken care of. Once I went to drop off the truck I was told I’d be charged an additional $82. I refused to pay it, disputed the charge and was told I’d be contacted by a U-Haul representative the next day. Instead of that happening the extra $82 was deducted from my account and nobody contacted me. So I reached out via chat and at the end of the conversation the representative tried to act like they cared and understood. Then less than one minute later they sent me a message saying I hadn’t replied in three minutes so they were ending the chat. Bottom line is U-Haul doesn’t care as long as they get paid. I paid almost $300 for a one day rental and nothing was done to even attempt to explain it or anything. I was basically told it is what is is and that they “understand”. I will never recommend this company to anyone and I will never use U-Haul again.

mitch gI reserved a truck online to be picked up at Trojan Storage of Salem and it was ready when I arrived. The transaction was smooth and easy, returning it was even easier.
Michael FNo fault of Trojan, I blame U-Haul, which sent me to a facility which doesn’t carry Appliance dollies, even I booked the truck (and said Dolly) for the express purpose of moving a refrigerator. Fortunately, the Trojan agent quickly located an appliance Dolly at a U-Haul a few miles away.
Thomas WThe price was misleading. I was charged more then expected. Hidden fee's were tacked on. My $29.00 truck turned into 145.00 trip. I returned the truck within 4 hours. That was in town. I put $20. Into the truck to make sure it would be on the 1/4 tank mark.
Leif CI was told that if I changed my drop off location that I would save 30$, and I was also told that since I only received 6 of the 24 moving blankets I reserved that I would save another 20$. This did not happen and when I dropped off the U-Haul in the place I was told to I was charged another 25$ fee for an unknown reason. I am very unhappy with my experience and feel like I was lied to and taken advantage of. Not cool.

DONNA LTrojan storage was great and helpful. The overall experience was not. I made the reservation for this location. Received an email update with a new location to pick up the truck. Then after doing the online check in, received a third location for pick up. When I called the 800#, for clarification, they gave me a local number that was supposed to open at 9, but sent me back to the 800 number. Trojan had a truck, helped straighten out the reservation and was helpful.
