THOMAS BThe truck acted funny, actually drifted while I was driving. Not an alignment issue, more of a steering-by-itself issue. But this was addressed by my turning off the "tow" feature. I know there you have placed warnings on the dash and in the app. Please forgive me, but these should be more prominent. I suggest a notice actually ON the steering wheel. And the default for the TOW function is "on." Every time I restarted the vehicle it came on. And I wasn't aware that would happen. Again, I saw the dashboard warning. I'm a fairly intelligent guy; yet I did not immediately see this warning. Also, a design flaw: the gas and brake pedals are too close to each other. I wound up accelerating while I was trying to brake, as my foot was on both pedals simultaneously. It took a while to get used to this. Last, the brakes are weak. This needs to be addressed immediately. Thank you, Mark
MARK SI fixed the app or answered the phone because I wanted to extend the time by phone, as the app wouldn't let me do so. I ended up being charged for an additional session on top of what I had already paid - I just wanted to pay the extra $20, not another $75.

WILLIAM HFinding my truck was incredibly difficult. It would be helpful if there were signs indicating where it was. Also, I chose cell phone pickup, but the process got stuck at the last minute signing in, which was a huge hassle. It seems like something that could be improved. However, the friendly staff helped me resolve the issue.

ANTHONY SMy husband and I had had the storage unit for about a decade. We pretty much had to move a lot of things out of our basement so we could convert our basement into a mini apartment for my son and his wife after their daughter was born. My son and his family finally bought a house and we’re planning on moving out in the next month or two however over the last year my husband and I had experienced serious financial hardships Due to loss of employment. The staff was always kind and patient with us as we tried to maintain the storage unit and to make sure we stayed caught up in our payments. Then everything finally came to a head in September this year and there was just no way we could continue paying on the unit. The general manager was kind enough to give us some time to clean out the unit and gave us a more than generous offer so that we could leave our contract albeit a little earlier than we anticipated. Their kindness and consideration during a very difficult time has meant a great deal to our family. I will be sure to recommend them to others and if we were ever in the need of a storage unit in the future, we will definitely be looking at U-Haul and specifically at the location on Roosevelt Boulevard in NE Philadelphia
CHRISTOPHER C | Overall Experience4 Storage 4 You At Red Lion Inc. are the most ignorant, incompetent and disrespectful group of ppl I’ve ever come in contact with regarding U-Haul rentals! I received a call at 9:48am threatening to red bar check list me, call the authorities and even claimed since they were a third party they would never rent to me again… mind you, my rental was due back at 9:15am! And he continued with his ignorance by stating that because my account was a business account I have no right to be late.. sir, it was not my intentions to be late, unfortunately my company was running behind schedule. This guy never gave his name. Second call by another staff member at the storage facility… her name is Kayla! The nastiest person I ever spoke with in business… her first claim was that I wasn’t an authorized driver any longer because the rental was not returned on time and that further measures would be taken. She didn’t let me get a word in as I was respectfully trying to explain the reason for my delay, she literally hung the phone up while I was still trying to talk. I called back and the same unidentified male kept stating that I have no right to be late. The whole thing between the two of them was very weird and unsettling. I immediately called U-Haul corporate and they extended my contract in like 4 minutes… easy process and very welcoming. But that third party Storage facility is sick. A disgrace! Not only have I been a business account holder with U-Haul for a couple of years, I also was a U-Haul dealer at one of my business locations with five years experience and I would never talk to a customer with the disrespect and unprofessionalism that I was treated with at this location.

That’s all they said I wanna email a card that’s all. He said I would pay was 42 hours. My son‘s tablet was in the truck. The guy didn’t even let me get it out of the truck. He was very ignorant so I’m getting a lawyer.

marae bDid not have equipment i ordered yet still charged me. Charged me for hand truck because I broke the seal (I never ordered one because I have 2 of my own) but they place it in the truck so that the arms stick out 5 feet into center of truck. Not removing it would be a hazard. I drove 22 miles. I put gas to bring up to 3/4. Next day they charged me for 50 gallons of gas. When I asked to see picture I never received response. I took a picture that night with odometer but it didn't save to my phone. It went directly to company. The only good thing we're the movers. Even though we could have gotten much more done with the equipment I ordered in the 3 hours, they still worked very hard for us. I believe part of their fee should also be refunded as they weren't supplied with the tools that were promised and needed.
David GYour employees lack customer service. They play on cell phones rather than give 100% to customers. If there’s a customer at the desk, simply state they will be with you in a moment if they are working on a on-line order. Afterwards, put away the cell phone and give the customer 100%. I can’t tell you how annoyed this is as a customer to walk in for a pick up and be ignored without a word. I have waited in line for a pick up, up to 20-30 minutes. Mind you time is precious when the return has to be made within a selected time frame. Waiting too long robs the customer of precious rental time.

Ken CHonestly, I don't think you need to improve anything. The employees are all friendly. The layout of the store is great, I forgot a mattress bag and it was right at the register. I was in and out quickly and the return was easy as well.

Miguel POne of your employees stole my wallet and used my cards at a store two blocks over and when I did a police report about the theft of my wallet and the officer asked if he could check the store’s security footage your employee refused to review camera footage with officer said it was against police.

They refused to give me the truck, but I have in an emergency contact pick up a phone call first time I didn’t have to go through that. It was a different person.

OTARI GU-Haul is charging my card for service that I didn’t use. I called in yesterday and spoke to you about being over charged 128.00 and you called me back to inform me that that charge was as going to be refunded. I never received the refund and received another charge for 111.00. Why am I being charged over and over again? I’m owed a refund for a missing dolly and was charged again after I returned the trunk.

How are we suppose to conveniently use our storage units if we can’t even find parking. Then you would have people hovering outside that didn’t have access to their units harassing you to let them in.

In addition, there was a large amount of dumping of various computer parts on the 4th floor which made it difficult to access my unit. As for the staff: there was an incident one day where I hired a furniture donation company to come pick up some items from my unit. They arrived but had no place to park. They temporarily pulled into the lot and went to retrieve the items. As they came out, I was approached by a female worker who demanded the keys to the moving truck. Unfortunately the truck was parked in a spot that was less than ideal and had to be moved so that patrons could exit. As the furniture donation workers went to move the truck, some Uhaul workers proceeded to get in a shouting match furniture donation workers. The Uhaul workers continued to yell profanities at me, and the several furniture donation workers, even after the truck was moved. It was rude, unprofessional, and the Uhaul workers could have handled it differently. The parking at this facility is less than ideal because there is no street parking and extremely limited lot parking. I would not recommend this place to any of my family or friends.

Parking in order to load my vehicle was often difficult with all the trucks parked at the loading dock. When the elevator had no power for 3 days limiting my ability to use my unit I would have expected some financial consideration for this time but was flat out told no. Don't like the fact that even though I had the same lock as required by u-haul I still had to buy another lock. This was not an issue at a different facility.

The unit I got was a 10ft wide and 5ft deep unit but only had a 5ft door making the unit incredibly hard to use and organize. The carts are often broken and don't work.The last issue was price. I'm paying 156$ for a unit that's hard to use and parking lot I can't get into. The same sized unit I've moved to is 65$ a month with another company.

He threatened me that if I didn't pay it he would report me to the creditors. I had to call the corporate office. But overall the other staff are wonderful. When I was trying to ask him why would I have to pay it was empty he walked away. . . I asked him for the corporate company phone number and he gave me the wrong number. .

It was my pleasure to bad mouth those uneducated, poor mannered males that work at that site. I was given a very hard time while attempting to hold a reservation in place that was actually made by the 3101 Read Lion site while I was on the phone. I was turned away twice and the fact of the matter is I had rented storage space. My company had contracted them in the past and so 7750 has lost our business. I will email every corporate site in the North eastern region about the service. Unfortunate that the public has to be subjected to such poor service.

There were no clear instructions on how to get the rental before the business opened through the lock box. You need to be clearer and make it easier for your clients. Moving is stressful enough!

DASHAWN D | Overall Experiencethey had my drop off time at 5pm which i was there at 5:07 and they were locking the doors . they had no idea of my storage unit still having a lock from a previous customer. ive had four paid movers who were on a time frame their selve and they made it my problem. if i was 7 minutes late i still wouldnt be able to access my storage due to the lock. so the workers had attitudes and then i paid an extra 100 to not have to worry about next month payment and in order to switch lockers ive had to come out of pocket again. and then the email i recieved shows the drop off time at 9pm thats so foul and wrong. they take your cash and cash app you they also done all my transaction on the computer and today they tooken an extra 100 dollars.

And because the place i was renting from my storage and u-haul truck. I lost my time slot to move in to my new place and had to pay extra to move in after hrs. Lost my deposit on a moving company because i wasnt able to get there in time. And still have to hire hands to move after hrs. And to put the icing on the cake. I wasn't able to move in to my new place till the 5th was told that i had to pay my $218 for the whole month for storage on the 2nd and will not see any of that money back even though i was moving out on the 5th just 3 days later. I've been a repeating customer for year. And rented from you guy for the past 2 almost 3 years. If this how you treat long and Loyal pay customers that pay everything on time. Then i will never be using you guys again.

They called me before I had a chance to call them and said you need to get mattresses out by Sunday or charged for another month. Well could not get junk guy till tue. That was only2 days after my payment was paid.. They charged me for the whole month for a lousy 2 days.and it was a holiday So dont expect any money back if you have to move before payment I will deal with a small business for storage than uhaul they say climate control it is not and i had the biggest storage and could of went somewhere else and got alot more space i paid 186 for a 5x10x10

If he didn't discard my photo he took that day and if I see it anywhere he will bear a serious legal consequences. The company is good but your branch manager is an evil monster and a very much barbaric idiot that's why I moved out of your storage.
