The customer service at pick up time wasn't only bab, it was horrible. I understand that you need to do protec your investment, but that shouldn't take away a good customer service or as part of my experience trying to go above and beyond not to rent the truck and emphasize that you need that attitude cause of people keep stealing the truck

Estimated 2 hours to install the hitch and took them almost 6 hours, no updates throughout the whole thing and I missed another appointment I had because of it. Seems like everything’s working at least I’m happy with that at the very least and they have a great selection of moving supplies.
Melvin RI'm giving you the highest recommendation only because of the installer, Gabriel. He was a consummate professional. The initial hitch that I ordered online was not the proper size, even though I checked the right make, model, and year of my car. Fortunately, he had another one available that was. As he was installing it, however, it turned out to be slightly bent and couldn't grip properly. He then found another one of the same size that fit perfectly. If not for his experience and expertise, the whole thing would have taken many more hours than it did. As to improvement: the staff at the desk seemed surprised that I was waiting. I thought that I checked that on the website when I booked the service. It would be nice to have a chair or two available for people who wait!

JURGEN RI rented a van from this location today and was told by the attendant that I needed to return it with a quarter tank of gas. However, when I got into the van and started it, I realized the tank was completely empty—the fuel gauge was on E. I had to immediately drive next door to fill up, which cost me an extra $25. When I returned the van (this was my first time doing this type of checkout), I parked in the area where customers typically pick up their rentals. There were no clear instructions from staff, so I waited in the van. While I was sitting there, one of the attendants—an African-American gentleman wearing dark sunglasses, short hair, short purple pants, and holding a leaf blower—shouted at me rudely to leave. Then, loudly and within clear earshot, he told another attendant, “What the f*** is he doing still sitting in the van?” I was shocked by the disrespect and unprofessionalism. This was a very negative experience overall, and I will not be returning to this location to rent equipment.

As we were leaving we ran into Kyle and explained what we were trying to do as we didn’t understand why we received conflicting information inside the U-Haul store. Kyle went above and beyond to listen to us and see what he could do which we greatly appreciated. In the end we were able to rent the items we had needed and ended up accomplishing what we had set out to do. Kyle is truly an asset to U-Haul and we wanted you for know that. IZZATULLO UWe were running late with returning a van at the Roosevelt Blvd location and they put us on stolen vehicle warning alert, called and texted us about 5 times… was not even a whole 24 hours behind scheduled return. We are a furniture store corporate account trying something new with partnering with U-Haul for our customers that are not on our personal truck schedule for the day (same day deliveries) and I really hate going to the Blvd location but it’s the closest to our store. Not to mention I advised one U-Haul representative at that location that I’ll be back at 1:30pm and he responded “and make sure your back at 1:30pm!” I’m just going to assume he wasn’t trained with a more professional choice of words to use.

Parking in order to load my vehicle was often difficult with all the trucks parked at the loading dock. When the elevator had no power for 3 days limiting my ability to use my unit I would have expected some financial consideration for this time but was flat out told no. Don't like the fact that even though I had the same lock as required by u-haul I still had to buy another lock. This was not an issue at a different facility.

And because the place i was renting from my storage and u-haul truck. I lost my time slot to move in to my new place and had to pay extra to move in after hrs. Lost my deposit on a moving company because i wasnt able to get there in time. And still have to hire hands to move after hrs. And to put the icing on the cake. I wasn't able to move in to my new place till the 5th was told that i had to pay my $218 for the whole month for storage on the 2nd and will not see any of that money back even though i was moving out on the 5th just 3 days later. I've been a repeating customer for year. And rented from you guy for the past 2 almost 3 years. If this how you treat long and Loyal pay customers that pay everything on time. Then i will never be using you guys again.

They called me before I had a chance to call them and said you need to get mattresses out by Sunday or charged for another month. Well could not get junk guy till tue. That was only2 days after my payment was paid.. They charged me for the whole month for a lousy 2 days.and it was a holiday So dont expect any money back if you have to move before payment I will deal with a small business for storage than uhaul they say climate control it is not and i had the biggest storage and could of went somewhere else and got alot more space i paid 186 for a 5x10x10

I am not going to explain in detail of what actually happen but I view his action against me and a friend that day to be dehumanizing. I have already consulted my lawyer concerning this issue. If he didn't discard my photo he took that day and if I see it anywhere he will bear a serious legal consequences. The company is good but your branch manager is an evil monster and a very much barbaric idiot that's why I moved out of your storage.
