The Manager was not at work , took a lot of time for an employees to get ahold of him and get me on my way. The employee was by himself and had a lot going on- he did well to make sure I was taken care of. Just took too long for my liking.

My entire experience with Uhaul was a disaster. I was moving From Cold lake to St. Paul and Was originally supposed to pick up my 26 foot truck from St. Paul. When I called to confirm with the location and possibly look to have the trucks a day sooner, they advised me that their terminals were down and that they had no trucks. Had I not phoned, I would have showed up there and not had a truck. There was no communication. They told me to call uhaul. I then called uhaul and they told me that someone should have called me because St. Paul was no longer a distributor. They then offered the next closest location and that was Smokey Lake (over 2 hours from Cold Lake). I also found out I was downgraded to a 20 foot truck for the same price. I showed up there to pick up the truck and again, the truck was not there. The customer before me had not dropped it off when they were supposed to at 8:15. I made the owner call the customer and ask why it had not been returned. The customer stated that uhaul allowed them to extend the rental until 3pm. I then called U-Haul again and they confirmed that the customer did not extend the rental and I had them call the customer again. Of course, the customer did not answer after that. I sat in Smokey lake for 2 hours. Then I was offered to back track to Two Hills and was only given a 15 foot truck and a 8 foot trailer. When I showed up to the two hills location the truck was dirty (bugs all over the windshield), the exhaust was leaking (my husband is a mechanic and this would make us burn fuel Way more), and it only had 90km until empty for fuel. I was told by the man there that we had to fill it up and then only return it with 90km until empty on it. I’ve rented from uhaul in the past and this was not the protocol. Do you know how hard that is to time perfectly?? When we dropped it off yesterday in Vilna, I dropped it off with 137km until empty. Which means uhaul made extra money on my rental. The man in Vilna then told me that U-Haul was going to charge me $3.00 extra for Kms. My Kms were supposed to be covered. With the run around that I received, lack of communication, equipment not being cleaned or fueled up, I don’t believe I should have paid a dime for this service. I will not recommend this service to anyone looking to move. I’ve never been so disappointed in a company and its customer service.

I went to pick it up the person working there had no idea what they were doing. They told me to just hook it up and take it. I said, but I need to pay for it here and they said no you pay for it online and I said it doesn’t give me the option to pay for online it says pay for when I pick up. She was like oh I don’t know. I don’t know how you do it so she text her manager who never responded. I ended up having to wait around for a half hour for her manager to get back to her to tell her how to do it it was really poor service considering the fact that I already had to drive a half hour to pick it up at that location instead of the location that is in my town It was the worst experience I’ve had with U-Haul.

The trailer was rusted I am sure if it goes for inspection if will not pass inspection

Reserved a 6 x 12 trailer three days ahead but when I showed up to pick it up it was all snowed in. There was no way to get it out so I had to take a smaller trailer that didn’t fit all my stuff. Maybe if a trailer is snowed in don’t have it available was not very happy..

I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy. Not helpful, poor English, wouldn't help hook trailer up, didn't carry any connectors, threw his hand up and said the contract was closed when I said I couldn't drive 500 kms with no lights. Worst experience I've had with anyone. Shouldn't be running a grocery store and a Uhaul at the same time. He should be fired.

They over charged according to the quote but fixed it afterwards, was missing the locking pin for the hitch, and I had to wait far too long to pickup and drop off.

Ramp was wedged in and we needed to locate a crow bar to free it. The ratchets were both ceased and we had to drive to a neighbours farm to get a lubricant. After these maintenance problems one had to wonder if the wheel bearings needed greasing. Both pickup and drop off went smoothly.

The truck I reserved was broken, so I had to settle for a smaller one. The smaller one had issues as well but was drivable. The washer fluid sprayers didn't work. The steering wheel had to be turned almost a quarter of a turn to the right in order to drive straight. The back tires (which are the ones that push) were summer tires in mid February (I got stuck on my flat gravel driveway because there was a bit of snow on it).

I was trying to extend my rental but the system said I couldn’t cause it was being rented later at 7 so I returned it to find out that I already rented for two days not one like I thought

I would make the drop box for the keys more visible or with more detailed instructions to help find it. Other than that all is perfect.

Trailer was little dirty on outside. Needs a spray done. Trailer itself was excellent. Lights all worked. Tires perfect. 4 wire trailer plug. I checked hubs after 20 km. Cool as ice cubes. Uhaul teller was quick with the return. Thanks Uhaul

Reserved on line with pictures of drivers licence and other info only to have to re enter all the same info upon pick up so did not save any time.

"This is not a good time, I'm on my break, my priority is not UHaul, it is running this grocery store, UHaul isn't my business, I have no parking for you at this time." Wasted an hour of my day and didn't get my refund because he kept purposely messing with the computer everytime I put my debit card inside the reader.
