I had requested a different location in Mt airy but was notified that it was only guaranteed at the one I went to. I drove by my original choice and it was filled with trucks. I had a similar experience at the one I had to use and always try to avoid this location. The gravel lot means the trucks will be dirty, it took almost an hour to rent and I ended up doing it mostly myself as the computer never works here. I wish uhaul had not pushed me to this location. Also I had to remind about the dolly I rented as it wasn't on the truck, they also only had an appliance dolly when I rented a utility dolly.
Andy PWe did not originally sign up for this location. Not happy it was changed to this location. Truck mirror was broken and the supplies ordered were not given. Truck did run well. We returned it much cleaner than when we received it. Glitches in computer system held up pick up time and we lost over 1 1/2 hrs of time delay just trying to pick it up. Pick up was not an easy process.
Douglas PI usually use the dealer ar 1334 W Pine Street, whom I highly recommend. But his local 6x12 trailer had 2 flat tires, so he referred me to the E Pine location. They were very nice, but seemed to have trouble navigating through the u-haul computer system. This is not the first time I have heard this complaint from your dealers. But they were very courteous as they seemed to be fighting the u-hail computer system to accomplish what I wanted. The trailer itself seemed a little long in the tooth. Most annoying was the rails on the interior, to which one attaches ropes to keep the load from shifting. I’m glad I had some 1” straps with me, because I’m not sure a 3/8 rope would fit.

Steven BThe truck was dirty with mud. The truck only had 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up (that's stretching the gas - it was actually a hair below the fourth mark). I had a 1/2 tank of gas when I got to my destination - so I left 1/4 tank more gas more than when I picked it up - probably - estimate $25.00 more gas in truck. Each truck should be filled full with gas upon customer arrival - then the customer fills tank back up to full before leaving truck at destination. I see now why truck not full of gas when picked up because more than likely U-Haul will acquire more gas than was left in truck on pick- up. I had no way of knowing how much gas was needed for my trip which was just around 50 miles but I forced to stop and get gas because of low gas in truck on pick up.
Tommy CThis was the first Uhaul facility where I was told to unhook the trailer myself. However, the young man working there did it for me, in the rain.
JOE BPease insure that the pickup location actually has the moving blankets that are part of the order.

Cesar RHorrible experience at pick up location. The agent was new, computer crashed 3 times, the agent did not know how to hook up trailer. I was there for 45 minutes due to computer errors.
