ANGENIQUE JWe arrived at our scheduled time to pick up a U-Haul truck, only to be informed that no truck was available. Since we relied on Uber for transportation to and from the U-Haul location, we had to spend additional time and money to travel to another location.

WANAS WThe U-Haul website it doesn't retain all information that's typed in after you submit it. Had to convey a lot of the same info, I already provided when I went in to pick up the vehicle. Otherwise, the staff were courteous and professional while I was speaking to them.
Donald WTanesha treated me poorly on 2/28, and Darwin treated me poorly on 3/2. I will not be returning to this location. This location used to be wonderful!

The only thing I wasn’t happy with was that I reserved 3 weeks in advance for Boca close where I was and day before got email that had to pick up and drop off in sample, so was thrilled with that because still got charged for miles knowing that’s why I wanted closer where I was and was not convenience for me. I got an email that will reimburse $50 so will see at final transaction. Overall truck and equipment in good shape. Thank you

ROBERT EWent as close to "plan" as any move that I have had to make.
ROBERT MWe made a reservation at the Andrews location and when we arrived to pick up the truck they already rented away, therefore they sent us to the Sample and us 1 location that is very far from my house instead sent us to a closer one that we discover on our way back with the truck. The Andrews location didn’t register our payment and the second location has to start all the procedures and when we arrived to the storage location the employee was ready to leave n close the place he gave us 5 minutes only and after I explained our ordeal with your company he fell sorry and gave us a temporary door code. Otherwise if we do inject day we haved to pay for the whole month and that’s why we had to employ the place on Sunday. Your company is very stressful company to deal with.. don’t know what happened with your company used to be very reliable but your choice of employees is very poor and your company reputation is suffering.

RICHARD JMake sure the equipment is properly maintained. The vehicle was making all kind of horrible noise. It sounds as if it was about to fall apart. I could not even hear the voice on map quest, it was just that loud; plus the rented dolly has Diseil grease on the bottom and messed up some of my furniture

JIMIMA GI HAVE TO INFORM YOU THAT I RENTED THE TRAILER ON NOVEMBER 19TH AND LEFT UHAUL AT 11AM. I RETURNED THE TRAILER THE SAME DAY AT 7:40 AND I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR 2 DAYS. THE 285 MILES RETURN COULD EASILY BE DONE IN 8 HOURS INCLUDING TIME TO LOAD THE ITEMS PURCHASED PLUS TIME TO GAS-UP AND EAT. THE TRAILER WAS BACK AT UHAUL AROUND 7;40pm THE SAME DAY. WHY WAS I CHARGED FOR 2 DAYS??? I BELIEVE YOU HAVE CAMERAS AND YOU COULDD EASILY VERIFY THE TIME OF MY RETURN. I WAS AT UHAUL TO REPORT THE MISTAKE AND WAS TOLD THAT THE MANAGER WAS TO SEND ME AN EMAIL CONFIRMING THE CORRECTION AND REFUND. I HAD ALSO RETURNED AN UNUSED AND UNOPENED ITEM I HAD BOUGHT AND I DID NOT ALSO GET THE REFUND. I NEEDED TO PICK UP SOME ITEMS I HAD BOUGHT AT Insight Auctioneers IN SEABRING. IT IS 143 MILES FROM POMPANO AND WE USED HIGHWAY 95 TO RIVIERE BEACH, THEN ROAD 710 TO OKEECHOBEE AND 98 TO SEABRING. I AM NOT AWARE OF ANY TOLL ON THESE ROADS. DEOCTAVION SFirst of all, I was supposed to pick up at the location. They did not have the equipment. The equipment was picked up an hour and a half later by us and charged at the time we went to the first location then I needed to deliver the equipment down south they rated me for 80 miles One way wound up spending another 53 miles also kept the truck for three days total but only drove it from Pompano Beach to my address here at 232 St. Wound of costed me $325 for a day I could’ve went to Home Depot and got it cheaper with their trucks.

WILMENE BTruck was extremely poorly maintained. Had to drive with wheel pulled hard to drivers side constantly due to bad alignment, tires or some other issue. Check engine light came on after the first half of my 100 mile trip. The tow/haul mode also would constantly turn its self back on. Engine was loud and noisy and obviously in need of serious work.

Varick D | Overall ExperienceThe online booking was amazing and effortless, the issue arrived when I went to my unit. It was a man in the hallway on the floor that was charging his phone when I went to my unit I noticed the lock and the storage beside mines was open and filled to the max, with food and unsanitary items. I asked the man if he knew were I could grab a key and to my shock he had a key ring with about 50 plus keys on it and he used 1 to open my unit that had some storage bins of his in it. He removed his bins and asked me not to tell. I felt un easy knowing that he had all the keys so after moving in, I went down stairs to discretly tell the work it was a lady that a man in the hallway, before I could finish she yelled "hes not homeless, he rents the storage beside yours". I then said well he has all the keys to the locks, she told me there aren't any keys to the locks, I reminded her that I had just came down to purchase a new lock, after he gave me the old lock and keys to the one that was originally on the storage. She stormed off to go investigate, I asked her to please not tell him that I saw him with the keys to the lock because his unit is directly next door to mine and I'm a single female.

Roscoe S | First ImpressionsI called on the phone and specifically asked about a ground floor storage unit at a U-Haul rental place where I could rent a truck pick up the stuff put it in storage I was told yes we have one on the ground floor air condition unit no problem. I showed up rented the truck my mistake was not checking out the storage unit first went and got my furniture came back and was shown the storage unit which was on a half floor in between the first and second floor very strange setup but if you know this facility location you probably know what I'm talking about. When I went in back into the office and said that's not on the first floor I have to climb some steep stairs I have a couple big heavy dressers to put in there they said "no WE consider that first floor"... to which I replied no that's not first floor there are stairs going up to a second floor they said no second floor is above that floor you know arguing back and forth doesn't do anyone any good so I just canceled the storage unit on the spot right next door to Public Storage and rented a space for $20 less a month than what you were asking anyhow. So all in all it worked out for the best but I don't appreciate being lied to over the phone and to my face when I'm in there renting the truck in the storage unit. Therefore I cannot refer or recommend your location or facilities to anyone and give it a very poor overall rating.

Once I had rented the truck picked up the materials and came back to the U-Haul facility I was then shown the supposed ground floor storage unit which wasn't ground floor at all it was up 10 steps to a second floor level which I didn't want to carry all of the things in the truck by myself up to. I ended up going next door to Public Storage renting a ground floor unit 5 ft from the front door for less than what U-Haul was asking for that shabby Second Story location

I ask how are they are getting into the unit if i have the only key. In the beginning I had problems getting in the facility. At that time I told the staff. sean c | First ImpressionsHad a rough start. I was sold a first floor unit over the phone then when I went to move in, I was offered a second floor unit with only stair access. Being disabled (as I told the office before moving in) I required the first floor. I finally got in touch with the general manager after a lot of frustration with the office lady and he was able to work with me and satisfy my needs. After that, everything was a good experience.

Both times I’ve been to this location, they were super busy and some of the customers were very tough, but the staff rose above it and offered me and those that accepted it, above and beyond service. I can see this location could benefit from more staff, but they made the best of tough situations.
