Nothing. I have been to 10 uhauls and rented from each of them, about 8 months ago I switched to this one only. Kayla, Tristen, Tazia, Collin, and Alek are all amazing, and are great at their jobs. Each of the surrounding UHaul places should take notes.

The app is horrible. It was not showing my reservation and there was no way to return truck via the app even though the signage at the location said to use the app. I had to use the website to return truck.

I did not get the name of the two men who helped me, but the one who checked me in and hooed up the trailer was very helpful. It was very cold and wet and he was cheerful and did a good job hooing it up. He explained evrything well. When I returned it I had the same experience with the other man. He removed the trailer and i didnt even get out of my truck. THaks alot for making it easy

I had an excellent experience renting a U-Haul trailer with a ramp. The trailer itself was in great condition—clean, well-maintained, and exactly what I needed. The built-in ramp made loading and unloading incredibly easy and safe, especially for heavier items. Everything functioned smoothly, from the hitch connection to the lights, which gave me real peace of mind on the road. The location was convenient, easy to access, and well organized. Pickup and return were both quick and hassle-free, which I really appreciated. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. When I got to uhaul the front door was inop and you had to manually open, no problem but the hitch didn't come in yet so I had to go back the next day. I arrived @ 845 (a) not realizing they opened at 9 I pulled the door open as I had the previous day and the mngr acted very rude and unprofessional. She indicated that they didn't open until 9 and I said ok but the door was open so, I came in, she corrected me in rude, fashion that I pulled the door open. I did pull the door open but as mentioned I had to on another occasion so simple mistake. No need to treat a customer rude bcs you're not smart enough to lock a door when you're closed. People enter unlocked doors all the time it's what we do to get in, hello. The dude who installed my hitch was cool he did a good job solid class 5 hitch. Out -

My order was changed by uhaul the day before and thus gave me an auto transport knowing I needed a toy hauler. I was stuck with the wrong equipment and they filling found me one 1.5 hours away when my reservation was booked weeks ago. The local branch tried to help while I waited for over an hour. At that point corporate had to intervene

My truck broke down on my to unload my truck. I was at a storage next to U-Haul. I got towed to my home with the U-Haul truck. They picked it up in the morning.

This U-Haul has all bases covered! The ease of selecting a truck, van or step van to tent for your moving needs on line is so easy. The rentals have descriptions of what the vehicles can hold such as how many rooms you’re using it for. Pay online, show up in the center, present your drivers license and off you go! The rentals are updated trucks and are very clean!

The 2.5 years I had a unit there, I’ve never had any issues until the day of move out 11/14/2025. As I was leaving the premises the gate seemed narrow and I had to back out and because i was under the door gate it started coming down really fast which hit the top of my rack of my SUV and I tried to attempt to it again it seemed even faster so I backed up in time before gate door came down on hood of my SUV, this was a dangerous situation all around the facility manager needs to aware of this so no future damages or injuries will occur. I am going to get my roof of my rack looked at today to make sure there are no dents or damage. I hope they will fix this issue and maybe widen the gate because a trailer can barely get in and out of there. Make sure the Senor on the gate is fixed or give it longer time to move out of the area. Very dissatisfied for that experience.

Where I do use other Uhaul services often, such as having trailer hitches added to my vehicles, renting trucks amd trailers. I would recommend renting a storage unit from you all as the pricing for closet size storage was extremely high in my opinion compared to other storage companies. Which is the main reason I removed my items and took them to another company.. I do believe in what I'm paying for should match and to gauge that I shop round. In saying that anytime I've had to do other types of business with youa I've had a great customer experience as the staff is always helpful, polite, and experienced. Renting trucks, trailers, placing hitches and buying boxes Ithe prices you've offered Noone usually can beat its just the storage rentals are a bit pricey for me.

I also had a trailer I towed from Maine. When I left I was not sure where I would be staying so I picked a random uhaul to drop it off at. I ended up picking this center to rent the storage locker because it was closest to where I ended up staying. The drop off uhaul for the trailer was about 20 minutes away but this ctr. was gracious enough to let me drop it off there saving me time and driving in this busy traffic. THANK YOU!!!

It was a pleasure to store our household belongings for 8 months. U-Haul Storage at Greenbrier was exceptionally clean, dry, the area was clean of all debris, driving in and out of the unit area was simple, and the roads were amply wide. This U-Haul facility was great but the locations I used in South Carolina to rent the equipment to come up to Virginia were absolutely awful, sent me to three separate locations to get a truck I reserved days prior, so unorganized and slow it was an absolute nightmare. As well as the truck I was given had multiple issues with the ramp and I almost broke my foot when the ramp pulled out too far and did not have a safety precaution to prevent this. Would never recommend U-Haul again and wish I could go back in time and go with another company.

The second lady was helpful but the first person I spoke with, a man was not. I left Detroit and U-Haul there put the wrong drop off location and the man was telling me to call or take the truck to the location listed on paperwork but i had an email from uhaul that said location I was at and spoke with phone Rep at U-Haul which reserved it. I moved from Detroit to Chesapeake, why would I want to drop off a truck in another part of Virginia??? I called the number he gave me and was on hold for awhile. The lady came and heard what was going on and called for me, got right through. If she had not helped me I would been figuring out how to drive to another part of Virginia I never heard of to drop off a truck. So I'm grateful for her help. I don't remember her name or if she was the manager but she wasn't dismissive like the first guy .

I was actually looking at using a competitor, but after an AWEFUL customer service encounter with the competitor I decided to call U-HUAL. From the moment the call was answered to the time I completed my paperwork at the office the customer service has been explementary. Everything was explained to me in detail, no questions, no surprises, easy peasy. I even got a larger unit than I was looking at the competitors place at a cheaper price and better access hours bonus! U-HAUL wins my business and my recommendations, all because the competitor uses a call center and those folks do not know the policies/program, wouldn't/couldn't answer my questions and could care less about me as a customer.

We love this Uhaul location, mostly because the staff is so professional & knowledgeable . The staff ( especially Krista, Summer, Autumn, & Christy are so VERY helpful & efficient, if they tell you something, you can believe them. When we have had issues with incorrect information from other Uhaul locations ( even out is state locations), we can call the Woodlake location in Chesapeake to get “ straight answers”! Those ladies are true gems!

The internet system for truck pickup was horrible. I was not in the system appropriately because after completing the online prompt they said I owed $16 so the computer would not send me a code. I was delayed and ascertaining the truck had to call the 1-800 number and had people standing around to help me move my father's belongings from one jurisdiction to another. I arrived for the storage they said the storage unit was not available and they had no record of my reservation horrible horribleu

Being from out of town, this was the first place I secured to store my things and I must say I’d never go to another location. I received the truck on E with no gas I had to fill up for almost $100 twice then when I returned it I get charged for not having a quarter tank. I believe that was so absurd. I payed just about $1000 for the truck and why did I have to fill it to a quarter when I picked it up empty? So stupid

Rating is about my storage units: Office and grounds were clean. Staff was helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend the storage units be inspected before renting. Some of my items got wet / mold due to the unit next storage (according to office mgr. heavy rain.) My unit also had loose insulation hanging down. I needed to inspect the units (3) before renting. I was in a pickle so I rented sight unseen and didn't have the manpower to move out at the time.KS

After reserving our storage unit AND calling twice the day we were arriving once we arrived we were told there wasn't a unit available. We were told that since we didn't work directly with this facility they couldn't guarantee there would be anything available. I explained that while we didn't work directly with this facility the UHaul person that was helping us did in fact work directly with Corban at this facility when the reservation was made. After well over an hour they found a unit for us but there was no sense of urgency, there was very little communication as to what was happening. We had 3 carloads of people waiting to help us unload the truck as this was the first night of the holiday weekend and everyone had plans for the weekend but still there was no sense of urgency. In addition to that once we got the truck unloaded at pulled it out front it was 8:12 PM and the two remaining employees were getting ready to leave but because it was 12 minutes after closing they weren't interested in actually helping me get the truck checked in. They they told me if I couldn't figure it out they would check it in the next morning for a $20. fee! I did not get the vehicle checked in on line as the email I rec'd didn't have a link to do so so I took pictures of the truck, mileage and gas gauges and dropped the keys in the drop box. I was not charged the $20 fee thankfully but the entire experience once arriving at the Greenbrier facility was not good at all. Also, there was another customer there who had made a reservation and taken time off work to be at her appointment at the Greenbrier facility and she was told her reservation wasn't available either. Same story, she worked with a UHaul Rep that answered the phone for the Greenbrier facility after being on hold for 25 minutes and made her reservation for her. The employee's said that the system in place doesn't work because it doesn't accurately depict what is available it's just a guesstimate and that UHaul counts on people not showing up so they overbook. I feel like that's a terrible way to run a storage business when people are moving and counting on their reservations. I will tell you that our experience when returning our first truck and talking with Corban was extremely pleasant and informative and Corban was very attentive and helpful quite unlike the employee's when we arrived with a full 26' truck...

Below average score is due to getting free storage for 30 days, was there less than 30 days, checked out at front desk when moved out, then received bill for almost $200. Called, location said computer glitch and sorry, don't worry about bill, they told me they fixed it. Now I'm still getting bills.

There were RATS IN the storage units. RATS and RAT droppings/feces ALL over my clothing and throughout the items I stored. I HAD to move out IMMEDIATELY!! BY FAR the worst storage experience EVER!!!

The free one month is not free. We rented a truck and rented a large storage on May 19 to June 21st and charged us for two months. From June 20 to the 21 charge my credit card $159. Thats for 2 days.
