Additionally, they inform me the reservation system allows them to get overbooked and this has been an issue for a year or two. Why hasn't anyone fixed this? It is completely unacceptable that you make a reservation and it cannot be honored. On top of the reservation not being honored, I had called 24hrs prior to arriving to make sure I could check in and everything was all set. Why wasn't I told then there would be an issue? The attendant was not very helpful and acted like he could care less. This was an absolute joke and I do not know how Uhaul can stay in business using this type of business model.

TYLER HIt was a great experience. Easy to reserve a truck online, the pick up process went smoothly, and the price was good compared to other options I researched.
BENJAMIN FTrailer was wet and muddy on the inside. We had to clean the trailer and then dry it before it was useable. And, the locking mechanism was very rusty so hard to work plus no handle to hold the door down while trying to lock.

The only concern was the employee who took me to the rental made an excuse due to weather for the inside of the vehicle not being cleaned well. Also he was there when I tried tonsyart the vehicle. It took no less than five tries to start it. He never approaches to assist or advise. Hmmm.

LIDIA RI love you guys. I’ve never had an issue, but the U-Haul I had was a piece of junk. It run like crap that had low tires and the tow button kept coming on. It was pretty rough. First time I’ve had an issue just wanted to let you know thank you very much Martha Nelson.
MARTHA NWhen we arrived no one was at the desk. We did online check in and only came to get the keys. When we were finally given the keys and taken to the U-Haul we had to wait 20 minutes to leave our parking spot because the worker/ customers were blocking us in. We didn’t leave until 30 minutes past our time and since we reserved our 2 hours precisely, we ended up missing our check out time. It was a mess all together and we ending up having to do online check out. The vehicles were clean and nice but the experience was horrible. I would not recommend this location to a friend, maybe someone I did not like.

RAYMOND KWasted trip there for a scheduled hitch install, which manager blamed on his staff. Had to make another trip there to pick up our car to reschedule. At the rescheduled appointment, staff sheared two bolts off my car frame. Refused to fix them. Changed plans to rent a Cargo Van for our very long trip. At pick up, Cargo Van had under-inflated tires. Manager looked at tires and recommended 90 psi in all four tires — clearly wrong. (Later I went to a different U Haul dealer in town for correct info re tire pressure.) Once on the road, discovered empty windshield washer fluid. Overall, one error after another.

Then they stated I drove at least 100 miles more than I did, so their odometers are somehow adjusted to record more miles than are actually driven, and of course there is no way to prove that so I’m stuck paying for it. GAYLEN BAndrew Krumbhaar is not a good person and certainly should not be representing U-Haul as the General Manager. To begin with, I received a phone call a week or so prior to my pick-up date confirming the truck, the truck size, and the appliance dolly needed to move my washer and dryer from the upper level room in my (previous) home. On the morning of the pick-up, 10-12-24, Andrew Krumbhaar told me that he did not have an appliance dolly. I reminded him that I received a confirmation call, from U-Haul, verifying that an appliance dolly would be charged and included with my truck pick-up. I asked if he could remedy the issue by applying a discount to the truck rental. He said, "no", and that he would not charge me for the dolly. I told Andrew Krumbhaar that he could not charge me for the dolly if he did not proivde me with one. We then walked to the truck and I noticed that there was not a ramp attached to the back of the truck. Andrew Krumbhaar stated that I needed to rent a bigger truck to get the ramp. I, again, asked him if he could remedy the dolly issue by providing me a truck that has a dolly for the same rate as the smaller truck; he stated that he would not. I returned the truck on 10-13-24 on or around 7:00 PM. The next day, 10-14-24, I received a reciept with a charge to my account that was higher than it should've been. I spoke to Andrew Krumbhaar, via phone, about this issue and he alleged, several times, that I returned the truck on the morning of 10-14-24; I disputed this. He then went on to say that - because the truck I rented was the last truck in the return line, I had to have dropped it off that morning. I told him to review the video footage. He, then, claimed that he was watching it and that I returned the truck at 7:30 PM and that other people MAY have needed to rent the truck on that day (Please note that there are atleast 12 trucks that are the same size parked in the lot at this time and daily.) I asked him if he could return the money charged on the 14th as I did not have possession of the truck on that date; he refused. Andrew Krumbhaar made my move even more stressful with his less than favorable customer experience skills and poor attitude. Please note, before I could begin letting a friend know about my experience at this particular U-Haul, she shook her head "no" when I told her I rented my U-Haul from this particular address. Andrew Krumbhaar needs to do better.
CIERRA Athe price charged didn't match the quote on the app. when I returned three package's of unused furniture pads they wouldn't refund my money. the truck leaked water through the top and several boxes got wet. had to call corporate office to get my $140 refunded. Local staff was rude and I will never go back to this location.
steve cI needed a storage unit unexpectedly at the last minute and there was one available. I called with very short notice and we were able to show up with my belongings within just a few minutes. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. We were able to unload the U-Haul truck and return it efficiently. I was very happy with the service throughout the entire experience.

I called and asked if there was an available first floor unit, and there was. The man volunteered that they were open until 7pm. When I got there it was obvious they were expecting me. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The showed me to the very clean unit and how to use the lock. I could not have asked for a better experience! They treated everyone in the store and on the phone with the same courtesy. 5+ stars!

Auto zones diagnostic as a catalytic converter needed replaced. 3 days sick falling asleep at the wheel and rest areas. Road side service told me yo get a hotel they would be out in the morning. Morning came roadside said there was no reason to have them come out and yo keep going. Couldn't take the fumes anymore. Stopped at mechanic. He wrote up a paper said the Doghousing was not latched or sealed. I ending up sick. Can't get a lawyer to take the case because t would cost me too much. I spent 1000 on gas to go 500 miles. 745 extra on rental on a bigger truck than I ordered. All I want is to be remebursted on, food, gas. Hotels, and rental for the extra days it took me to get from Arkansas to Illinois. Should only taking me 12 hours Took me 3 days because of not being able to drive sick. Call me plz 501 256 6439. Robin Cochran. Otherwise I will be forced to take this matter to the news channels from Illinois to Arkansas.

However the I had problems with the online service to automatically bill for storage every month. I would plug in the information, and it would not save it. First month, was late with payment because it did not save it. Next month I set a reminder to check, and had to input the information again. Finally with the third month it ran as it was supposed to. Frustrating.
