Bad customer services. Told me they were busy, but nothing wad being done anywhere wise in site. I was the only person in the office. Everybody was upfront. No noise outside. They’re lazy.

AIMEE SMy only issues were the large doors were unable to be opened after the office closed, an infestation of cockroaches ( they were climbing the walls outside my unit), and homeless people apparently living inside. Fortunately I found no roaches in my stuff, but they are able to get in and out of the units. Staff was great, and helpful every time I interacted with them.

EMMANUEL WTruck was clean but ran rough and breaks need work. I felt like I was going to have to use Flintstone breaks with how far down i had to push the pedal to get the breaks to engage. Also, the truck wouldn't start for an hour I thought the battery was dead. The recommendation question was hard to answer. The guy I dealt with was really nice but the quality of the truck was poor and the storage facility is well below average. This also was not supposed to be the pick up location.

On Friday I disputed the milage charged and was told a refund would be issued, today when I called to see where the refund was I was told it was because I turned the truck in late, I had till 10:30 pm on Thursday and I returned it at 7:01pm on Thursday! I was also told that the person I spoke to on Friday never made any notes. What a scam!

THOMAS TUnprofessional .Tried to charge me additional fees without my knowledge so I had to call and explain .I didn’t get anything done cause I needed roadside assistance and when they were sent to my rescue they needed roadside assistance before assisting me .My whole day was wasted due to someone else’s issue .Never Again !

DENISE KThe straps to the trailer was very rusty and gave me a problem when I was strapping the car. Equipment must be lubricated for the next customer so it can function properly, but other than that the rest of the service was great.

JAMES JThe chains on the trailer were way too long even twisted up they were dragging. Fix the web app so I can upload images of the initial condition of the trailer from Firefox. The digital experience is lacking across the board. Everything has been a little wonky and time consuming. I took the extra time to upload my license and set a drop off location during online checkin but the location didn’t show it and we went through that process a second time.

You guys dropped the ball numerous times yesterday and i will be moving my 2 units to a different company. Very unprofessional. I spoke with 2 people about my issues and called the 1800 number with no resolution. This is not the same uhaul company that I've used numerous times over the years. Never again.

Brian S | Overall ExperienceI always pay on or before my due date, so when the tax changed in december I overpaid, I miscalculated my next payment and was short a few dollars and received a notification so I called and asked if I could just make that up on the next payment and was told that it would be no problem, apparently it was a problem as they send me half a dozen emails, they sent letters to my home and to my job and when I called I was told that it was the system and there was nothing they could do! well your system is broken if you have to harass someone for $3. Calling corporate did little good, so I will never store at U-Haul again.

The problem is this after so long this issue becomes neglect and should have been taken care of. How do you ignore an issue like this and let it go for so long. I posted pic's of my belongings and the roof. I appreciate your understanding and willingness to meet me half way, but you didn't. I lost a lot because someone didn't take the buildings roof leak serious.

I only have two complaints, one being the amount of transients that live in the area. There is a public bathroom in the front of the storage building when you enter and many times, I’ve seen transients and homeless, shower, and cleaning themselves in the bathroom, my other complaint is about the cat urine odor that was coming from several units near mine. I feel if the odor of the units being stored by a another tenant are so bad that it’s polluting the air in the entire building that tenants property should be asked to be removed.

Then the 1st thing when brought to your attention was "you don't have insurance" without knowing or checking, but when pressed about it you provided the information to contact the insurance company. Mind you also, you don't include any details on your monthly emails as to the contract or what one is paying for at the facility. So, going back to the original paperwork I did have insurance. So there is that thankfully but don't store anything on the second floor of the Jasmine Lakes U-Haul in Port Richey FL. Looking at the ceiling there are rust stains everywhere which indicates it leaks like a strainer.

I showed up and was told there weren't any available on the first floor and I had to use a storage room on the second floor at $5 more. (it's air conditioned, I didn't need) but I had no option. My access card was not valid so I set off the alarm a couple of times. I could not stick around and have it validated because my RV arrived, I had to level it and start my journey back to Canada. I should not have to pay extra and will have to deal with it come Oct. The staff were kind and courteous.

The reason is because they applied the reoccurring charges on their own. This is troublesome and illegal! I will not use them again and the recommendation to friends and family just won't happen! I asked how this happened after we were declined at the pharmacy for medication for a life threatening issue that needed a prescription that was extremely expensive but uhaul illegally charged our card without our knowledge. I made multiple complaints to corporate that are in the file and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it!! Uhaul had the opportunity to make this right with us and chose not to do so! We had to argue and threaten to call corporate to have the charges reversed even after they admitted that they had done this on their own and intentionally did it to take a payment when we never set up reoccurring payments. We weren't offered any discounts or apologies and were treated as though we were the ones that had done this illegal transaction. That is bad for business and unacceptable!! We will go elsewhere in the future for our storage needs! DON'T USE UHAUL!

If you are going to be in management and put your phone number on a card and on the bldg then you should be prepared to answer your phone. However, when I had an urgent matter he REFUSED to answer the phone calls or texts. I had to call UHaul directly to get assistance which turned into about a 2 day situation that could have been resolved in 30 minutes. He needs to receive management training and how a manager should behave.

samantha b | Overall ExperienceI had the worst experience ever. I met with Jesse Hart, who was extremely helpful. I initially requested a 10'x15 unit weeks before my storage date. They were none when I went to get my key and sign the paperwork. I had to end up getting two units which were not even next to each other. Later that afternoon with a full truck of furniture, and 3 men that I was paying hourly to assist me move, I went back and met with Josh who showed me about the alarm system. Upon dragging 3 dollys of furniture up to the second floor, one of the units had a padlock already on it. I walked back over to the office and told Josh. He attempted to call his Manager, without any luck. He tried numerous times to reach the previous renter, again no luck. Meanwhile, the men were waiting with dollys full of furniture on the second floor,, and the other men had already unloaded the remainder.of the furniture off the truck and was waiting for the empty dolls to load up to take the furniture up to the second floor. I ended up having to reload all the furniture back on the truck and going to another location who still did not have the size unit I requested, but did have a little bigger unit than the one at Jasmine and Little Road. We were hot, frustrated, and wasted at least an hour waiting on Josh trying to accommodate us, to no avail. What should have been a fairly easy move, turned put to be a nightmare. I had to pay for the insurane for the unit a second time at the new facility as they did not refund it at the original location. I was made promises for an extra month free due to the difficulty I had experienced at the first location when renting the Uhaul truck. The young man Anthony at the second location where I ended up was extremely helpful and kind, but could not keep any promises that Jesse at the Jasmine location had promised earlier in the day when I went to sign the paperwork. I ended up having to pay the three men two additional hours because of the wasted time at the Jasmine location because they unloaded the truck, had to re load and wait around until a new unit was found at the new location on 19 and SR 52. Then drive over there and unload and move the furniture again for the second time. I spent frustrating hours trying to get everything sorted out. I will never use the Jasmine location, nor will I recommend it. You have a very, very unhappy customer.

We had pretty much washed our hands of Uhaul and would never use them or recommend them ever again. Then we met Jesse at the Jasmine Lake location in New Port Richey, Florida and his staff, they've totally restored Uhauls reputation with us. I would recommend this location to anyone. Customer Service beyond excellent. Cleanliness WOW, outstanding. Even though we had a horrible time getting our stuff from Michigan to Florida, due to the Michigan location, we will however use Jasmine Lakes Uhaul for ALL of our storage and moving needs in the future. All the problems we had in Michigan Jesse addressed them even though it had nothing to do with his location and that shows corporate leadership skills. He never once blamed anyone he just made it right and apologized over and over again. Another thing we noticed was the respect the employees had for eachother and management, that is rare in today's society. Thank You Jesse, Kevin, and the Jasmine Lakes team for going above and beyond and restoring our faith in customer service. I hope every business we deal with down here in Florida is like this.
