But I'm going to have to change units to my pleasant cause I'm unable to walk to çhurch St plus I don't have a car to access church St. I made a mistake and hope I can change facility since my neurologist said if I fall í could end up paralyzed. Not good. I will contact the U-Haul storage facility tomorrow to sée if I can change units. Thank you very much.

LAURENT SI had very little contact with the Fall River U-Haul location and the Fall River staff. So it is difficult to rate the Fall River location. The staff was helpful but I wouldn’t necessarily call them friendly. I chose the number of containers without soliciting help from Fall River staff. I was happy with the number of containers I chose.
Steve II am totally shocked. I received an additional $20.00 charge that I was unaware of and was never charged before. They charged me for dropping off the trailer after hours. I do this to return the trailer ASAP and help them be able to rent it to someone else sooner. No one ever mentioned this charge. This was the first time I have ever been charged this. Shocking that I was charged approximately 40% of the rental fee for dropping it of before 7 am. I actually dropped if off about 7:15 pm on Sunday. I could have dropped it off Monday after 7am but no one made me aware they would bill me for being nice. I will reach out to Mgr and see about a credit. If no credit "disappointingly" I will no longer use Uhaul.

Clifford MWhen our truck pick up location was moved, but we were not told that our supply purchases were not be coming from the new location...We had to call the old location, cancel the purchase, and purchase the same supplies at the new location. Need better communication from the automated email we got.

Elizabeth BThe equipment was great, but the employee needs customer service training. The first thing he said was “you’re late” when I came to pick up the vehicle. The reservation was for 2:00 and I arrived at 2:45 however the vehicle was already paid for in full.
KYLE PI had reserved a truck at the West Yarmouth location on Cape Cod for a 9am Saturday morning pickup. Two days before pickup I was called and told that I would have to pick up the truck off the Cape at the New Bedford location, an hour away. As a result I needed to pickup the truck the night before as movers were coming first thing the next morning. This means it had to be an after hours pickup as I could not be there before the location closed. Upon getting there could not get the lock box open. After working with customer service and wasting 20 minutes finally got the lock box open and got the key. The truck was not parked in the assigned spot so spent the next 20 minutes trying to locate the truck on a HUGE parking lot. The entire experience was a nightmare. I will say that the regional help center were friendly and helpful. They were the only positive thing with this rental.
John DI rented a 6 X 12 trailer and the rental before me used it to load mulch. The trailer was never cleaned and I had to spend a half an hour cleaning it before I could use it. I asked for a partial refund and was offered nothing. Not a good way to earn repeat customers...
FRANCIS MIf the self check in process is so time consuming it should be addressed in the booking process so people are aware to get there 15-20 mins earlier to complete. Leaving a truck with only 37 miles left of gas and not including in details that you’ll need to fill gas tank BEFORE the move is super unprofessional and created very unnecessary stress. I was told by the gentleman working that they can’t fill the gas tanks when the manager isn’t there on weekends. To no fault of his own, this sounds wildly counterintuitive since that’s when they are probably the most busy and instead I had to suffer and add that to my stress of my moving day when I had planned to just refill the tank when we were done prior to returning like one would normally expect.

CAROLYN MTrain your employees in customer service. How to automate service AND still provide exceptional customer service should be the number one priority in management, something that your team is obviously missing.
LAWRENCE GAfter a hellasiuos experience with Lakeville and Kingston-Hanson was the only one with a truck I could take and still had to go to New Bedford to get a car carrier. I spent so much time driving around and wasting my money on helpers just to get what I reserved 3 weeks in advance. I was told I would get a refund. And still haven't seen it. If I can help it I will NOT be using u-haul again. To much BS.
NICOLE PThe overall experience was fantastic, everything was smooth, right from the delivery of the empty boxes at origin, picking up of boxes, transport, and delivery/pickup at the destination. I moved from MA to MN, and I got quotes from other moving companies, but on average they were 2x the price quoted by U-haul. The price-to-service ratio for U-haul made it a clear choice for me. I will definitely recommend U-boxes for any out-of-state moves!
Gaurav VOnly one person working when I dropped off trailer was too busy to provide receipt that I had dropped it off. I understand inspection needs to be done but would like a receipt when dropped off by text or email.

Victor FI would like a call back from Monica asap. VERY POOR customer service as she SOLD my storage unit- put it multiple calls/attempts to speak with her and she NEVER returned them. Her front desk staff at her church st location, informed me that is actually the norm for her and many other customers also complain about her not returning their phone calls either. Very unprofessional and unfair at the same time, esp for being a business owner!!

The only thing I would change is that I felt the rental fees were not explained in full. I rented the pod for a month before pick up. I paid that and then they asked for another payment for time spent with Uhaul. I did not feel that part was explained.

VASCO RI don't know if manual booking is an option when the internet is not working properly. Maybe it should be reevaluated. The internet was down the day I needed a moving van. I booked it the next day, but my day was hectic because of a lack of availability.

Airton RThe management was horrible. They were disrespectful. You can’t even communicate with them. They hang up on you on the phone. They overcharged you for things that you did not use. You don’t get refunded for the right things. They tell you that you can have it for a full day and then they charge you for another day. I would never ever go to that facility. Go anywhere but Uhaul on Church Street for Management .

When picking up my vehicle the vehicle was very dirty, I asked to have it cleaned or for a paper towel to try and clean it myself and the gentleman stated that I just lift up the middle seat and I wouldn’t be able to see it, he did not offer to clean it or disinfect. The steering wheel very sticky, middle compartment sticky with dirt, door handles sticky. When returning the truck they stated I did not fill the gas to the right spot, after further checking with a u-haul representitive they told me I DID in fact put the right amount of gas and that there should not have been a gas fee. The location seems to be unprofessional, and not worthy with wanting to help a customer the proper way.
SAMANTHA MAbsolutely horrible experience from start to finish. Your company caused so much unnecessary stress and frustration, wasted over 5 hours driving around bristol county to Plymouth county to north of Boston to acquire the auto transport that was 'guaranteed' available to me 20 minutes from my house. All while employees showed zero care to resolve the situation and proceeded to belittle our frustrations. Completely unsatisfied. Do better

Sharon CI rented my trailer for 24 hours at 8:30am. I returned it at 8:15am the following morning. A day or two later I noticed on my credit card account that I was double billed. No phone call, nothing. I had to call the location all morning before I could get someone to answer the phone. The person who finally answered stated that someone put in the computer that I returned my trailer at 10:20am which is nonsense. I told them to check their cameras and asked why no one called me asking where the trailer was if they thought it was beyond my return time. She stated that she would refund my second charge and now, 24 hours later, it isn't showing as having been refunded. You really should bill people without as much as a phone call. I returned my trailer on time, into it's exact parking space and would have never known I'd been charged if I didn't happen to notice it on my c.c. statement. That's bordering on fraud.
JOSEPH II specifically go to this location when renting a U-Haul, and I've moved often in the area. It is large, clean, efficient, offers everything and John, the in-location service manager/representative is knowledgeable and goes out of his way to be helpful. Makes all paperwork and details very simple.
DUNCAN CEverything from start to finish was great. The drivers that delivered and picked up the boxes on both ends were friendly and competent. We will definitely recommend this service to other people.

All the agents and staff people that I interacted with were well versed and knowledgeable about the [U-Haul] moving process beginning to end and that was very helped to me. While there were a couple hick-ups, they were handled with ease by the U-Haul team. What can you do to improve for the next customer? - I'd say continue with strengthened current hiring practices/requirements. Also, 3-rd party arrangements like the 2 Jacked Guyz, that I also used for this move, were terrific. Can't say enough great things about the two guys that were on site. Again, good pick for partnership or whatever the arrangement is. Thank you.

My entire party felt that they did not want to be there and it was a weird tense feeling, especially after the “manger” was rude on multiple occasions and then left us for an hour to help other people as we were still waiting on an answer as to why our rental was not available and what could be done. This mistake costs us 4 hours of a police detail that we had waiting for us as we planned a move out day and uhaul pushed those plans out by 1.5hrs.

It is 2023 and I was being degraded because I am a woman. It went on a little while longer while I was asking about my U-Box that was delivered from Florida and he continued to contradict me every other sentence. I ended hanging up on him. I went in Wednesday October 11th and what a difference, the workers were excellent and were truly caring and so helpful.

My one negative is that it took FOREVER to unload our truck because the units we got were as far away as possible from the unloading zone we had to use. We were told the indoor unloading area would not be tall enough for U-Haul's 26-foot truck, which resulted in a 2-minute walk to get from the truck to the unit. We spent almost 2 hours just walking back and forth to the units. I wrongfully assumed that all of the unloading areas at a U-Haul storage facility would accommodate U-Haul-branded trucks, which made for a drawn-out and unfortunate unloading process.

In the instructions there was no procedure give as to how to use the access code. There is a sign on the building that states you need a swipe card to gain access after hours. This I found out was not true. If you use key pad on the right then the one on the left it will open. Sitting on the phone and speakin g with customers service , why wouldn't the rep ask us to try this procedure first. Instead all my belongings had to sit in the back of trucks exposed to the weather and being stolen. Bottom line I was beyond upset

When we reserved they did not tell us that we had to go to a different location to do the paperwork and get the unit number and access code. The young man who waited on us at Mt. Pleasant st. (Rob) went above and beyond to help us. This young man was so pleasant and professional.
GEORGE T | First ImpressionsI do suggest putting a ramp on the building entrance(s) so dolly can be rolled in/out of building. Currently you have to step down about 5” which is not convenient or safe for moving items in/out of building and may cause injury to people especially when moving large household items. Also something to hold the door open to make moving items from truck into building more efficient.

After the 3rd person, we found out the unit was at a totally different site. We went to the new site, only to find that we still could not get in…because we had STILL not received proper instructions! We ended up not using the unit and would not recommend your facility to anyone else. We wasted about an hour and a half out of our day.

El centro de almacenamiento todo un problema para abrir las puertas un servicio deficiente en el aspecto de almacenamiento. Pero en el servicio de alquiler de camiones excelentes. El personal que me atendió en el alquiler es grocera. Por eso mismo cancele el alquiler del almacén espero me devuelvan el dinero ya que la empleada no me dijo nada de la devolución del dinero. NORAIMA V | Overall ExperienceWhen I made the reservation it did not say I had to go to a different location to get the keys. When I went to get the keys I was told the units were still being built and were not available. After talking to the manager she sent someone to “do the walls” so that I could move in. When I got there the unit wasn’t even numbered. I waited nearly an hour at the unit for the person who was supposed to be doing something with the walls to come and tape a paper sign with hand written number in it. I was so disappointed with the experience. Also, in regards to cleanliness, there was a pair of men’s underwear and what appeared to be a sex toy as soon as you walk in on the ground. Also, to talk to anyone on the phone is a 30 minute hold time.
teresa k | First ImpressionsIt was actually the most inconvenient storage process I’ve ever experienced. There was absolutely no employee on the premises. The email did not state that or which door to enter. My friend and I drove all around the building, in the rain, with our two SUV’s circling around trying to find out how to unload. We had to drive to another UHaul location and the employee there didn’t know what was going on either. She offered me the small box pods sitting outside, which isn’t what I had paid for online nor would it fit any of my belongings. She finally called someone and got actual directions. I tried calling UHaul several times and there was an hour wait every single time just to get to a representative for UHaul and I couldn’t get through. I finally have access to the unit but the hours are not convenient at all and neither was the process finding it.
