Honestly you guys are great! I explored a bunch of container company's. And you guys were the cheapest and easiest to work with. Other company's get angry and upset if you don't have a lot of stuff to move. Thanks again guys. I have already recommended you to a lot of friends and family.

ANNE MThe Velcro on one of the containers was worn out, so we couldn't keep the container wrapped up in the weather. Overall, I would have liked the containers (mostly the exterior tarps) to be in better condition.
Benjamin DOur U boxes were scheduled to be delivered on June 1st, we were never told that they would be delayed. We had made arrangements for movers to come unload the boxes. But, the boxes did not arrive as planned. I made several phone calls and asked to speak with the manager supervisor and I was told that that would not be possible. The u boxes were delivered on June 2nd late in the day. We had to make alternate arrangements to have movers come empty the boxes. We received a call from ubox. Trying to confirm the return of the boxes on June 3rd. Since they would not be unloaded by that time, we confirmed their pickup date of June 5th. 20 minutes later we received a phone call from ubox telling us that the boxes cannot be picked up for return until June 6th. I asked what time and was told that I would be notified. I subsequently received a text message indicating that the u-boxes would be picked up for return on June 6th between 12:00 midnight and 12:15 a.m.. In short, there were many unplanned lapses in in the delivery and pickup of u boxes. There was also a lack of communication and notice from you box in regard to the delays. I do understand equipment can break down. People can be sick and out of work, what I can't understand is a company providing this service that does not stay a constant communication with customers to advise them as to delays lapses. Finally, the phone system when you call U-Haul or you box is inadequate. I ended up on the phone for 12 minutes. Spoke to a representative in Western North Carolina who transferred me to a representative in Eastern North Carolina who tried to transfer me to a ubox representative. After waiting on the phone listening to music for a lengthy period of time, I was finally given the option of leaving a message rather than speaking with someone as I had hoped I could do. I will never recommend you box to anyone when asked. I will provide this story and I will be happy to recommend people who are moving to pods or any other means or method to have their possessions moved. CARL LUhaul as a whole should have more affordable options especially for short moves. $135 dollars for a few hours is a bit unreasonable. I understand it was a one way but it would've cost even more if I'd have driven it back to original place 20+ miles. Kind of disappointed to not be accommodated for staying under the 30 miles.

Stephanie VI only called to reserve but assume the location reflects the rest of the experience. Boxes were delivered in RI on time. However after the 3 hour delivery window past in FL (11-2), I had to call to inquire as to when I could expect delivery. Boxes arrived about 2 hours later. This gave us less time to unpack before pickup.

Robin T- The car was immaculate but the smell of marijuana was strong in the vehicle. - Brakes squealed when in use or decelerating. - When at rest after park with car off it sounded like something was running around in the dash/hood area. - Oil Change indicator came on in the vehicle once I began driving. - Good working condition. - smooth driving and easy to maneuver. - Bach up camera and pin tight turns were really great to have for an 8’ truck bed. - Would absolutely rent again. - Kim inside at the Post Road location was engaging, helpful and wonderful to work with first thing in the morning. She made everything super simple and her assistance was much appreciated.

Joseph FThe inside of the truck was comfortable and drove well but the ramp was broken and came off the track when trying to push back in. Took us an hour to fix it The service call was going to be an additional 90 minute wait and I have not yet received any compensation for this or for returning it a full day early. The staff at this location said they'd try to get us a partial refund but have heard nothing yet.

BERNARD QThe trailer I got was messed up, after a few miles down the road it started making a unusual noise, had to take it to another uhaul to get it swapped out, they made me call road side assistance even tho I was in there parking lot before I swapped it out, I wanted to just return it at this point since I had sat on the phone for over a hour, I was told I wouldn’t get a refund and would be charged $200 for returning it to the wrong location. After finally talking to a general manager I was able to swap it but it took me all day.
ANTHONY OThe women working, older white lady, I think short blond hair was extremely rude to me. Was not willing to help me solve an issue that occurred with my reservation.. After I told her the app is not working she just continued to stare at me. Did not give good directions whatsoever. After going inside she confirmed my reservation and I was good to go, but up until then it was very unprofessional. This woman needs a lesson on 101 customer service. She never greated me hello or welcome. Nothing.

JOHN YThe U-Haul storage facilities at T.F. Green Airport was a great place to store my belongings while I transitioned from living on the east coast to the west coast. The facility is clean, secure and well lit. The hand trucks and furniture dollies they provide made moving in, and out, super easy. I found them to have the best price for storage in the area.

Rebecca RPicture taking and uploading was a little tricky. I was parked in between two other uhauls and it was difficult to take pictures. I moved the truck to be able to take better shots and they were accepted. The pad lock for the key station was very difficult in the cold weather to open once the code was aligned. I hope they can update that. The truck was great, the price fair and the app worked pretty well. Maybe put larger signs on the key drop box and the key kiosk to help guide customers. Overall the experiences was very convenient for us.

SHEILA CU-Haul is always been Straight shooters and pretty easy company to rent from. One of the primary reasons why I've been using this company for over 40 years. Especially considering, Comparatively to the astronomical prices of an actual rental car offering unlimited mileage and so forth nowadays. Including the enormous deposits required for incidentals. It's absolutely ridiculous. You were required to make a deposit for three times the amount of the total rental in most cases.. which they take at the time of rental and then rehearsal of the hold, upon return,of the incidentals/deposit hold, providing there's nothing wrong. bank accounts are actually Federal protected meaning in most cases even if these vendors such as yourself were to swipe an actual debit card most accounts have overdraft protection or will allow the charge absolutely guaranteeing your money. Where credit cards. Are nothing more than borrowed amounts. It bogs down an immense amount of money you're able to spend when your actual on vacation for people who are unlimited budgets there are many other ways I can think of that would guarantee with 99% of the time that you would always receive your funds some way or another besides insurance of these private companies would also guarantee that payment. In the event all they have to do is call is Call or pop credit card company and lock the card down and require a new one based on fraud which means upon return you wouldn't get your payment as the card has been locked it makes more sense that debit would rule.. also for the companies are not federally insured banks are. U-Haul never offers unlimited mileage or free gas and are required to pay $0.99 plus depending on the vehicle you're using. Offering discount promos for reduced mileage fees or some free mileage would be a huge wonderful service that you would offer your customers instead of free storage.. other than that I wouldn't change anything.. thank you for being a good little company

DONNA CEvery person that I dealt with at U-Haul in Rhode Island and in Ft. Myers, FL were great. Everyone had a smile. My two U- Boxes arrived very quickly from Rhode Island to Florida. I chose to put the boxes into storage while my home was being renovated and when I needed them dropped off the driver put them where I wanted and then came the next day to take them back. Two U-Haul boxes were less expensive than 1 POD by a $1000. I would certainly recommend U-Haul over the competition

LISA VEveryone I spoke to was wonderful! I got my UBoxes in NY and they were shipped to the Post Road in Warwick RI where I now live. I hired a man that my boyfriend hired for his move and he rented a UHaul truck that was a perfect fit for the contents of the 2 UBoxes and brought the truck to our apartment. The contents of the UBoxes were mostly in the same condition as when they were loaded in NY, so that was awesome. I would recommend UHaul to everyone I know as a trusted brand and cheaper than moving companies. Thank you UHaul!

We had an issue with a dresser being scratched but that was on us, next time we'll be more aware of how things are placed in the container. Will be using U-Haul again when we move the next round of stuff to our new home!
