I booked it only to pick up at 11am. Then at 10:50, on my way there, I called ahead to make sure everything was ready. They told me that my trailer was at a different location, but they had a different size. Then they told me that if I wanted the different size at their location, I had to pay $50 extra to get it for cancelation fees. I had to call the main Uhaul number to actually be able to get a trailer at the location I wanted. It's like they didn't want me to rent one from them for some reason. I won't even bother trying to rent from this location ever again.

I got conflicting information from two associates that work there on what time the rental could be dropped off in order to not incur and additional charges. It was very frustrating and inconvenient

Shaking of tha truck was intolerable, and i don't recommend renting truck fron u-haul at all because of their service location cheat on paper without explaining and going over everything. Also the gas gauge is not specified as its on the paper.

Facility was excellent. Staff was excellent. Truck was clean but should be removed from service until repaired. Engine missed when running, a/c cuts on and off. Rear cargo door jams.and difficult to operate.

We were very disappointed with our order. I ordered a trailer from the Missouri Ave store. They never bothered to tell us that the trailer would be at a different location. My husband (who was by the Belcher store) went to the Missouri location to pick up. When he arrived, they told him it was at the Belcher store. He had to go all the way back to get the trailer. We live in Belleair-which is right by the Missouri store. That is why we selected that location. Not happy at all.

They charged me $10 for cleaning, after watching me sweep the back of the truck for 20 minues , telling me that was good, and then go the email where they charged me and the woman said thwey had to "blow out" the back,,,THAT COSTS $10 I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THAT UHAUL EVER AGAIN, and I rent a truck a week on average

The truck I got (5454) had a problem with the gear position indicator. In order to be in Reverse, the indicator had to be midway between the "P" and "R" letters. Drive was located between the "N" and "D" letters. At times, it was difficult to find "Drive." This is a maintenance issue that requires shop work which I don't consider to be this store's responsibility.

Have some system for getting desired equipment to a specific location instead of making customer travel to where equipment is available. Guaranteed pickup location instead of "desired"

Dont charge people for items that are not correct. I am a hard working parent of 3. Being charged extra fees is wrong and this location just lost a customer. When calling to dispute the charge the employees should be more professional and provide better customer service. Very unsatisfied customer.

My only complaint is that the U-Haul boxes are not as good as they used to be. I carried a bunch of photos around in an old U-Haul box for years. Then, when I bought some new ones for this move I transferred them over to a new box since I figured the old one had just about had it. Before I even got to my new location, the hand holes ripped. So did several of the others. Now I don't feel confident that these new boxes will last long while they are in storage like the old ones did. It's really disappointing.

when i got in the pick up truck i reserved, i noticed that the "tire/air low " indicator stayed on which meant that one of the tires was low on air...before leaving the lot, i went back inside and told the worker who had completed my paperwork about this... she said" don't worry, its just a bad sensor"..i drove the truck only about 20 miles but by the time i got the truck back to the lot, the indicator was telling me i had only 20 psi in the left front tire ( so was it the sensor or the tire? who knows!)...thankfully i didnt have to stop and put air in the tire ! and she was pretty unresponsive when told her this...so, she let me take a truck out that she KNEW had a mechanical problem and seemed unconcerned about that! lots of liability here...good thing the tire didn't go flat and i had an accident...what other problems are they letting slide by? so, these folks won't get my business in the future...and by their casual disregard for the safety/ maintenance of their vehicles, they are giving you-U-Haul- a bad name

The place we went to we had gone to several times. I had to call and complain about the fact when my wife called to let the U-Haul we used know they over charged us and lied about it. She was abused emotionally by being yelled at by the man who was working there because she had tried to explain I did not go over 100 miles, it was impossible and they charged us for 2 days instead of the one day I used it. This is a disgrace. Thankfully U-haul corp. is looking into this situation with the small mom and pops U-haul in Clearwater near Harn blvd and Belcher area. People STAY AWAY from these people they screamed at my wife who is sick and afterward was so upset and in tears, she is epileptic and had a seizure. It is unacceptable!

I usually rent my uhaul trucks from whitney 19 self-storage, But because all their trucks were gone. I had to rent from Tropicana mini storage and they should work on their customer service skills!!!

I have orderd from this uhaul before and have had issues, thought I would give them a second chance and boy was that a mistake.. so I rented this uhaul to tow a boat ( obvi needing a hitch) picked up the uhaul and relized there was no hitched called in the morning to complain the man I spoke with was so rude and stated they do not supply those.. when someone calls and asked For a hitch shouldn't you give them a heads up that you don't offer those. And act a little caring. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM !!! They are in the business to take your money !!!

Disappointed that the equipment I reserved wasn't available and I had to travel to another location to rent it there. Because it was 4 miles away and I'm charged per mile, it cost me $6 extra to pickup and be back to where I needed to go. Of course there is the guarantee that is advertised but will only be honored if they call me to confirm my reservation. Overall my experience is great but I'm disappointed in Uhaul for a deceptive guarantee. It's better if they don't guarantee anything at all because most people are understanding and know mistakes happen.

We/I swept out the truck. The girl behind that checked the truck over told me there would be a cleaning fee-that the truck was dirty. She gave me a broom and I went to the truck. There was dust on the end of the bed as probably blew up out of the track when she opened the back up. Get a grip and don't be telling me its dirty-that was pure bullshit

I was told to present my receipt for oil at check out. The staff sent me to another location, claiming they could not reimburse my funds. That location sent me back to the original. When I arrived back, my money was not refunded. Instead the staff lied and stated I did not have enough gas, so he claimed it was an even exchange. He made rude comments to us. I have never had such a horrible experience at any U-Haul or any business!!!!! Staff is rude, unprofessional, treated me like they were doing me a favor.

When I got the vehicle the tank was at 7/8ths. When I returned the vehicle the tank was at Full. I had filled up the tank but they would not give me any credit for the extra gas. No problem, BUT When the attendant inspected the cargo hold she asked me if I wanted to sweep out the truck or she would have to charge me $25 for a cleaning fee. There were three small white dust particles at the door of the truck. I had already swept out the truck. I asked for a broom, which she provided to me. I swept out the bed of the truck again. I had not transported anything dirty, just furniture and boxes. I will not rent from this facility again. Good customer relationship is far too important to me.
