PAUL MTrailer was dirty but General Manager cleaned it before I left. I used App to request Extended Time for Return and App said I could not extend it because trailer was being rented to another customer. I called Beechmont store and they said I could extend it and it was not reserved for a future customer. This is the second time I've had problems with UHaul App, it needs some serious review.
BRUCE BThis is not a criticism of Steve Torbeck or Beechmont store, which I have always given a 5 star rating This is regarding Contract #73606253, Equipment # RV1170A. This trailer was just transferred to Beechmont store #770085. It never should have been allowed to leave the parking lot. 3 of 4 wheels had multiple lug bolts missing or broken. Tires almost fell off and could have caused significant damage or harm. Whoever did the last PM needs to be reviewed. Also looks like tires were recently replaced and lug bolt problem should have been detected then. I tried to access Roadside Assistance off the App but it took me to UHaul main page with no access to Roadside Assistance. No 800# on the contract so I had to call UHaul store for 800#. I was told Tire Service truck would arrive in 45 minutes, arrived an hour late. Tire service truck could not fix lug bolts so they had to call Tow Truck. Tow truck arrived and tow truck bed was not wide enough for UHaul trailer so extra time needed to remove tow truck rails. Overall, I called Roadside Assistance before 11:00AM and didn't get tow back to UHaul store until about 4:00 PM or about 5 hours wasted. Management needs to do a serious review of how this trailer got serviced and transferred in such a dangerous condition.

CHARLES SOf course, it’s Steve Torbeck when the doors first opened on Saturday morning. I’ve rented equipment from him since the day he arrived and through thick and thin, Steve always runs the best UHaul op I’ve ever seen. And I’ve rented across the country…….. He is always there to make sure you’ve got the right equipment to do the job. Can’t say enough about his dedication to the UHaul brand!

Jeroen SI have rented equipment from this location many times and they are always pleasant and professional. I believe the owner/manager has been there for many years as I recognize his face. Good to know there is stability in management.

JASON MThe trailer I rented was marked 5' x 9'. I drove close to 2 hours 1 way to pick up a lawnmower I bought that was 54" to find out it wouldn't fit. The trailer was only 52" wide not 60" like I thought a 5x9 trailer would be. This is a little deceiving and cost me a lot of money.

JOSE SDebris and paperwork left in cab. Smelled like someone smoked cigar in there. Truck ran fine. The staff member who checks people out needs to Tell customers that they need to check their phone text messages for the instructions to take pictures of the vehicle before they leave. I did this a couple weeks ago and it was already on the road when I noticed a text. Nothing tells or warns the customer of this obligation.
PETER CDave was very helpful, even helping attach the trailer. When i returned it another man told me where to put the trailer and that was it, thankfully /dave was there and he helped me take it off. The tongue is heavy and I can;t loft much.
DAVID WThe box wasn’t picked up by the carrier in time so it was a day late. In general the staff bent over backwards to remedy the situation. Big thank you to “Smoke” in Lakeland for his kindness and going out of his way. Overall positive experience. Thank you to the staff - especially “Smoke”!

David SThe rep was lazy. I had selected trailer insurance on my online reservation. When I came into to he store, the guy was sitting at the computer and tells a younger female co-worker to go get him a Mt Dew. She seemed put off by the request and I thought in this day in age ordering a young lady to get you a drink seemed odd, until I see how lazy he was. He asked my if I had scanned my drivers license on the app and I told him I tried but it kept failing. He then ask if I could do it on a PC. He seemed put off that he needed to do it. When he handed me my receipt I notice the insurance was missing. I asked him to add it. He said I would have to do it on the inspection link. However, I had to run home to get my receiver that I had forgotten. When I returned the inspection link had expired. I again asked him to add the insurance. He said he did. I wet outside waiting on him to follow to do the connection inspection. He didn't come out. I waited awhile and went back in the now he started taking care of a new customer and I had to wait until that was all done. I told him again that I did see any update in my email for the insurance. He said it was added and I would not get an update. When I got home and looked at the order I saw the insurance was never added. He just seemed very put off by doing work. I took a risk a used the trailer anyway and I sent an email via the contact us on the U-Haul webpage. This was just not a good experience.

SHERION MBest run UHaul store I have been in. Everything was professional and at a fair price. 11am appointment to get hitch on SUV. Work started on time and was done in one hour. Very happy with there operation.

JEFFREY BI would have to say the only complaint I have is that they told me when I got the vehicle that I had 7/8 of a tank so I had to have 7/8 of a tank back when I brought it back. When I started that thing up it was under 3/4. In retrospect it’s not a huge deal and not a dealbreaker. But I did drop $47 in gas in it.

BRIAN WBe a little more friendly. Park the vehicles in a safe place and direction. Not everyone is used to backing up a vehicle that they are not used to driving especially. It was difficult to see behind the van making it dangerous for backing.

Very very helpful - helped me get a "strange" situation figured out - easy from beginning to end - actually smoothest transaction since I started renting here and there about maybe 4 years ago? Only thing - and this has NOTHING to do with the location - has to do with UHAUL corporate - got bombarded with 3 back to back text messages asking me to submit my drivers license in advance? NO NO NO - UHaul fool me once - I was involved in your data breach a couple years ago for that EXACT SAME situation for submitting my drivers license electronically - sorry - no FOOLING me twice? But - always happy with my Uhaul rentals and this location - also VERY clean restroom!

JENNIFER JThe app BLOWS. I do not recommend the app. Go inside and check in with a human being. You’d think adding someone as an authorized driver and then texting them a link to “upload a picture of their license” would actually do that. Or maybe redirect them to a webpage or page in the app they can simply add their information. NOPE! I mean, you add someone, and they click on the link… and it opens the app and does nothing? The result is spending an hour trying to just fix it in person. Awful UI and UC design.

The 2nd month we were told only a very small unit was available. We rented large trucks and were supposed to receive comparable size storage. There actually was more than one large unit available. It was at that point we decided to discontinue any storage there. Very disappointing.
