Went for the truck it was not available. I booked it online and it was guaranteed. I did get a truck but had to spend another 30 minutes in there because I had to redo the process. However the agent was diligent and got to me a truck as soon as possible.
MARK BI have rented from Uhaul probably 20-25 times over the last 20 years or so. Mostly a good experience. Not this time. I feel like they scammed me out of a $20 late fee. I was under the impression that I had the truck for 24 hours. Because I always keep it for the 24 hours. I even stated that I wanted it for the 24 hours after being asked by the agent. I brought it back the next morning. about 22 hours later. They said there was a late fee because it was due back in 12 hours and should have been returned last night. And that it "said so on the contract I signed" They made sure they repeated that to me twice. That I had signed it. So I then look at the contract and sure enough they only gave it to me for 12 hours. And I did sign it. So lesson learned. Even though I said 24 and assumed it would get that, because I had every other time, they only signed it out to me for 12 Im not going to go bankrupt over the $20 fee. But I will never rent from these shady M*****F*****s again.

CAROLYN SVery poor communication, vehicle that was rented had the check engine light engaged and the back storage area for personal property leaked very badly.Counter agent did not inform customer when I called that I would have another fee added to my account because I was unable to access storage unit until after 4pm and returned rental at 5:10pm and had to wait for and agent to assist me with my rental and return of equipment
LAVETTER LThe trailer was filthy not just dirty. It had a rotten smell inside and we did not want to put our belongings inside, but we had to. If I would have known the condition of this trailer, we would not have rented. Very bad experience.

TROY CU haul kept cutting off and when I told them about it they said that was the only one they had and when we extended our contract they charged us two more times for 70 after paying a $160! Deposit for the 15ft u haul and we will never rent a u haul ever again

John BClerk verbal agreement on mileage did not accurately represent written contract. Management did poor job training staff. Furthermore Management was not willing to do due diligence by speaking to staff prior to making decision on disagreements. Management was not a good representative of UHaul. Renter beware of this location.

SHAMEKA WWhen I placed ordered over the phone, I was not told I would need a major credit card for 9”van. i had to change the truck type. The truck was given with empty gas. Upon return, the check out person had poor customer service and a attitude
ERICA HTrailer clearance lights didn’t work. The parking wasn’t cleared off with snow which made it hard to get the trailer and return it. On the app when you return the trailer you can’t say it defective on the app or you can’t complete the check in when returning equipment. This is a big problem when no one is on site. Not convenient at all. This should be addressed.
Steve FNot sure why it’s advertised as $19.99 local when the actual cost is closer to $50. We only used the cargo van for one hour.
Laura DVan was clean. Tire pressure monitor was not working correctly so I got to look at a light the whole time. LH speaker didn't work even after adjusting the balance

JASON KI was charged for gas that I shouldn't have been. I did fill gas back up to required amount, However, I was charged for 4 gallons that came out to $17 and some change. I didn't take a photo so I have no way to prove how much gas was in the truck. I did replace gas that was used.
MARYANN AI have rented here several times and have always had an excellent experience. This location is by far the best location I have used.

SOULEYMANE DDistrict manager does not know the rules. He told me they couldn't enter credit card numbers in manually the day after a female employee did it for me. He was rude and not even open to hearing what I was telling him. He needs better customer service.

Karen MLook, this is a review for Uhaul's service on U-box delivery from U-haul storage to a local home in Indianapolis. I had them shipped from Baton Rouge and stored in Indy for a month. That part was 5 stars. The problem was the pickup/delivery from Uhaul on Michigan Road. They didn't have a 2-ubox trailer so my movers had to make 2 trips, and the movers were stuck there waiting for service as well.
TREY SI would actually love to talk to someone at Uhaul about the issues I have with this location. I will be pleasantly surprised if someone actually contacts me at 317-432-7038

JOHN SI received a pick up truck with a damaged taped up mirror for the second time, this time the fuel tank not full. So when I went to put fuel back in the truck once I was finished moving, It was impossible for me to know how much to put in to bring it back to where it was. I filled the tank up and was not credited for that. And that should be an option since you will for SURE CHARGE me if I didn’t put the gas back in. I could’ve gotten 5 miles credited for the extra fuel. And the workers there have mediocre customer service skills.
JOHN WThe truck I received was damaged and gas fumes filled the cabin. I had to call roadside assistance in the middle of the move. They gave me a second truck and gas cap was missing. On top of all this I was overcharged.
LUIS AOnly problem I had the truck did not have a lock…I had to purchase a separate lock ….also was not told that the return location was not open on Sunday..I tried to return the equipment on the next day
JULIA WThe truck added more miles than I drove I communicated this with staff shortly after I pulled off I called and spoke with a young man at the location who told me it could be adjusted when I returned the truck the two women there had nasty attitudes and were not helpful I was told I probably drove the truck all over I should her the video of the mileage glitching on my phone she didn’t care and days she has to go off the system I asked to speak to a manager and was told he at home you can try to reach him tomorrow Shouldn’t have allowed their nasty attitudes to rub off and make me 1000 percent angry Would never come to this location again I asked the young woman would a small truck hold a king dice mattress she didn’t know I wasn’t told it didn’t have a ramp I was instructed to fold the furniture pads or they wouldn’t the them back not sure now how they get cleaned I would pay more for better customer service I don’t want to be over charged we’re talking about 13.60 because I only drive 34.4 miles and not 48

ANDRE JWell, the lady working here was extremely kind. She just could not help much with the equipment return. We rented a truck but we also towed a trailer at the request of U-Haul. I am not experienced at backing up trailers and I made this clear to the distribution representative who talked to me on the phone when we set up the trailer add-on. He said it would be no problem and that someone at the location would handle the hitching and unhitching. Well when we returned the equipment and the lady could not help with the trailer and did bit hav anyone there to help with it, I had to drive the truck onto a heavily snowed lot and embarrassingly through trial and error error I tried several times to back the trailer up where she wanted it. Finally I got fairly close. She came out and asked me to unhitch it (which did not know how to do because it was already hitched up for us at the pick-up location). I managed to figure it out though (keep in mind it was 15 degrees and snowing like crazy). After getting it unhitched she then asked me to manually lift the front of the trailer and push it back and align it perfectly with the row it was parked in. I just feel like I had to do all the work for something that was really just a favor to U-Haul - especially after making it clear that I needed someone to take care of the hitching and unhitching. I was not comfortable with it but the lady was insistent and would not help me complete the check-in process until I got everything put just how she wanted it. Somebody needs to be at this location to help her. She was very nice but very unhelpful. She appeared to be perhaps a little bit too old to be doing all this as well and spending much time in the elements.

We moved all our items from home into the U-Haul, filled the gas back up and arrived back at this location to now move items into a storage unit. Representative 1 obtained all my information, process payment, gave me my storage # & showed me how to access storage area. The movers open the storage unit and it was full of boxes from the previous storage owner. Representative 2 was notified and he stated “This is the customer’s fault.” & “We don’t have anymore units available.” I walked back to the front and Representative 3 (Hispanic Female) goes on to tell me “We don’t have anymore units here” “I am going to refund your money” “You have to go to another U-Haul location on layfette & see if they have a storage” “we check and clean storage at night” “we cannot touch the customers items in the storage.” Representative 3 didn’t care about us having to drive more miles to another location then back to this location to return uhual or the possibility that the next location might not have had any storage availability or that I had 2 movers waiting to unload our items for over an 1. Representative 4 gave me the mangers information and stated to call him immediately regarding this issue. After 1.5hrs the manager was able to provide me a storage unit and refund for first month (still waiting on refund) The manager was very professional, kind and compassionate about the situation.

There was a problem with my access card and staff members Stony and Jesus were always available to open the storage room and Stony put in great effort to investigate the problem by reaching out to his boss and then the supervisor above his boss too! So a huge shout out to the staff for being helpful. Monet was the agent who helped us secure the storage room and she was friendly and quick to get the room assigned so we could start moving in. The hallways are very well lit and there was even a cart we could use to move things into our storage unit. However the light in the storage room we rented was burnt out.
