When dropping off trailer staff was going to guide me in. I do not back up trailers. She got frustrated and finally got the dolly to move the trailer. When I asked if I could help she just kept saying I needed you to back it in. She finally told that was all, have a good day, and your receipt will be emailed to you. Never even got her name.

GERALDINE TMake sure not to get vehicles mixed up when inspecting them. I rented a 15 ft U-Haul 2/1 @ 6:14 PM and went and picked up a set of new couches from a co worker of mine. I paid with my bank card that is issued from the bank I’m a manager for. I returned the truck the next morning 2/2 @ 9:18 AM and parked 4 vehicles behind the first vehicle in line to drop off and I left the truck completely clean as when I got it. I gave the employee Aniya L the key and she said I was ok to go. I noticed on my account a couple days later I was charged an additional $41.75 and when I called, Aniya said it was due to me turning the vehicle in after hours and weed being found in the cabin which is crazy because I don’t smoke at all and I turned the vehicle in at 9:18 AM like my receipt says. She refunded me $21.75 for the after hour fee when she noticed their mistake but refused to refund the $20 cleaning fee for weed being found in the cabin. I asked to see a paper report or check list with the vehicle stock number showing it was in the truck I rented and she said they only take pictures of the vehicles on their personal decide and upload to the system. If they got my truck confused with another truck that was returned after hours and charged me for the after fee incorrectly, they had to have charged me for someone else’s cabin being left with a mess. I am very disappointed in this service as I have used U-Haul many times and have never had issues or problems with them before and if you check my file, it will show I never had to have been charged a cleaning fee due to me always returning the vehicles clean.

THERON MMaybe remind or train staff on customer service techniques and what NOT to do. When I walked up there were two workers who just looked at me. After I exited my car and the walk of about 20' they just stared at me. Then as my hand reached for the front door, the lady yells across from the parking lot top volume asking if she can help me. She, nor the gentleman, stepped towards me, just kept yelling. Zero effort whatsoever. So... I yelled back same volume. Both of us not moving. And ENTIRE conversation with no one moving. She advised me to wait inside. I go inside and the staff behind the counter was great. HOWEVER, I was wholly confused who to work with becase i had just given all my info to the lady outside. Remember, the lady told me to WAIT inside. I told the counter staff this and shared my frustration. In the end, the outside two were HORRIBLE. The inside dude was great.

GIAVONNA SGravel driveways make it very difficult to move heavy items. While concrete is more expensive to install, it makes the usage experience much simpler. If the lack of concrete resulted in lower prices, I might still recommend it to individuals who had lighter items, but the price point does not justify this cost saving measure and the inconvenience it creates when moving. Staff were spectacular in every way.

SONJIA CWorst customer service ever, don’t ever call to dispute your bill, go there in person coz they’ll keep putting you on hold and direct you to the 1800 U-Haul customer service. Workers here need to learn proper phone etiquette and customer service skills. Was Charged $500 for a 2 day rental and no one could explain it to me. I prefer the U-Haul rental on power inn road-7051 power inn rd.

HOANG HGravel may be a cheaper surface but unless that is reflected in the price of the units, it is inconvenient to cart goods across such an uneven and unpredictable surface. For example, because of the gravel paths, I would avoid using this surface in rainy areas, and might discourage someone from moving heavy items into it. The alarm system is convenient because it means no gates are required to monitor access.

CELESTE MI rented a pick up truck from this location and had one issue that could have gone negative quickly. The check out was fine. However, upon returning the rental, I was told that I done some damage to the truck. I had not. The representative showed me a picture which they took from their phone where the metal had scraped off and it was down to the metal. I'm not sure how I missed this during the intial walk through. Maybe it was becuase on teh roof edge where most people dont look for sratches. The rep was insistent that the damage was not there before. I asked to see my photos I submitted when i checked out the truck. Here is where Uhaul really dropped the ball. They do not let you keep the photos in your own camera roll when you submit the pictures. They simply take your photo and upload it to their server. But in doing this, they severly degrade the quality of the photo. They showed me the graniest photo ever. Apparently, anytime you use their app or checkout process, it compresses the picure to a laughable quality. The picure was so fuzzy that you can barely make out if a scratch was there or not. I asked to see the prior check out for comparison as it was obvious there was no way to see the scratch on my submitted photo due to uhuals compression of the photo. They showed me prior customers checkout photo, and wouldn't you know it, it had the image quality of the first Nokia phone with a camera. For some reason the rep said the scratch was not there on that photo. Mind you, the image is so grainy that you can barely make the edges of the truck line let alone any scratch on the truck. Luckily at this point, a manager took over the call and showed me a picture from one more checkout prior to last two. On that picture, you can see, just barely, the scratch and ding apparatus placed on the truck. Uhaul puts plastic tabs that break off if you ding them. I pointed out to the manager the yellow tab was intact a few rentals ago and you can see on my photo that it was not intact on my photo nor the prior rental. Things Uhual needs to improve immediately: 1. Please update your system to not degrade photos! Especially if there are scenarios that involve scratches that may be billed. 2. If you suspect a customer has scratched a car, please do some basic research like checking prior photos from other customers. In this scenario, it was obvious that that the scratch and accident indicator tab was damaged prior to me renting the truck if Uhaul had gone back and looked at prior photos (even with grainy photos) 3. For anyone that rents from uhual, make sure to take your own photos a,d vidoes, separate from the photos you submit to Uhaul. I genrally take my own photos and videos always from any rental. The one time i didnt, it came back to almost screwing me over. In this case, it was very much a he said/she said scenario. Have your photos and videos to show to the uhual reps becuase if you rely on their app or online check in process, the photos will be degraded to such a low quality, that there is going to be no way to dispute any issues of scratches missed. 4. There was a nail in the truck tire. And no uhaul, I did not place it in the tire. It was there already. I only noticed it as i was working on ground near tire. Please patch it before it blows out on a customer. Left rear tire. I've genrally had decent experiences at uhual. However, this was an eye opening experience of a uhual rep insisting that I had done damage to a vehicle when I knew I had not. Lesson learned, whenever I rent anything from anywhere, make sure to take my own photos and do an entire walk around video.
SHAH KTrain staff at this location. Abdullah A., rejected my request for check in receipt. I asked this question twice. Should, I go inside to obtain check in receipt. Abdullah repled no, your good. Corporate called me 11/5/24 at 7:35am. Indicating check in process hasn't been completed. Unit was checked in 11/4/24 at 3:00 pm.

Sadly they don't have a car dolly or I would cancel my reservation with the Citrus Heights location and rent it from 47th. From the staff to the hours to the convenience of the location. Here is what I would like to see improved. The sign in method (card swipe) does not turn off the alarm system if the alarm goes off. I would want a better system that allows a card swipe to turn off the alarm when staff is not around to turn it off. Other than that the experience I've had at Uhaul whether that is the transportation aspect or the storage unit has been nothing short than a quality experience. 5 stars in my book!
