Francis BVery unprofessional Technical service. After two days going back and forth for the appointment which I booked online. Technician started at 9:30. After two hours ,I came to see how the installation is going assuming it should be ready soon but Technician ( If he was a Technician !,which I doubt it) was still struggling with just opening a nut which apparently he didn't know how to open it. They kept me until 1:15 pm ( about 4 hours). Technician left without any result and he doesn't care, left the car open. When I complained to reception while Technician was leaving they just apologized and said sorry he couldn't do it. Seriously !!! after 4 hours!!!. While I was waiting there, there was one of the cameras showing my car and I noticed Technician??! was not even sure what he was doing and referring on google or Youtube probably many times trying to understand what to do. Finally I didn't have any option but just take the parts and leave the store.!!This was the worse service I have ever had. Now I wasted two days of my time plus all the frustration and I have the parts, not installed in my car trunk. Thanks to poor service and management!!!

SANJAYKUMAR MVery busy location on weekends. Very long wait times. The customer service rep was the most patient and polite person I’ve ever met. Working solo, lots of whiny customers and he was still pleasant, composed and professional. He deserves a raise! Once we got served, the process was fast and efficient.

JOSE FYou push equipment, I order, when I come for truck and equipment you don't have. Why when I ordered online you didn't tell me. Left me in bad spot. The gas situation is no good, refill more than you use, if short, charge!!! You sent message or email when I am driving, then when I get a chance to look, site expired.

Garth RHe didn’t tell me the truck ID number I was to look for was at the top of the vehicle - he said licence plate so i ended up walking spoil bff the whole lot in the rain only to have to go back in where he t said he told me it was at the top and then referred to it at licence plate. I was asked in the app to take a photo of the mileage but couldn’t find the mileage on the dash asked the lot guy for help but he didn’t know either, the desk guy came out and informed both of us you had to push a button on the dash to get the number -he was slightly condescending about it. Maybe a sticker saying off you can’t find mileage push here? The i was frozen out of the app because of too many attempts at getting a mileage photo - 3 of the photos were by the lot guy. I had trouble getting into the app to return the vehicle. Again trying to sort it put in bad weather. Yes i was able to call to talk to someone which helped. The app was reasonably easy to use aside from the repairs being frozen out of it.
NADANNE HCharged almost 3 times the amount of KM driven. Do not recommend this location, do not rent from this location.

Robert WTo improve u-haul could start not changing the pickup address one day before the renting, and of you do, should have the truck available immediately. I wouldn't recommend.

SAMANTHA PThis is the 2nd location I was told to go return the truck and it was nice, but about 18km from the first location I was told to return my truck to, this 1st location is disgusting and at 1355 Gerrard St East Toronto. The owner basically kicked me out, and said he had no room for me to leave the truck there!! 2 issues here: 1) when your company sent me to return the truck, did they contact the location to be able to accept my truck, and seemed like the owner didn’t know about it. 2) after all that , it took me more than 3 hours and about 60km to go to the 2 places and return to my apartment. I hoped the returning plan could be executed better in the future.

ANTHONIO FI had a great experience picking up my mobility scooter. The only problem was the ramp at 24 inches or 2 feet. Needs too be wider at 30 inches.

Sukhdev SWhen I picked up the vehicle it was snow covered. The fuel level in the vehicle was less than 50% .The "efficiency" of the vehicle was terrible. I drove 40 km, added 10 litre of gas and was charged for not bringing the gas level to the previous level.

TAZMOOL HHello, I wanted to share my experience with your staff. I rented a U-Haul on January 31st and informed the employee that I would return it the next morning. The next day, he called me and asked for the vehicle. I explained that my move wasn’t done and that I would return it around 1300 or 2000 hrs. However, he responded in a very rude manner, saying he needed the vehicle immediately for another booking. I understand the importance of scheduling, but customer interactions should be handled professionally. Please ensure your staff maintains proper customer service in such situations. Thank you.

There should be one price only for 24 hour access, like every other major storage facility that I've seen. The $140 I had to shell out for that rickety locker that I got was already too much, and now I have to pay more if I want to access my locker after hours? C'mon guys, Uhaul can do better than that.

IAN P | First ImpressionsFrom the very start I had major issues, a very unfriendly girl at the front desk set up my account. It took her 45 mins to get everything correct, however even after this I found my 4 digit entry pin was 5 digits and was a generic 12345! She obviously couldn’t be bothered to set up a paid for service on the system. I came back the following day to have this looked into by two other employees, it took 9 hours to solve the simple problem and get me after hours access. The main entrance to the storage units were a health and safety violation on a daily basis, to the extent of having to physically move large heavy fed ex boxes out of the way every time I needed access to my unit. This location (for a storage facility) clearly has zero storage for the 10s & 10s of toe bars and heavy boxes that are delivered multiple times per day. They are constantly blocking the fire exits and main walkway to all units. This is clearly in breach of all fire/health and safety codes. For a customer to have to move heavy boxes and toe bars out of harms way to gain access is ridiculous. My unit itself was ok but had zero lighting within, not even the hallway lighting could come in overtop as the walls were to the celling. I purchased my own lock from a local store because the lady that set up the account didn’t state any difference, only to find weeks later I had to purchase a U hall lock because mine wasn’t “fit for purpose” All in all my experience at the location is a 0 out of 5 I wouldn’t recommend to anyone and I’d appreciate some kind of compensation towards my overpriced rental. On a more positive note there were a couple of staff members who were polite and expressed their apologies for the inconvenience of the mess. They also mentioned that the first girl I dealt with was let go. The entrance blocking and lighting both need to be urgently rectified for obvious health and safety concerns. I noticed multiple cameras within the storage entrance so any administrator should be able to monitor this on a daily basis.
