I purchased 24 hour access. There’s a two step process for entering the building after hours, and it was not explained to me. When I got to the storage facility, I could not get in. The alarm system station is not listed on the map and there were no directions provided at the door. None of the call box buttons worked, and the phone number listed would not respond to calls or texts. Because of this, I was unable to enter the building and could not put items into my storage unit.

The staff was unfriendly from the beginning to end. Saying we had taken a dolly. It turns out they had no idea what they were doing. I rented a small truck opted out of everything. The truck I was given had a utility dolly. I was moving mattresses and had no use for a dolly. Upon returning the truck 2 hours early. I was given a call saying there was another dolly in the truck and it wasn’t given back. My truck rental for less than 4 hours was more than I have ever paid at U-Haul before. I am very dissatisfied! pretty satisfied. . reserved online, went in next morning, they scanned my license, I mentioned I might need a second day, fella said we could set it up for two days, and if I cancelled day 2 my card would just get the second day refunded. . I used the second day, they let me park empty truck on lot overnight so I could pick up my car. . I eventually rented it a third day, returned it after hours, dropped key in night box, received an online receipt for the addl days charges. . truly hassle free.

The straps provided were impossibly tangled so took us an extra 20 minutes to unravel and fix them before we could strap the fridge in the truck. But aside that was smooth and guy working the counter was great and helpful.

Always 100% reliable location. Managers are consistently excellent customer service. I do business with them 10-12 times a year and will do whatever I can to make sure any rental I make comes through this location... to the point that I no longer make a reservation by phone or online to make certain this is the location I do business with. Other units have been fine, but this one is remarkable.

My recent U-Haul rental experience. I dropped off the vehicle at 4 PM on the same day but did not receive my confirmation until 9 AM the following morning. Additionally, I received a phone call from a representative inquiring about the timing of my rental check-in. At the time of drop-off, I was assured by the employee that the vehicle would be checked in promptly. I also want to clarify whether any additional fees were charged, as I am uncertain about this. Furthermore, I did not utilize the moving blankets, and I was informed by the employee that I would not be charged for them. I would appreciate any clarification you can provide regarding these matters. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

Rented a truck advertised at around $20 for 4 hours. I initially rented storage online, but told them I didn’t want it when I saw it was too small. The girl there told me “7-10 days” until I get refund. I had truck for 4 hours. It didn’t have dolly I paid for, which wasn’t a big deal. I topped off tank less than a mile from drop off, so tank was full. Altogether, they charged me over $60. They then took a storage rental payment after I CANCELLED storage. This is in addition to the initial payment which I refunded(but have not yet received. I’ve spent around 150 for a four hour box truck rental. Manager issued refund, but expressed zero regrets for screwing me and my bank account. Still waiting on both storage refunds having never rented from them. Inconsiderate, unthinking and unprofessional. Use another location

Always use U-Haul for all my moving needs as recommended to friends and family which use it also I only have one concern about this last move. It chose there’s two charges. They were supposed to be one charge and then actually zero charge for that for that month other than I paid for storage insurance. If you could let me know why those charges are still on my account please let me know

Excellent experience and very quick and simple drop off process. The clerk was very accommodating in that; while they were assisting another customer and waiting for a specific screen to load on the computer, the clerk saw me come in, verified I was returning and accepted my keys on the spot allowing me to essentially walk in / walk out in under a minute without interfering with the customer being helped out at the counter. I received my final receipt in a timely manner and without issue, great job by the staff at the Plano location.

My experience this time wasn't very pleasant with uhaul truck rental and storage. I had to drive out of my way to pickup a truck which delayed my moving process. I was given wrong info via phone to access my storage so had to wait another day before accessing my storage unit. But when I got there the storage was full of another tenants items so instead of waiting after the worker said it would take about 20 minutes to clean out I just got another storage. I was cool with that but the fact that no kind of discount was offered from storage for my ongoing troubles.

I had my unit for 22 years. There was a manager special with the 1st and 6th month free. This was written on my contract. I would still be storing my property there, but the new manager said they would not honor the contract from U-Haul. I do not understand how a new manager, still being U-Haul as the company, can just decide not to honor a U-Haul contract. I removed all of my property but it was not easy since the facility only has one flat cart for the whole property.

Until the day I moved out , I would have highly recommended this facility. I moved out 2 days after my monthly fee had been paid. (Over $214.00)I inquired at the desk about a proration of my payment and was told that it was too complicated to do that with their computer system. How odd?

Excellent and well maintained facility. I had no problems at all accessing my air conditioned storage unit whenever I needed to. There were also extra carts to help me move items from car to unit and back. All moving equipment was available to purchase or rent. The front desk got a bit busy at times, but it was not too bad.

I dealt with two different people there, and both were very nice and easy to work with. The lady that worked there even gave us some water when she saw I was getting overheated. Overall a very pleasant experience. If I need a Uhaul again in the future this is where I'm going!

A little expensive plus the $7.95 unit insurance which I found out yesterday was NOT mandatory that was considered a option but I was told it was so I paid it. Had no choice. Dustin, General Manager, and his wife were very attentive, patient, and professional in helping me decide on a unit size. He offered 1st month free and 20% discount on upcoming 2nd month in honor of my military service. He informed me that the founder of U-Haul is a veteran. I secured the unit but expressed actual move-in around mid March. Dustin said he's willing to adjust the dates, to just call him when I actually move in my items. Excellent customer service.

Well overall the stay was good, then we had a water leak and more then half of our stuff was ruin. When tried talking to manager to file a claim it was impossible. So still don’t know how to file a claim to get out stuff fixed. We got one number to call and it was just the main number and couldn’t get a hold of anyone

I had a great experience. I came in on Friday to rent my space and unfortunately I did not have everything I needed, I met the lady which is one of the managers. She went above and beyond to help me She was very nice and helpful. I went back on Saturday and met the gentleman which he was excellent and helpful as well. When I pulled up in my uhaul truck, the tenant ran out and was yelling at me to leave?? she said "Your not supposed to be here your supposed to be at the other side of town" ?
