When i reserved the truck on the phone I stated pickup on Friday evening and drop off on Monday. Rental of 3 24hr "periods. This was not entered and the system expected me to drop off on Saturday. Before I finished the pickup process I got on chat and asked them to change and they 100% didnt understand what I was saying. How do you not understand "system shows I have only for 1 day and it needs changed to Monday drop off". Their responses were totally unrelated. Eventually I was told that I could change that by simply requesting an extension on more days. I tried that and it couldn't be done because "another family was relying on that reservation". We'll sorry to this other family that more than 1 person can't comprehend that im using this truck for 3 days. While I did have the truck, things went fine, if this happens again I will be considering not using uhaul anymore. I use uhaul quite a bit and my usage will likely double or triple in the near future.. Overall, the truck was new ish which was nice. The air/ac knob was sort of malfunctioning for it being a new truck but someone can figure that out. It works fine. Just not as you'd expect it to be like. The trucks battery somehow completely died on me once I parked it to unload. Thankfully I had a jump pack. Once jumped and running, a couple times it stated stabilitrack needed to be serviced. But when I turned it off a 3rd time and started it again and drove it down the road(vs just around the property that I was unloading it at) it went away and stayed off. Also... -2pts for the flooring in the cargo. Its usually a very nice, smooth surface, this wasn't. Plywood was chipping away or something and they put some sort of floor paint on it. It wasn't done very well. Had I been moving something like a bed or couch it would have ripped the fabric. Thankfully I was only moving equipment... So overall, wasn't an amazing experience. But it got the job done and thats all I needed. If you made it this far, whom ever is reading this, thank you. This isn't a direct reflection on you. I hope you have a wonderful day. If you have family at home, please hug them and tell them how much you love them. Tell your friends just how much you love them. Go treat yourself to a snack. Times are tough out there and we need every "pick-me-up" that we can get. Keep your head up. Things get better in time. And if you don't see that coming your way, you have the power to stand up and change it yourself. If youre strong enough to dream it, you can build it. 🌹🌹🌹

THOMAS BI had to extend my reservation through no fault of my own. I reserved a dolly. I didn't receive it the 1st day. I had already started the pick up process so i couldn't stop. I couldn't do the majority of my needs without the dolly. Had to add a 2nd day. THEN, I got charged for using the dolly for 2 days. Plus, the check back in was irritating

Mark CI created an account with the drivers license info and credit card info but on the day of pick up the same information was needed to be enter in again. This cause frustration on the day of pickup when it’s a contactless. The intent is to speed up the contactless process. DCoyle

WENDY WDid not include accessories ordered--dollies, furniture pads. Was charged to rent them and then charged at drop off over $300 because I did not return them. U-haul tied up my checking account because someone didn't load my truck with ordered items. And because, as the Crawfordsville manager explained, "some new kid just didn't know what he was doing." Bad business.
Carmella BWe went to Grand Haven, MI. We asked them at that location if we could park the trailer on their lot because parking is very hard to find in Grand Haven where our VRBO house was. So we had to park the trailer at the house and alternate parking for our SUV from parking downtown to parking on the beach til 9:00 pm. Would have been great if the U-Rent it Center in Grand Haven could have made room for our small trailer. Would have saved us a lot of trouble and parking expense.
