Quick process, clean truck, easy return! There is a big downside with this location though. It seemed under staffed, so I waited 25 minutes in line. There were 2 people, but they were trying their best to get customers helped.

When I picked up my 17' moving truck I had high hopes for a good experience. That all changed when I returned to the facility and realized some of the practices of U-Haul were questionable when it comes to your 7/8 policy regarding the gas tank. I was told that if the truck were brought back with the tank at 7/8 full then there would be no additional charges for gas. When I left the facility after picking up I realized that the tank was only at 3/4 full. So my first question is "Why should I bring the truck back at 7/8 of a tank when I did not receive it with 7/8 of a tank?" My second question is "Why does your company not use a Full Tank of gas as its accurate measuring method like rental cars do?" When using any other increment the amount has too much wiggle room to be inaccurate. When I came back to the facility I notified the U-Haul rep that my tank was only at 3/4 tank when I rec'd it and his first question to me was "Do you have any proof? Did you take a photo showing this level with an employee to witness this? If you did, then we would make an adjustment." As I stated I didn't notice this tank level until I was on my way to my moving destination. I've never had to do this in the 37 years that I have been renting trucks for moving purposes. Does U-Haul realize that this type of 7/8 tank policy is not accurate and seems like a scam to me and other customers? The personnel at this location seemed knowledgeable and decent. It is the practice of this 7/8 tank from U-Haul that I question. I am not happy.

A guy by name of Jacob might need to be a little more polite .I understand the air was out that day and yes he was hit but so was I. I was asked many times over what kind of truck I had and when I answered the question .Ya I hear u but is it a Raptor or what .Again I told him what type of Truck I have it was very irritating.

The twisting bolt on the trailer hitch was difficult to turn at times. If possible losen it.

1. Have the store answer their phone. I was forwarded to Atlanta while trying to rent in Cincinnati. I was inquiring about an area to leave my car parked and Atlanta did not know. The call center forwarded my inquiry with a request for a call back which was never made. Being able to contact the store directly would help. 2. If I have a rental for 24 hours don't ask when I plan to have it back and pencil in that same afternoon. If I have it back earlier than my 24 hours it's within my time frame. If it's earlier it's a bonus. I wasn't pro-rated the daily fee for returning early and was still charged the same mileage. The exact time of my return, unless it's going to be late, should not be an issue.

If you tell a customer there U-Haul at a location is “reserved and guaranteed” for a time and date at a location,then that should be what they get.not change it 14hours before to a different location and different truck then when I call right after you switched it I set on hold for a hour just to be told it’s to late to speak with someone.you can change it to hurt me at that hour but not fix it to help me that’s a bit ridiculous.If it’s a flotation reservation then say that not “reserved and guaranteed” it’s a little deceiving. Also the truck I drove is dangerous and does not need to be on the road.it has some serious issues and needs to be removed from service and looked at and fixed.if you have any questions feel free to call me 5133447047 I can explain the truck issues I observed and give pictures.i don’t mean to be a terrible complaining person at all but overall my experience with U-Haul was absolutely terrible and I would like to bring these issues to light if you are not aware of them.the location I went to was ok outside of there dangerous truck but U-Haul overall was terrible.

I was lied to buy customer service about my storage unit that I have rented at that location. She told me that I would have a storage unit that I could just back the U-Haul up directly to the storage unit. That was not the case at all, I had to go down hallways 12 steps while caring extremely heavy things, like dressers, a hutch that probably weighs 200 lb at least, so I am not pleased at all about being lied to I would have never taken that storage unit. There is a place 5 minutes down the road where I could have got the type of unit that I wanted for the same exact price but since I was already there I decided to take it but I am very dissatisfied and do not like being lied to! I feel like I should get some type of discount on that storage unit just for the simple fact that I was lied to and deceived by your customer service.

The truck I was given was unsafe, overheated several times, allowed gallons of water in the cargo area damaging many things, and due to a faulty transmission cost me several hundred dollars extra in fuel.

U-Haul helped me setup my rental and the time was wrong when I showed up. They scheduled the wrong time for my rental. They did not have an adequate replacement for me, gave me a smaller vehicle and cut my time with the vehicle down to less than half my original rental agreement. They were not courteous whatsoever. The person behind the counter announced that I was there first mistake of the day (loud enough for other customers to hear), though it was U-Haul who messed up my order. I will not recommend this place to anyone. The disrespect I received was appalling and embarrassing.
