One bedroom house would need at least three pods. I had to get rid of so many items that I am struggling to replace based off of the recommendation of two pods. I tried to add a pod and customer service was not helpful and they said I might be charged a whole other delivery fee and they wouldn’t deliver the pods. Absolutely terrible customer service beginning to end. I wanted to keep my boxes longer at my house and the customer service pressured me to return them earlier than I wanted by weeks and then rescheduled pick up 3 times. This caused me to feel like I needed to hire help to move my items in my house quicker than I wanted and I didn’t have time to finish projects I wanted to get done before I moved everything in. I said I wanted to keep them longer multiple times and they pressured me to return them weeks before the end of my rental month. Absolutely ridiculous behavior from the reps from beginning to end. Absolutely will not recommend this service to anyone I know.

It would be helpful to be able to contact someone at this location by phone or email directly. I made a reservation online to have my UBox ready to access at 9 am, and when I showed up with movers at 10:30 am, the box was not pulled. It would be helpful to have the box ready at the time I requested, especially when I gave the location 1.5 hours of lead time! Thank you.

Kirsten AThe driver that came to pick up the trailer with boxes, was very disrespectful. She drove over my neighbors lawn instead of going down to turn around to stay off the lawn. She left slices in the lawn that will need to be repaired!
Janice VMy driver from Eugene seemed very stressed about driving through Bend. She said it took her 2 hours to find my house. I live relatively close to downtown, not even on a main city street. The area seemed to overwhelm her and I coached her on where to park on the phone.

Dan wI had the worst experience with U-HAUL this time around. I was asked to to a favor for them and I agreed thinking it wouldn’t be that big of a problem. I ended up pulling an empty U Box trailer behind my 15 foot truck. I have never pulled anything behind me before, which I was never asked by the customer service rep. By the time I got to my location to drop off the trailer, I was turned away and told to go to a place that took U Box trailers. Once I got to the second location, I was turned away AGAIN!! By this time it was already 11:30am, my 3 children have missed school and I haven’t gotten to unload ANY of the truck due to this trailer behind me. The lady at the 2nd location directed me to U Box storage warehouse…once I got there…they were surprised to see me because they don’t keep that size U Box trailers at their location. This man was so kind though and took the trailer off so that we could be on our way. He said this wasn’t the first he has seen U Haul do this to people. We were SHOCKED to say the least! I called U Haul to let them know of my horrible experience and they gave me $25 refund! What a slap in the face for doing THEM a favor, going out of MY way to help THEM!!! I will never do that again. And I warn anyone being asked to help, to say NO!!!!
