Lacey BThe person on staff on upon the time arrival was very aggressive and nasty decorum. She was loud threw me my ID back to me. Ask her for her name she refused until I continue to insist. Very disappointed, I usually tent from the location on Chef mentuer hwy. I have never had such an encounter at the chef location will continue my business there in the near future. Ms. Dawn doesn't need to be there If she doesn't want to do her job her attitude was horrible on my Sunday visit.

PAULETTE CAt this location you employ a service writer ( the person behind the counter who rents the equipment) was not customer friendly, did not seem personable rather he was cold and too fast with explanations and when asked to clarify what he said, he seemed frustrated . I think you need to review that personality and make corrections. Thank you

MELKEIDA ROur location was changed to much further away than where we originally planned (due to us changing the day, but the person who helped us, didn't say anything about that), and when we got to the location it wasn't open (as it should have been). Opened a little late.

steven mNo one arrived on Sunday 04/28/24 to open the location. I waited two and a half hours before I was contacted and told I was late for pick up. Then an extremely disgruntled general manager showed up to accommodate me. Upon returning I was late . No problem; I’ll pay the late fees, but the staff was so unprofessional, and belligerent. I asked if one of the late fee’s could be waved. She contacted the general manager. He began to yell at me as if I were a child. At that point I declined any reprieve. I just wanted to complete the transaction and leave. We went out for a walk around. At that point the employee point out one scar of many that was on the truck which were there when I rented it (I also had the insurance). She insisted that I had scarred the truck with a washable black streak. I was noticeably upset at this point. She declined to give me a receipt and told me to leave,. I demanded a receipt in my denial of ill placed allegations. She attempted to lock me out of the store in which I stood in the doorway demanding a receipt. After a few minutes I left without incident. I’m going to block payment until I hear from corporate over the attempted theft of my funds for a pre existing condition. Hours later I was contacted by the general manager on his personal phone in which he further harassed me. Telling me about how he would apply pressure on me. It was the screaming that he had presented through every greeting of the last 40 hours that I could not tolerate, so I finally just hung up. If indeed an employee quit and didn’t show up for work for the initial rental period, through experience, I fully understand why; as if I have walked a mile in there shoes. It’s a very toxic work environment. There’s a culture of disrespect, poorly trained staff, and they exhibit a strange behavior of not wanting to be there. Every employee at some point within 40 hours commented about how they weren’t supposed to be there during this time and couldn’t wait to leave. Rude!!! Just horrible service!!! I didn’t witness one customer with something good to mention about there experience.

He had VERY POOR costumer service and spoke as if he wanted a confrontation but I didn’t give him any of my blessed energy. He needs retraining BAD & SOON

Absolutely no experience renting and the front desk rep did not help or was courteous regarding explanation of rental. Honestly should of just done online instead of dealing with someone who dislikes dealing with in person customer

My NMr.Donald and staff were great.
Larry RAllow customers to review photos of the equipment if there is ever a dispute of damage to equipment. Rather than tell them that they are responsible for equipment they took possession when you knowingly did not do the walk around of the equipment with the customer and did the hook up before their arrival.

My NI called Donald regarding renting a one way 26’ truck to McComb, MS. Donald was busy and told me that he would call me back. Donald never called me back. I ended up having to do the footwork myself and renting the truck from the Tulane facility.
JULETA J | Overall ExperienceI recently decided to remove my belongings from the Michoud facility. I spoke with a worker on Saturday 10/14/23 and told him I was moving my belongings out . He said you pay for the month at the end of the month and not the beginning. I was finalizing my move out. I came th get my last thing s on Sunday and took the lock on Sunday. Monday I spoke sleigh an employee and confirmed I was finished moving out and the unit was clean and not locked. I was suppose to get a call from the manager . Tuesday morning I received a call that I was 3 days late and he would talk to the manager. Tuesday evening a received a text with a receipt of payment that I did not authorize. I am very upset I never spoke with the manager but a payment was taken without my permission. Is that how U Haul does business. I would like a call from someone explaining.

We did not do a walk thru so I took their word that it was, in fact, climate controlled. In the next few days, I loaded up two trailers only to find out my unit was NOT climate controlled when I opened it. Also, I've yet to talk to Alvin, the store manager, to cancel this contract. I have called several times with voicemails. No call backs have been returned.
