When moving out online, the main point of contact could just do a better job of alerting the branch about the move by following up with them. This has no bearing on the location we used, just a suggestion. Other than that mix up, everything was good!

The truck had clearly been in an accident or had run head first into something because there was damages all over the front end, bumper, grill, sideview mirrors, etc. Was about 15 minutes from destination and the truck about sounded like it was going to go out on me.

when you reserve a piece of equipment a week in advance and are not told it is not available until after you pick up a vehicle it can be very frustrating and stressful when things are already overwhelming during a move. we needed a two wheel dolly for our move. we were very carefull about what size boxes we were using since we assumed that we would have one during our move. the girl at the counter when picking up the vehicle did not tell me it was not available so when i got home and couldn't find it I went back up to get one and was told there were none available. I also was told to use a link that was sent to look over the truck. she did not tell me to do that before i left so when i got home the link had expired. again i went back up to have her send the link again and was told she couldn't. I just don't understand how a moving company could not have a dolly? and the girl was very rude about everything. it's the last thing you need when moving. i will not be using uhaul again.

I was a little nervous about renting a truck because I heard stories about people getting charged for damage they didn’t do. I tried to make sure I took pictures of the entire truck before driving off their lot. I even took a picture of the dash. It was not necessary. I return the truck, received an email with my charges which was less than the original estimate.

Picking up when office is closed is a nightmare, took an hour and help through a chat to get keys. Then when turning in had to take multiple pictures and answer multiple questions in 100 degree weather

I've used this U-Haul location twice within 5 months and both times the staff was extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I rented a truck, then a cargo van and both were spotless. So the truck was fine and the service was ok but I was not clued in on how to return the truck after hours and the app and website were TERRIBLE!!! I couldn’t tell if the truck logged in as being returned before 9pm. When prompted to take photos in the app, nothing happened and I tried several times. So naturally I worried about being charged extra. Moving is stressful enough and I didn’t need the added worry. It doesn’t look like I was charged extra thankfully so that’s why I gave an above average experience. Thank you! : )

Exceptionally poor customer service (rude) when I picked up my truck and could not get the checkout function to work on the app. It was an 8am pickup and the location didn't open until 9. The lady wouldn't even TRY to assist me, saying only 'sir we're not open yet.' Once I finally got through check-in, my truck was behind another truck and inaccessible. I won't be using that location again.

I wasn't paying close attention on the odd app check-out. (Used to taking my own photos, which I did.) The truck was in no way at 3/8ths when I left and I brought it back right where it was. I have time stamped photo proof of both guages, yet was still charged $18 for fuel. I wasn't going to bother until this email was set. Remmeber all, this is a scam. Pay better attention than I did.

I have no problems with the location or the service. I have a problem with the app. After I had reserved a van I had decided that I wanted to add moving help. When I added the moving help, it added another van. When I went back to try to cancel one of them I couldn't figure out a way to do that. I had to call and tell the location about the problem.

I unfortunately had to move three times this year that's never okay for any family especially once we had been in the same place for a very long time before. I used U-Haul first to go all the way from St Louis to Piedmont and the trip they messed up ended up costing me an extra $300 then I used U-Haul to move from Piedmont to St Peters and the U-Haul trip ended up costing my father an extra $400 that they did not return that he paid them to gas at the vehicle I talked to the people at storage I talked to the people at U-Haul everybody referred me to somebody else until nobody paid us we have had the worst year of our lives and had to pay three months storage where Adrian that I dealt with every time I worked there he was very nice and friendly then there was a younger girl that works there the daughter of the owner I think very rude horrible people skills has the biggest attitude in the world for someone taken that much money from people. And not to mention now that I'm unpacking now in my new house I open up the boxes I just got out of storage and found cockroaches and that is from this facility I am extremely unhappy with U-Haul because I've called them every which way I can to try and get them to refund the extra money they took off of my 78-year-old father's credit card and wouldn't return and also the extra $355 they charge me through the company that was supposed to be paying for my trip down to Piedmont everything has been in my name the whole time or in Sid Kinzel and I wonder why it is that a man at U-Haul ran my father's credit card claimed that he took the U-Haul truck we were going to pick up and went and filled it up with gas and brought it back and took money for that from my father-in-law's credit card when we got the U-Haul truck it was empty and I had to pay for gas again he outright lied and took money from my father so not only am I telling you this honestly but the second I get done packing and I actually have time to write a real review for the news paper i work for I plan on letting everyone know that the dumbest thing you can do is go through U-Haul as far as the storage experience it wasn't the worst it sucks having to pay but that's the business you're using their lockers but it's funny that you haul gave me a free month storage every time I rented a truck and use them to move but then when I got their storage they wouldn't allow me to use my free months storage because I should have had 3 months storage and that would have covered all the money the time at U-Haul oh what's that another $650 U-Haul took they shouldn't have oh my gosh big f****** surprise

The entire rental was smooth and the manager was very helpful. She worked with me when my moving date got changed and that kind of service goes a long way. That were never any problems getting in and out of units when needed everything went so well I run into truck from them to move everything out as well. Moving is stressful enough but they definitely help to make it easier

The unit was gross. Needed power washed and bug sprayed. The door was all jacked up and barely locked. I just wish I could’ve gotten my things out of there quicker since I’m probably going to have a spider infestation at my rental now.

`I can't give you a excellent score, even though you have excellent people. Maybe you don't know how inconvenient it is to put a code in to open the gate in a pickup. Going in or out I had t get out of my truck to get the gate open. I mentioned it to the office, and was told they have remotes, but I would have to pay $5.00 more per month. The original manager, Christina was terrible. Our 10X30 unit has someone else’s items in it for over a month before they were removed. She tried to charge us for a late fee even though we signed up for auto pay. She was not professional, nor courteous. I don’t think she is there any longer. If we could have found another storage facility we would have moved out. The new people there seem better.

I think the new staff is more honest than the former staff. Unfortunately, the former manager of my location "misappropriated" my cash payment. Once I got Corporate's attention they helped me get it applied to my account and even gave me a free month. But by then I had lost faith in the company. After 3 years of storing my belongings at the Mexico road U-Haul storage facility and after paying over $700 for the last couple months to get caught up I was told I had 5 days to move my stuff out. Unbelievable how the store manager would look at me completely disgusted with me for not being able to pay on time but always paid those rediculously high late fees n never lost my storage. I was also lied to when they told me I had to pay extra to have after hours access! Three years,$6000,just to receive the boot,very sad n disappointed

On line personnel screwed up my reservation when I arrived to facility they couldn’t find my reservation! I had reserved a 5x10 and when I arrived they didn’t have any of that size available so I was left with no other choice but to take the 10x10 which is a lot more than the 5x10. The manager was very helpful. We had issues with our movers who were coming from out of town. They arrived too late to finish unloading the truck before 10pm when the gates locked. Christina gave us her cell and let us out when we were done. It was really appreciated and relieved a lot of the stress.

I had 2 units with this location. The first one, the manager knowingly let someone into my unit to steal everything worth anything and then lied to me about it. The second one mice ate through my furniture and giant area rug. Also large snake skin found inside unit. I would never ever refer anyone to this facility. Needs new management. I closed my storage And called the manager to tell her. She said ok and everything was done. Later that day I have a new fee for the amount of the storage for the upcoming month. I shouldn't have been charged but I was. I called later that day and the man answer and said he texted the manager to receive a text back from her saying I never called for anything. I have a log of the call as. Does U-Haul and she told him I never called? He also claimed to laugh and say that his manager is "wild" in a sense of immature, or some kind of substance user. This put me in the red on my account because that money was never to be used for the rental and I also never gave her access to my CC to withdraw anything. I paid myself each month.

I confirmed a 26 foot truck and a 10 x 20 x 8 storage unit online. when I arrived I was told by the manager we don't have units that large and she essentially said the mistake was my fault. when I said that's OK ill look somewhere else please cancel the truck she said wait there may be a unit available. She said we do have a unit but the door is broke. It may be fixed. She went and checked and said we have one. She showed me where the storage was and said even though the map said the units are 10 x 15, they are really 10 x 20. I said ok that's perfect because I have 18 foot steel beams and boards (wrestling ring) to store. After loading up the entire 26 foot truck we came back and found that the unit she gave us was actually only 15 foot. I went back to the office and a different gentleman was there. He had no idea what size unit mine was and after insinuating that I can't measure, said he was going to grab a tape measure and come to the storage with us. We got there and he immediately said oh that's not 20 feet long. Of course I agreed. The guy was very helpful after that and did help me find another storage with a different company. However the woman who helped me first blatantly lied and assumed I didn't know 15 from 20 feet nor thought I had ever measured my own wrestling ring. To be honest I was going to leave it at that, but you guys keep texting me wanting feedback. Please stop texting me.

When I first started the rental of the unit I told the gentleman that I was a veteran and he said I would get a discount. Then he forgot to put it in. He said he could not change the paper work without the manager. He told me to come in the next day and she would straighten it out. So I came in the next day and she told me she would give me the discount at the end of the rental. She even made a note of it on my paper work.A t the end of my 8 month rental she told me that they no longer give the veterans discount.Fine time to let me know that. You would think if it was valid when I first started the rental that I would still get it. I guess the veterans are no longer appreciated by the Uhaul company and we should go elsewhere for rental needs.I guess that is corporate greed taking over for American freedom.

I had some issues with my bill. I always paid both units together and then was told I was late on one The manager said everything was ok and I was in the clear. I continued to get letters asking for money she said to disregard them which made me feel uncomfortable. Then I find out I had a lock on my unit so I couldn’t get in. She did finally clear everything up but put a note on my file that I was an irate costumer. I’m sorry if she felt that way but when you tell me something is all taken care of but continues over so many months is quite aggravating. I feel it should have been handled in a completely different manor. I have never had any issues before with anyone. It was to the point I had to come in and make my payments in order to obtain a receipt at that time. Even by doing this there were times they didn’t have paper or the ink was out. The day I turned in remote in the last unit they were unable to print a receipt because they didn’t not have any ink in their printer. We would have stayed in our unit a bit longer had we not of had these issues.

Was a great place to rent but if you're late and then pay your bill, they never unlock it the day you pay it. Mine was over locked a week after I paid my bill. Tried to call to get the lock off my unit and no one answered. Went up to the office to ask why it was still locked and the employees were outside smoking and drinking coffee without the phone. Seems like lazy people running the place. I ran storage facilities for years and never treated customers like that.

I am not pleased with the things that have happen here I was a customer for like 6 years or so with random things and multiple storages for personal to business but as soon as Tyler left the place went down hill I have pulled all my accounts out of there and have been gone for years and they are still trying to bill me even after I gave back the keys to my last unit there to a worker there they are trying to bill me for the years I’ve been gone! That’s insane and improper management! The worker whom I gave key to said he’d take the golf cart over and move remaining stuff there to trash or to give away locker up front!!!

Was not helpful when it came to getting my lock unlocked from the unit. The lock was defective. Was told to call a lock smith to resolve my problem. What do they do when a lock is on an unpaid unit? Also, charged with a taillight on a tow dolly that fell off on my trip across Missouri due to inferior U-Haul personnel not properly attaching it on in Kansas.

You KNOW you quoted me a lower rate and then you charged the higher rate. I emailed and called repeatedly and you have YET to show me that you refunded the difference.

The staff at this location are by far the best . They go above and beyond for their customers and each other, not only where they able to accommodate to my last minute needs.. but when I dropped my truck off the first shift worker stayed over helping to make sure the trucks where lined up nice and didn't just leave the next guy hanging.. the 2 gentleman I dealt with during all of my interactions with this locations had straight out great customer service, and made me feel important, even though I was just a stranger needing to move.

Christina Rupeika and Paul Kaufmann were just the best. Anytime we had a question or problem they went the extra mile to help us. It was a pleasure to use their U-Haul storage. They also helped us to obtain the right U-Box to ship some of our articles. We would like to thank them for all their help! We would highly recommend them to anyone that needs storage.

Manager is an idiot. Says she would do something to fix my billing issue totally lied. Nothing worse than a being lied to. Would never use this place again. Storage unit was not cleaned when I moved in. There was broken glass and other trash left on the floor.

I have to say the staff was excellent the facility was adequate. But was very disappointed when I checked out and found out that my last month was not prorated. I checked out of a facility on the 16th that I had to pay for till the 29th. That was very disappointing

Apart from the mice and a leaking roof, it served its purpose. I believe the mice issue was addressed immediately. Minor roof leak, saw signs of it on a lid of a storage tub when I got it home.
