Stephan ZOne issue I have is the sliding door sometimes gets stuck and won’t open or stays open. The manager is impossible to get ahold of or contact. The contact number shown for him on the door is disconnected. Everything else has been great. It’s convenient to be able to go in and out whenever you need to. It’s always a good temperature inside and it’s so nice to have a restroom available.

It was only confirmed after 4th call. U-Haul tried to take monthly payment for a storage And I had left. Glad it’s closed finally

The delivery of the boxes to us to pack, as well as the delivery of boxes to us as packed was as expected, or better, thank you. The issues I would say to work on are these... (1) the first three boxes we ordered were OLD PLYWOOD and barely would close. We had to work with opening and shutting these for 2 months as we slowly packed, which was very aggravating. As well, they were musty and now all of our items smell as we unpack them. (2) the last 3 boxes we received were aluminum, and MUCH better as far as the construction of them, and our ability to open and shut the doors... but one of them had a prior water issue, and those items we packed in there also smell musty. But, overall, this experience has gone MUCH BETTER than we expected, and we would use and recommend this service to others, so thank you.

The employees from csr on the phone to the managers in person were so great in helping and trying to get me into the building, I’m just hoping my access code works now
Elijah B | Online Move InSarah at the call center or Lakewood ubox location was unprofessional giving me excuses such as one of the delivery drivers is 9 months pregnant and claiming the driver text me to let me know that they were in the way at 1130am. I finally got that text at 4:30pm. The driver told me the texting system has not been working and she has told the call center this. Prior to this, every time I have called in I get different information about the same thing or process. This equates to poor training of the call center staff or quality control of that staff.
Joel GI had to change my unit the day of the move due to there being a large support beam in the middle of the unit. The change was VERY fast and easy. My only suggestion, corporate offices of UHAUL should note somewhere online when a unit has a beam in it, discount the price and at the very least allow the customers make an informed decision, especially when booking online from out of state. OVERALL, THE GRANDVIEW LOCATION STAFF was absolutely perfect!

So I decided to walk in to local location and talked to a very helpful lady at he front desk and she called the storage location and and the boxes were available as promised.

Chuck BWorking with the Grandview office was one of my best UHaul experiences. I’ve used UBoxes for five different moves and this group, particularly Rachel, were outstanding. Very helpful, super friendly even when dealing with multiple reschedules, and prompt both at delivery and pickup. Wish all UHaul locations were like these guys.

So i had to extend thw uhaul truck on top of that after 48 hrs I still was not able to get in which ultimately led to me having to get rid of all of my belongings. We liked this way of moving things ourselves, but also not getting worn out by tring to do a long distance move in 4 days with a big truck. We were able to pick up each box, load at a reasonable pace and now that we are to our new location we are picking the boxes up one at a time getting items to where they belong. The boxes are easier to load than trucks, come with 24 furniture pads so lots can get packed in tight! As far as we can tell nothing shifted in the move. :)

I was also very dissapointed to learn that after paying that there was no truck in this location to deliver. However, upon arrival there was a truck sitting in the parking lot that could have delivered. Instead, I had to pay $1900 to have movers move the contents of my 6 UBoxes. Very disappointed in being lied to. Will never use Uhaul again.

Tim DI was extorted at the last minute. I booked movers to help unload a u-pod several days in advance. Over the next few days, I coordinated back and forth with the movers. When the day came and the movers went to pick up my u-pod from the facility, my order was “mysteriously” cancelled (I did not cancel it), and suddenly I had to pay over an additional $300.00 in order to get my stuff. The movers said unless I paid it right then, after they had already hooked my u-pod up to their truck filled with my family’s belongings, they would leave it there, and I would be on my own with no ability to move it here after a cross-country move. This is unacceptable and I expect a refund for my entire amount.

The storage unit that I was told was for a 2 bedroom home was not true. I could not fit my furniture into the unit. The tow dolly I rented with my truck had a blowout on the highway and it damaged my vehicle. I will never us this service nor advise ANYONE to use Uhaul. I moved here from Louisiana due to Hurricane Ida and all the trouble I had with Uhaul made my move even more stressful. Everyone I get on the phone from a headquarters can't help me it's been a total disaster. I had to move my thing into a outside unit when I need a climate control unit, which you all don't have to fit my furniture. I am very disappointed in the services I received. Very poor service.

Debi MOur experience with uHaul was less than satisfactory. Contact thru the phone line is way to long to speak to a representative to receive information of any kind. There was not enough staff at either the pick up location in Missouri or the delivery destination in Fort Myers FL. The service at both locations was deplorable,, not enough employees to be helpful and long waits. Also the delivery location for pick up in Florida was sent to a different location than we had contracted for, which was an hour north of our assigned destination. The morning of the pickup we experienced another long wait time. We were then told that was the pod had been hit by a semi truck overnight. The pod was damaged and at our arrival the entire contents of the pod had to be removed by a crew and reloaded into another pod for us to move the unit. That delayed our pick up by almost 2 hours and we had no idea if any damage was done to the contents. At this time we are still trying to open all boxes to assess any damage done to contents.
Paul BMy overall experience from start to finish with U-Haul was very stressful and unorganized on U-Haul’s part. I called customer service multiple times over the course of 4 months, and every representative I talked to didn’t seem to know the correct answer to give me. Each time I called to move forward with my move process (confirming the U-Box loading facility, getting my U-Box scheduled for shipment, arrival date, etc.), the representative I talked to said the last one I had talked to had given me the wrong answer, and this continued throughout my whole move. My box arrived safely, but the entire process was a very negative experience and I don’t think I would use this again.

I ordered a certain size & they failed to mention they were giving me a smaller size plus another size to "add together" . Then they only gave me ONE room number. It took 3 trips to find this out. On top of it I lost my 1 month free because I cancelled my Uhaul rental truck (went with another company) BECAUSE UHAUL DID NOT HAVE MY RENTAL TRUCK (I needed a 26' and all they could come up with at time of pick up was a 15' while moving from a different state.) That's not my fault yet I was done wrong every step of the way by UHaul.

When I arrived at the storage facility to move in, I did not have access to the location. We pressed the help button because we had no idea what was going on. The person on the other end was rude in their communication with us. They ASSUMED that we did not have access due to non-payment and said we needed to come to the office location to get things straightened out. We attempted to get more information about what they specifically needed from us and asked for their name to make sure we spoke to the same person. They hung up on us and would not answer the phone when we pressed the call button again. When I arrived at the office, I asked for a manager. Another employee, who was not a manager, attempted to help me but found nothing in the system at all. The manager said he would help when he was finished with the person he was working with. I recognized his voice as the rude person from the help call button. The more appropriate thing was probably to have the employee finish with them if it was not an issue a manager specifically needed to handle. When the manager did finish and being helping me, he found that the issue was on their end which made it extremely rude that he said the issue was non-payment which was not true at all. He also told a young,black woman who had been nothing but helpful that it was something that she had done. It's completely fine to teach employees but the delivery was rude and seemed more like pointing blame than helping her learn. As a patron, I was offended by the way that was handled. The manager did get everything fixed. As he was giving me the first month free, he acted as if he was doing me a favor. In reality, I was entitled to a free month because I had rented a Uhaul truck and a free month of storage is part of the current promotion. Additionally, neither time that I visited this Uhaul location was I offered recurring payments or online account setup for my storage unit. I had to ask for recurring payments to be set up on my credit card. This is poor customer service in general. Every customer who gets a storage unit should be offered recurring payments and told about online account setup. I have used this Uhaul location numerous times in the past and never had a problem. With this one experience, I have a hard time considering recommending this location to any or using it again largely due to the manager's actions. I can understand and empathize with an employee who is learning making a mistake. What I have the issue with is how the manager originally spoke to my family and I as well as how he spoke to the employee who made the mistake.

Code that I picked & guy put into the system would not release the lock at the storage building. Would not have been able to get in if one of the doors had not been unlocked. Could not get anyone on phone from location we contracted with, etc. Lastly, called on a Saturday evening about 6:15 p.m. A lady answered & said she was not at the Blue Ridge U-Haul Truck Rental location where we contracted with but she'll send them a message to call me back that day. The lady did say at that, they open up at 9 a.m. on Sundays. We never got a call back that Saturday or any other day. That Sunday, no one was at business location at 9:45, nor 10:30 when husband stopped by there to return the key after emptying out our storage unit. We haven't heard from anyone until now, receiving this survey! Cannot resolve dispute before leaving this survey feedback if we cannot contact anyone. We have made several attempts. Now, maybe they'll contact us at 816-868-1164.

While unloading furniture, the doors started locking. Therefore someone had to stand at door to let movers in. The U-Haul employee asked how many rooms of furniture, I told him and he still recommended a unit too small for everything. Leaving us to either rent another unit or give away to the "share" corner. We had to pick the share option being I couldn't get anyone to pick up phone when storage person I got on phone first told me I had to call U-Haul office instead.
