Willie MI was supposed to have 12 furniture pads in the truck. I took the owner's word that the pads were in the back of the truck, didn't check and they weren't there.
Randy SOverall the experience was good. Disappointed in the help received online with getting someone to unload the uboxes. Never was real clear about what phone number to use during the whole process.

CINDY VThere was a system upgrade that started 9am on a Saturday when the good folks of Lake Charles were trying to get equipment rentals. Most of us waited over an hour just to get checked. Don’t do upgrades during store hours. This is a corporate IT complaint, not a store one.

BRIAN TThe straps on the tow dolly were frayed, and as result the driver side strap came loose and damaged the fiberglass fender on the tow dolly !!! I was charged $148.80 for damage that was NOT my fault, !! I will NEVER rent from uhaul again I am also going to give A NEGATIVE review on Google if this is the way a company is run, I want NO part of it !!!!! Very dissapointed in the customer service Also !!!! I was advised by the person where I rented the equipment that I could return the equipment at Any Uhaul in my destination City, I was deceived by the person who told me this, I was then sent a text telling me where to drop off the equipment almost an hour away from my residence, again a LIE !!!!! I am very upset at the way this company does business, by deceiving customers into believing their lies !!!!! Uhaul is aVery Dishonest Company !!!

Robert CThe 5 x 8 trailer was fine. It was not clean. I had a hold on the trailer with customer service (price quoted and saved, etc) before arriving at Lake Charles location. The lady at the desk could not find any information for me and was giving me a higher price. She said I would have to call customer service. I got out of line, spoke with customer service and they were nice and found my info immediately. I had to book with her to get the quoted price. She also said she did not have a button for any kind of discount, (veteran, senior citizen, etc). Was also charging me 80.00 deposit.

Richard MThe trailer I was allowed to rent was smaller than what I reserved. My Tacoma fit on the smaller trailer, but the load was not balanced correctly, causing it to sway on the highway. Had I been able to use the larger car hauler I initially rented, my trip would have been much safer

KATHERINE MWorst customer service ever! Charged $49 unnecessary fees. I tried calling several times for an explanation as to what the additional fees were pertaining to…no one answered, nor did they return the call. I would never recommend this UHaul location to anyone ever.

Joshua T | Overall ExperienceMy storages had rat and cockroach 🪳 in it's and rain in the storage had to though away a suitcase of good clothes away because they had dead mice in it. Also took pictures of the dead mice and cockroach in that's building. I fell at that's location and the staff didn't thank I was worth there attention. I hope the man that's own that's site would look into how poor of the management care about his victim or people that trust them for service. I fell on 7/5/2024. I'm am 68 year old. Thanks for nothing at this site.
