Cody and the young lady there did a very good job. My thanks to them. I never had to pay it but a $20. fee for dropping off the keys after hours and not completing my own check in online is ridiculous. If I ever have to do that I will simply keep the rented vehicle for the full 24 hours and return it the next day. In essence you are charging $20. so that you can have the vehicle back earlier and rerent it. Hmmmmmm... Again my thanks to Cody and the young lady. Good service.

Truck was empty on gas and was lied about the the gas content of the 26' truck. Staffs told me that it would be okay to drive though they mentioned about empty gas at check out and didnt know the truck seems like been sitting at their parking lot cor the whole winter and the gas meter froze up and it have an in accurate gas reading. As soon as I drove the truck out of the lot and pas 2 blocks away to go to the gas station to fill it up, the truck stopped running in the middle of the road. So i had to call the not so helpful road assistance and end getting no help at all!! I had to call edmonton police services for assistance as I was blocking the whole traffic while I am getting a gas from a nearby gas station. I had to spend $80 on gas and geri can to fill up the truck. returned the truck before the agreed time, and staff wasnt very helpful of course she reffered me instead to her manager which is not in the syore and advice me to call him by Monday instead to voice my complain about the empty truck! This location already failed me twice, I shouldnt trusted them again but I did anyway. Not for recommendation!!!!

Apparently the website and store don't communicate so if you book online you don't or may not actually get what you bookrd. Took them 4 days after I booked online to inform me of this and I ended up having to take time off work in order to move. Not impressed

Gas level was overestimated -- had to ask him to correct it. Wasn't provided with a damage report when I picked up the vehicle. Owner told me they produce damage reports anymore when vehicles are picked up, they just put stickers on dents and scratches. I argued that a sticker could easily fall off and then I could be liable for damage that was already there. Not a great way to maintain trust with your customer.

The gentleman at the desk was simply outstanding. However, upon returning it was the same gentleman, this time alone. The poor guy was RUNNING to keep customers happy due to a scheduling oversize. I felt bad for him because he was working so hard all by himself. That man deserves a HUGE raise.

Have more than 2 people there on a very busy Saturday so it doesn't take over an hour to return a truck (which I would have done over the app, which is terrible, and the employees told me everyone has issues with). I will never be renting from this location ever again - nothing but problems every time I come. Get your shit together U Haul!!!

There was no walk through of vehicle and the trailer door was left open I had to pull over and close after driving for 2 min. The vehicle broke down mid move. Twice. And made my move and cleaning schedule with previous leasing office very difficult. Customer service in Phoenix Arizona would call me 2-3 am on both break down occasions to let me know service status... Unreal. During work week.

I signed up for mobile pick up of a 20' truck, and the mobile self pick up service didn't work. Called the 1-800 number and they couldn't help. Stood in line for over an hour to end up with a 15' (had option for a 26'), as apparently the truck I'd booked a week ago hadn't been returned by the previous user. Came back the next day to return unused boxes as per the 100% buy back guarantee to get told no since I didn't have a receipt. Fair enough, even though they are U-Haul boxes in excellent condition with the tabs intact. That part REALLY pissed me off. Like seriously. You want me to hold on to a paper receipt that I'm not even sure I was given while moving? I got 3 emails and 2 texts from you while booking a truck, why wasn't electronic service offered for this purchase. I had been at this location 3 previous times in the past week, like seriously, just buy back the fucking boxes. Honestly, the only reason you're still in business is because no company has been willing to make the capital expense needed for the fleet of trucks, locations, and supplies. To be fair, the staff there all seemed good, and were very nice and obviously working hard while horrendously understaffed. Better hope there isn't an industry-disrupting business model coming for moving trucks, or you'll be going the way of blockbuster.

The box of the truck floor was slippery it needed heat to dry the floor at the light switch needs to have one in the box .

Try having the equipment available. I was shuffled to 3 different locations. Guaranteed rental? Yeah right. The staff tried 5 times just to sign in the computer not yet alone do the contract. The service guy spoke little to no english. I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to competent staff! The girl in traffic did eventually find me a trailer. Thankyou for that. The trailer was so dirty you could not see the lights or reflectors. Great at night!!! There was a trailer available at another location but the mngr put it down as needing repair, so that he had it available for a uhaul rental to Ontario, the next day, Thats a old trick!! Overall rating a zero.

The first truck I received was not usable and had to be returned. The back was stuck and could not be opened to load goods. The trucks should be checked more thoroughly before being loaned. This was a waste of my time as I drove to the site to use it and had to return. It was very annoying

all tie down belts should be thawed out and in good shape This was not the case when i picked the unit up the belts were frozen stiff and very hard to tie down. could not get one strap into the ratchet without cutting off a little piece of the end.

I drove 31 kilometers (just to pickup furniture in town) and got a bill for 450 kilometers! Go figure.

When renting the uhaul, I was told that my deposit would be put back automatically onto my card. After a week, it never did. Then I had to spend over an hour on the phone to be told I had to drive 2 hours away to go to a different location to get my uhaul deposit back. I did not receive $80 of my deposit back because it was off the 1/4 of a tank by a sliver. So I got charged for them to drive it to the gas station, fill up, then to drive it back. I didn’t drop off and if I was informed that it was off, I would’ve brought a Jerry van with me for them. Absolutely worst service!

Staff member walked away in the middle of our interaction to help another customer who had an issue. Our rental time was for 9:00 am but we did not get our actual vehicle until 9:40 after waiting 20 minutes from the time we signed our contract. We were asked to bring it back an hour earlier than the time that I booked so that the store could rent it out to another customer before it closed, which wouldn't have been a problem except I booked it for 8 hours and not sure if I paid less for the time I actually returned it. There was no walk through or vehicle inspection, just pictures texted to me from the summer when the photos were taken that I could approve of disapprove. The vehicle itself had issues with the steering wheel and it was difficult to maneuver. Thank you.

The gas tank was 50% full how much do i need to put in to get it back to 50% NO IDEA so i put more gas then i needed and was not able to be credited for the gas bit of a scam to insure you guys get more money. the floor of the truck was sticky now all my items are sticky

To contrast, everyone at this location was friendly and warm. They asked how my drive was and were super helpful and timely. It took less than 10 minutes to complete and I was on my way. Would recommend. An example of how UHaul should be, NOT like Marine Drive location.

No customer parking to leave your vehicle. Although did Express Check In the night before, still had to go over everything at the store. Very slow check in and the vehicle was not ready and warmed up. Shortage of staff at vehicle return. Nobody to check in.
