Katie MI reserved a U-Haul on 1/9/2026. The truck rented that day has a mechanical dysfunction. The truck will accelerate suddenly while I am switching from parking to driving and even before I step on the gas pedal. Because of this mechanical dysfunction, I got an accident at a gas station. When I started the car and shifted from parking to driving, the car suddenly accelerated rapidly before I step on the gas pedal and the truck hit a car parked in the front, which the driver just finished filling the gas. I reported to U-Haul about the mechanical desfunction. However, U-Haul still charged me $644 to repair the bumper. It's the mechanical dysfunction caused the accident. It's not MY fault, It's so unfair.

GARY FI realize that it's February and a lot of salt gets attract inside the trucks but this one really could have used a thorough cleaning on the inside. However even though it had over 90,000 miles it ran perfectly. The staff at this location was professional and helpful.
TIMOTHY WThe employee at the location had no customer service skills. He didn't make an effort to come out with us, show us a truck and do walk through. He wanted to charge us after for preexisting damage, but since we had recorded the video prior getting the truck he was not able to, then he charged us for the gas which we filled up before returning to match preexisting level. I have been using Uhaul for many years for moving and storage in other cities, and this was the poorest experience I have had. He was not unpleasant, but just lazy, dry and with no customer service skills or engagement.

Sign in the window, still covered in snow with no snow brush. Once returned, they did not check the vehicle over and charged me for not having returned the pads I rented. Had to call twice to get it resolved.

WESLEY VThe tank was filled to 3/8 full when I kicked it up. I put 2 gallons of gas in to bring it back to that spot. I only drove 2 miles. The receipt I just got showed they had to add 3 gallons and now it’s at 7/16 full. What kind of BS is this? Are you trying pinch every penny possible? Yeah it’s only $4/gal (gas is <$3/gal now) x3 gallons but WTF? Why did you overfill and charge me?

JOSE HDropped off U-haul on scheduled date. Personnel did not do what they needed to do in the system to check the vehicle in. Received text requesting drop off the next morning and was on hold with U-haul for 45 minutes. Had to go to return location to demand they take action after seeing the vehicle in the lot. Key was on the 'Action Needed' hook. Incompetent and slow service. Customer service rep was visibly using a THC pen when vehicle was returned.

Did have an issue where I couldn't find the check in kiosk but that's more on me than the location (didn't read the giant sign) would have liked for the drive thru drop off to be open when we arrived but that's understandable as they cannot leave that open access all night long. But location is good ,clean and well maintained.
