BETTY SI was not to happy with the communication there. I paid for a trailer that was $18.95 that was fine but when going to get it hooked up I was told that they did not have a part for the tail lights and that I had to purchase it so that was another 18 dollar. I should not of had to purchase a part they should have provided!!!! I feel I was scammed I will never go to that location ever again. I paid almost 40 dollars for two hours. Not happy at all

WERNER MEverything was great but it it would have been perfect if I had more lighting to load at night. If I were U-haul I'd create a win-win lighting scenario option for You & your customers. Example- A) To me it would have been a win-win had I been offered to rent a free standing light to load up at night. The 1/2 hour timed light inside the box was not enough and my thought was I wish I would have known and possibly been offered an alternative. I'm not at all blaming U-haul but read below for more profits! A) Only I knew I was loading everything at night. B) Knowing the box light was limited to 30 mins, I would have gladly paid $19 to rent a light attached to a small tripod with a battery. C) Most renters like myself have friends helping us move. It would have kept everyone safer and been an awesome show of concern for them. D) Loading up a 1-2 bedroom apt at night takes an average of 4 hrs to do so safely and correctly. *Renting add'l lighting is an easy sell and would be rented by the same amount of customers if not more than an appliance hand truck is rented. It would have been awesome even more had it been available, customer option, on each truck like the way the appliance hand truck often is offered. **Win for the customer in terms of safety and time saved with the additional lighting. ***Win for U-haul at $19 because it would pay for itself in <10 rentals for a really good one. From then on its pure profit and the customer would be ecstatic. Think about the obvious. Most self movers think they dont have that much so they all think they'll be done by dinner time. ****If U-haul checks the numbers I bet there is an average of at least 1 truck being returned per location (out of U-hauls 20,000+ locations) after dark. 20,000 x $19 generates 380,000 per day times 300 days a year mon- sat for additional profits of $108,000,000. (Thats $108 MILLION)

VIVIAN BThe truck we had seemed to be the first U-Haul truck ever. Might be time to retire it. The noise of the doors opening and closing sounded like this truck has put in its time for at least 30 years. Shifting into gears felt like a fight with the transmission, as if the truck was begging you to let it go into retirement. Every acceleration was a fight that luckily was won by the driver. Finally, the poor ramp was very argumentative every time it was set up. However, the inside staff was wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They even sold me on a tv box and explained how to use it! 10/10 would recommend this location but would advise of the poor old trucks begging for retirement yet still being made to work.
