THOMAS CTruck rental: Advertised rate was per day. 6 hours is not a day. Was 1 hour late. Was charged for another day. Storage: Time to move out. Called when rental was due on the 31st. Advised that I was moving out on the 3rd. Asked if I still needed to pay rent. Answer yes and no problem rated discount. Never again will use your Storage facility and will advise anyone to do the same. RIPPED OFF AT EVERY POINT OF SALE

STEPHEN LThe promised and paid for climate control was not achieved summer 2024 with temperatures nearing 100 degrees inside the climate controlled second floor, resulting in damage of my items stored there. The store manager made many many promises to address the concern, as well as provide me a second storage unit that was properly controlled, none of which came to fruition. Also there were homeless junkies consistently camped out on the premises, another issue that was never addressed.

James PU-Haul was old and dirty. Steering column glued together. Ceiling ripped and falling down. Whole truck shakes when you drive it. Windshield dirty, floor dirty and had pringles all over it. Steering wheel had a layer of black residue that I wiped off after touching it and felt a gross texture. Retire this truck- it’s dead.

DENNIS BThe check in / out staff were great. Very short move but after the truck was loaded the ABS and Stabilitrack came on. After we unloaded it went off after a minute on the next start. Check out person said he would make a note and have it looked at which is the perfect thing to say. You have very good people at this location. Checkout person even took the time to call me and let me know I had left a drink cup in the vehicle, once again proactive nice offer of service.

SEAN WThe guys were helpful once I got out of my truck and walked over and asked what I should do. The signage is was pretty confusing. Granted it was 8:00 in the morning but that was the time I was redirected to take it to a new place. It was a clean and solid U-Haul and I'm sure they have their good days and I perhaps hit a bad one. But if I'm going to get a phone call mid move to confirm what had already been discussed and ask if I might take it to a new place I should expect to be expected not have to figure it out myself. Unlike a little gas station location this is a U-Haul command post. I expect a little more. Overall I will naturally rent again because, who else can you go to?

How about having a reserved vehicle at the location where it's expected? This is at least the fourth time this has happened to me in various places.

Scott P | Overall ExperienceI had a lot of trouble accessing my unit. Repeatedly my access card didn't work. I was given another one which still didn't work. The sliding doors which should be open during business hours wouldn't function. This happened on repeated visits. Although my unit was on the second floor, somehow lower items suffered water damage. Boxes were stuck to the floor from the moisture and items inside were covered with mold/mildew.

I like u haul storage but the low prises online are anything compared to what I was actually charged.

From picking up my U-Haul in Gardnerville Jimmy I believe that was the young man's name God forgive me if I'm wrong, as I lived in California Bishop California 3 hours from where I had to pick up a U-Haul as Bishop people wanted $7,000 to rent a U-Haul to move to Texas insane. So from Reno to Bishop to Texas didn't work out Texas to Arizona love you guys so much so helpful thank you thank you thank you God bless you all.

I cannot use it without banging on it with a hammer. Difficult to lock my items & until it is fixed—NOT SURE HOW LONG YOU WILL DELAY THAT. 3) I am challenged with any loads I want to take there. 4) I still don’t know if this unit will be large enough since I lost significant space with the 30”+ diameter concrete post in the center! 5) Could not even get the climate-controlled unit I reserved! Your crew there did all they could to assist me. My dilemma with the unit closure not working is not their fault. Notes were made to alert me when a unit that I attempted to reserve becomes available. At that time I will decide if I want to pay movers AGAIN to move my items. Would YOU feel optimistic with these circumstances???

This location also charged me a month earlier than both what they were supposed to and what was confirmed online, causing a $36 overdraft fee and draining my bank account while I was already having money deposit issues. I’ve also tried contacting the general manager for the Cave Creek location multiple times and no one has gotten back to me on anything even when they deign to answer the phone. They take a message and the call is never returned. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I’m just really frustrated with my experience and that I’m basically being ignored.

It would be nice to see offers from you about discounts on first month move in when you are a new customer with no previous rental history to get the first month free. Its just too hard to come up with the rental agreement number from 3 momths ago right after you have moved. That was the only bummer. and it took time to look it up and caised atress way too much for the first month

JENNIFER M | First ImpressionsI received an email notification to remind me to pay my rent on time, so I went online and tried to set up an automatic payment with my credit card, but it said it was through a third party and they would charge a small fee to process my payments. Then I noticed I could set it up with my checking account and it was free, so I did that. I didn’t screen shot the final screen (my mistake) because it said I would get an email confirmation, but never received one. Then a few days later I got an email saying I had a late charge on my account and it then allowed me to set up automatic payments on my credit card for free. I went in and talked to a general manager and they didn’t do anything. So I closed my account and moved my stuff to another location. I’ll never use Uhaul again.
brittani l | Overall ExperienceI believe the yellow paint on the parking lot for slope should not be so slippery as to make my foot slide down it as soon as it touched it causing my ankle to break and be dislocated and land me in a sitting position! It should be a rougher consistency so that a person can get a grip if they step on it!

On our second unit we paid on the 25th and moved everything out the 18th with no money back for the days not used. Expensive. Love it but may need to choose a different storage next time.
