I was appalled and disappointed with the service and dishonesty of the employees at the return. We had a mandatory evacuation and rented this 5x8 trailer to take what we could if we had to start over and we went up north. We were not allowed to return until Thursday morning (which we did) , but due to traffic and gas issues, we got home Friday at 2:30 am. My husband got up as early as he could to empty the trailer and get it back in the morning time because when I called on Tuesday to find out about extending the rental to Friday, we were told we had to have it back by 7 am, 8 am at the latest or we would be charged another day. I told the girl on the phone that I wasn't sure if we would make it back in time for that early in the morning, could we bring it in a little later that day and not get charged, she said she would have her supervisor call me. No one called. My husband got the trailer in before 10 am and they still charged him the extra day, even though they told him to his face they wouldn't. We paid almost $260 for a trailer to evacuate our family from a potentially life threatening situation, only to see an article touting U-Hauls horn because they offered FREE storage to hurricane Irma victims. We are Irma victims, too, but we were charged more than what we were told, which hurts more because this was not something we could have afforded if we weren't evacuated and now we can't afford to buy food for the next two weeks. The people were nice and the service was good, but the truck ran very rough. I'm not sure if that is a reflection on the location. That's the company's call.

I called asking if they had a 10ft truck they said yes got there ten mins later and they said no trucks were 19.99 and only thing they had was 39.99 and 15 ft.ask to drop off at location in holiday they said yes then put there address for drop off experience was not what I expected I had to drive extra miles to drop back off in Port Richey instead of holiday costing me more money in gas as well as miles

My only complaint is the construction that is going on. It would have been nice if the construction workers could have stopped for a moment while my rental was being setup. Other than that, both guys that helped me were super friendly and nice.

I tried to use your 1-88-GOHAUL phone number and was pestered by the rep insisting i get a $100 free gift card. I called three times and got the same crap. They refused to change my order without getting a free gift card. I do not want WalMart gift cards I wanted reasonable service from a national company. Get it together with your service line

I reserved in advance and rented 4 Uhaul trucks and 1 car hauler from this location in a few weeks time. The third 26 ft Uhaul was older. I was concerned with it and asked for a newer truck. I was told that those were for round trips and this was the only one way truck available. This truck had some dented area on the exterior front corner driver side of the box and I mentioned that. It looked like someone misjudged their height. Anyway, as we loaded the truck, it began to rain. It leaked all inside the truck. We had to use buckets to keep the water out and fans to dry our cherry furniture. I was very unhappy with it but had no choice but to use it since it was partially loaded and we were on a deadline. I will never rent a truck with damage again. The 4th truck, a 15 ft was a good truck and easy to handle. We were repeat customers and I felt that we should have had some consideration on the truck.

The truck had a leak in the roof just behind granny's attic. Other than that it was great. I can't believe that uhaul would put the agents in a working construction area breathing concrete dust everyday. Get a temporary mobile home or something for these dedicated employees.

I was happy only with service where I picked up my truck on Hwy 19 Port Richey. My storage unit where things was kept has no customer service to brag about. I had my free month in July, lost my phone and struggling in August. Living in a motel, It took me 6 months for uhaul to give me a voucher for%50 for the bad moving experience O had in January/February. I was told on pre-recorded line that if I turned my equipment in early because on disability, that I would have a refund. That storage did not help me with nothing but my free storage O had coming to me. I ended up having to go to hotel where I got but up by bed bugs. That storage I it got broke into (about 23units), nothing was stolen from mine and they reached my lock, however, when moved into next unit in June or July, got free month again because owed 1. I got voucher from Corporate for $50 and Hudson uhaul told me had to call to get it taken off storage, reduced current Bill to $80&change. I am handicapped so sent daughter over with voucher and my ID, they would not let my daughter in To unit because my phone number had not been changed, so daughter came back bone, we was going to rent uhaul and all from them. We ended up renting truck from Hwy 19 location. They finally told me my daughter could come to get things out of storage next day, they racked on another $60 late fee which was not supposed to be added until 27th. I had to bitty money to do that, moved items and really need to get MY $50 returned to me because I am on a fixed income. My address is 8616 Pioneer Lane Port Richey, FL 34668. I have been using Uhaul for over 10 years for storage needs and I PROMiSE I WILL NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN. All of the people I met at this location were extremely friendly and helpful. I attempted to use the on line rental option but the app couldn't find my location so it would not work but that option would be quite convenient if it did.

Horrible. My drop off destination, which I was told would be a key drop off, required I move the truck 30ft for him to inspect. I moved the truck. He did not inspect while I was there. He did not look at me, aside from screaming and waving in the parking lot, took the keys and did not say a word. The ONE customer there, seemed to be all he could handle. That and putting out his hand for the key, without another word. Then charged me $20 for something ..... I will not use UHAUL again. I will discourage anyone I know to use UHAUL, and maximize my career in Online Reputation Management to assure this.
